As a customer I like this, it gives me an impression you’re giving me a choice and I feel empowered by being able to listen and take a decision after hearing you out....I don't get that awful feeling that you are "working on my brain " with tricks and lies
Thanks for sharing
Well, ironically, it is "working on your brain" LOL
@@lightyagami5776yes but they do hold all the power regardless but the most important thing is its consent. This isn't the 1930s where ethics were nonexistent.
I’m going to try 23 seconds, gives them more curiosity.
I like it
22.5 even better

yyttyyggghhhhgghh
This is wicked good 😂😂😂😂 you’re deep in that feel
Instead of copying this line. Copy the foundations. Wich will get you more results. Like for example, the foundation here is permission based selling and time
Couldn’t agree more!
Time is the only thing that matters to every single person at every single time 😂
@@metatronscube2037 yes, and also consistency
Great feedback but example?
Every man and his dogs using that line 😂🐶
Dogs would be great at cold calling
It's because it works 😆😆😆
@@MrPerryAI’d hang up
@@808JuJuthat’s only a good thing, it means you weren’t going to listen anyways
@@BIG2hats no it’s because that line is over used
This works!!!! I use it!!! Thanks!!
Awesome stuff!! Thanks for watching!
I will give this a go, I am curious how is the success rate of this?
1%
I don’t see how it’s a problem if everyone’s using this line. You give the person an option , they can accept it or not. Not some groundbreaking trick
Worked on my first call of the day 🎉
Awesome stuff
“Sound fair”
Fair…one of the best words to use in sales
Great opening line
thats actually a great opening line. thanks buddy!
Thanks Matty!
Love this
Thanks!!
Interesting. Thank you
Thanks for watching and commenting Shah!
This one doesnt work anymore because it has been spammed by millions of people. I a couple months when this one isnt popular anymore, and the market is ssturated to a different method. Then we can use this one again
Great comment!! Thanks for watching
That's a Sandler pattern interrupt.
You got it
The only reason this works is because it peeks curiosity. It's not about permission based selling. You also may lose the prospect by not pitching right at bat. I never use permission, instead I peek curiosity which keeps them with their ear to the phone.
Curiosity is so important
Can you give an example of how this can go
Well the reason it works for Benjamin is first he invented it so he delivers it perfectly, second he deals with sales directors and CEOs and it works for them. I've seen people using this line on mom and pop small businesses and it doesn't resonate as quite.
Gonna have to tweak the language to match the persona
You get hung up on 9/10 times
* 2/10 times
1/10
and that 1 that talk is sell. same as regular number except you end up having positive vibe
welcome to cold calling, a numbers game.
I dont think you realize that a 10% success rate is really good. so that tells me you dont really have experience on what you're talking about.
That guy actually looks like Mike Bolton from Office SPACE
😂
Have thoroughly tested this. If you are cold calling B2C you will loose 50% of your deals.
B2C is a different beast than B2B…agreed
What if they ask what's a cold call?
I’ve never been asked that, most everyone knows what it is.
If they ask what is a cold call, you go right into your pitch.
D level at best
What’s “d level” about this?
Wow
i use this in tech. works 9/10 times.
awesome stuff.
Boing! 😂

On to the next call

Who is the man in the suspenders?
Benjamin Dennehy. He also goes by the alias. The UK's Most Hated Salesman.
@@obunny3251 I literally found his channel yesterday! Thank you O Bunny!
Benjamin Dennehy
@@MattMacnamara thank you
@@isomchapelle2956 glad you found him 😊. Enjoy!
hahah
Glad you liked it
Telling them it’s a cold call feels just weird. They don’t need to know it’s a cold call. If they own a business, the definitely don’t need to know it’s a cold call. If it’s a grandma with nobody to talk to all day, tell her it’s a cold call and she probably wouldn’t care
If this doesn’t work for you, try something different
They’ll know it’s a cold call regardless within the next 2 seconds, prospects will often ask if this is a cold call.
Also sometimes I share this, the Bible says that GOD loves us so much that he sent his son JESUS CHRIST to this earth and HE lived a perfect sinless life. And JESUS went to a cross and gave HIS life for us.And rose again in 3 days and who ever will receive JESUS AS THEIR SAVIOR AND ASK HIM TO COME INTO THEIR HEART AND FORGIVE THEIR SINS,HE WILL TAKE YOU TO HEAVEN.

Dave Grohl?
Looks like him lol
…hangs up 8/10
PS dafaq happened to his beard… goddamnit
8/10 give permission to proceed with the pitch…at least that’s what I’ve seen
This is not a good opener lol. That was not smooth
what would you change?
This shit doesn’t work it causes more objections and sales resistance
How many times have you tried it?
@@MattMacnamaraI’ve tried it multiple times before and the reason it doesn’t work is because it immediately gives the prospect an excuse to close the phone. High level reps want to prevent objections not cause them.
This causes, “I’m not interested” knee yerk objection not real, “I’m too busy can you call me back at a later time” or just a simple Click*
@@OFFONE if it doesn't work for you, try something different...which it sounds like you are
@@MattMacnamarahere’s my cold call script that’s allows me to book meetings daily and have low to no resistance at the start of calls (assuming cold call never interacted with company)
Is _______ there? Hey ______ its Mike … I was wondering if you could help me out for a moment?
Let them answer
Well I’m not quite sure who I should be talking to, I called/stopped by to see who would be responsible for looking at any possible hidden gaps in your________ that could be causing you to _________?
Who should I be talking to about that?

Well you know how alot of people/companies, sometimes get frustrated with______________, ________________ and ________________?
Well what I do is help people/companies like that with _______________, ________________ and _________________.
Does that resonate with you/your company or something you might be experiencing?
And if they responded to an ad or put in some info new lead
Hey__________its stephanie….with ________……it looks like you recently responded to an ad asking us to call you back about looking at___________, so that you could _______________ (repeat back the end result) right? ……..
Hey and I was just curious, when you went through the ad and saw _____what was it about the ad/(however they found you) ... that caused you to you know…wanna look into this further?

Now this call is pretty basic, its really more for us to find out about what you’re using now, what results you’re getting, compared to what you’re wanting, to see what that GAP looks like to see if we can help.
and towards the end of the call if you feel like it…. might be….what you’re looking for, we can talk about possible next steps. Would that help you?
Then go into your situation questions (remember to bridge into them where you sound natural, verbal cue, then question)
What are they doing now
How long have they being doing it that way
Why have they been doing it that way
That’s horrible. Don’t ever do this in your life.

This is a manipulation technique for making them feel that they have a choice, like making them choose between two snakes with one less venomose but still kill you.
not sure how this is manipulation...they do have a choice, take the call or hangup.

sorry for the one word response yesterday so let me elaborate my thoughts here after 30 years in sales. So, where do I begin? Number 1 it is unprofessional and if you said that to me I would hang up on you b/c I would think you are playing some sort of a game. People aren't stupid especially in the business world. Number 2 you are basically telling the person on the phone you want to sell them something and this strategy is so 1980's. Most importantly, why would anyone buy anything from someone this way unless they are desperate? People don't want to be sold, they want to buy. I used to cold call years ago and what I finally realized is that you don't value your time by cold calling and it will essentially destroy your confidence. Having said that, selling doesn't have to be a numbers game all the time with better strategy, Spend your time doing research on your prospect so they know you know something about them start with some complement on an achievement or aware they won etc...and then send an email asking if they are open to some ideas or a strategy to i.e. .improve their sales or productivity etc... @@MattMacnamara
