So today we have another MK3 RS on the channel; but this one is a little different. Last time we had B7TMY's Focus RS on the channel and it impressed me, and that was pretty much standard; this one is far from standard.
So lets see if Skinners (@skindog88) RS can impress me!

nathan harmston I gave all the information which was given to me as the video progresses, the only thing I missed out was what brakes he was running; which I did my best by providing a B roll clip of the brakes at near the end of the video

Great video mate! I guess they're a bit heavy, that's why they don't feel sketchy(fun). 460hp is a quite a lot for a hot hatch and it'll be plenty in something lighter.

I love the rs. Mines 400 bhp and it feels quick enough but they do go through the gears pretty good.. and I think that’s what makes it not feel that fast.. but the handling is on point

Notorious Adam nah piston slap comes from the tolerances between the block and piston being too large. IE poorly built.
@@grimecritic6511 piston slap is bad when you put standard sized forged pistons in a block that hasnt been rebored for the smaller tolerance.
I love your shifts bro! What mods have been don’t to the transmission or clutch it seems so smooth. Maybe it’s just your shifting but incredibly quick and pinpoint. Can’t watch it enough 👍🏼

What a build such a dope car.
My 2016 Focus ST is sitting around 380whp, it is a massive change in how it drives and what it can run on the road from the FBO/E30 stock turbo 300whp it had...and I can go a lot more but just havent yet (fueling limitations as well). So I agree, another 30-40whp would be about perfect. If its a track car, power isnt always the answer, you want the power and torque to deliver where it counts.. more power usually means a sacrifice in low end power and often also a sacrifice in power band... late power to redline. Having a little lag also allows for better acceleration as you're easing into the power, not a quick burst of torque that just understeers XD

ive done the same body kit on my car and after cuting the fenders the rear of the car is crazy loud you hear all the road noise and it kinda of rattles a bit. looks cool but sounds annoying maybe my shop did something wrong i dont know but its very noticeable. Im also riding on bc racing coilovers
When ive done my work on my 2018 rs theyre is 2 layers of noise dampening 1 felt layer and the other your normal abs plastic.

Oliver Mahtani no but if something is fully forged, it’s usually to push big power.. and what is required for big power? A clutch with a high clamping force; a stiff clutch. And considering I didn’t know the power when I first stepped into it; hence my comment. Read between the lines buddy
