- hey guys today we modify another project and switch out the ol' briggs and stratton engine it had and replace it with a 110cc Chinese ATV engine. this vintage motorized bike goes about 30-35 mph. it's a really fun ride and was even more fun to build! be sure to check out the channel for more cool projects such as motorized bikes, mini bikes, gas scooters, go karts, motorcycles and even alternative energy.

Bad video not enough people set on fire 2,5/10. No but seriously you are awesome dude keep up the good work.
lol I'm working on my safety
I dont know how i didnt find this channel sooner. This is heaven for home garage fabricators. I love the clever drivetrain setups and simple multi speed transmissions. Gonna binge watch ALL of this available!
haha glad to hear it thanks man!
I would have kept the Briggs. A 5hp is over 200 cc I believe on the flat head briggs. I would have kept the original and ripped the governor off and cleaned the carb and go way faster.
The briggs is 198 ccs if I remember right but it also only has one gear. That thing might only have 110 but has a pressure oiling system, built for high long term rpms, and a cvt built in. My son's little 110 4 wheeler runs off and leaves his cousin on his 212 (no gov) go kart.
yeah, I suppose so, but I like the switch to automatic. the belt tensioner method gets old after a while lol.
@@OliverMotorized If i remember right you have your belt setup where you have to press a lever to engage the drive? I can see why that would be tiring, but a belt clutch normally works like most manual clutches where you press to disengage. It's more pleasurable to ride a bike that is set up that way for sure.
@@IntelGoesHard nah it was the opposite, you unhook the lever and let go to engage move forward
@@OliverMotorized must have been a different bike i was thinking about. Love the videos anyhow. I build similar junk
Haha ain’t NOO way you left for someone to take !!!
What a score omg
Wait a minute freeeeeeee
Awesome alterations to the bike. You do a great job editing as well. As far as the ad. We all got bills to pay so, why not. Keep building, your style is coming together.
cheers lynn, thanks for the comment
Man I thought I was invested into watching this video until I seen what I thought was the man invested in the time, effort, and cost that it took to build this thing just leave it in the bushes with a free sign on it!?!?!!!!!😅😳
quality getting better and better, this is cool. Will you try one of those 200-250cc 4 stroke water cooled ATV's on a sturdy fat tire bike once? Pleaseee :D I want one of those
hah just gotta get my hands on one of em' engines lol
@@OliverMotorized Yes! We are all waiting!
I found three in my local scrap yard couple days ago
@@versatile1976 Yeah, they are really good. They have a lot of power. IDK if chinese ones are good though!
Free bike😮🗣‼️
Loved the bike, really liked the cinematics. Great work, brother.
thanks man!
Nice Bike reminds me of a Modern version of the Vintage Harley Davidson motorized bicycle motorcycle
Thank you very much! Well, unfortunately I agree with a few here, and I liked the old engine a little bit more. But, cinematics, you are getting better and better! And your sense of humor, always a great fountain of smiles and laughs. One last thing, I am the only one missing the Swedish alphabet?
Be well and keep it up.
Alicia
You are building some of the coolest stuff on the tube 👍. Well done sir ⚙️🛠
yee yee! thanks man
One word to describe it...... Pertafying
Well Son all I can say is watch the frame joints, and wheel bearings like a hawk. Have as much fun as I would. Saddletramp M&S Motorized Bicycles, Houston Tx. Always wear a helmet.
thanks for the pointers. cheers man
It just keeps getting better and better! Keep it up!
That thing looks badass!!
For the best-looking welds you want to go with gas, also select a wire that has good flow out and appearance let the strength be secondary.
Your editing is so enjoyable.
thank you sir
Good video man nice build if I had to watch a commercial I'd rather watch one like you just did real and practical
haha glad it wasn't to unbearable
Nice build
Bromance confirmed. The master of edits
Looks like the A-Team and MacGyver has it going on at the same time... great build brother... I could tell before halfway through the video it was going to be this way..,.. don't give up.... call it evolution... you've gone too far just to give up ...You Got What It Takes ...... just finish it....
you'll be going to the salt flats soon
I would love to see that👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Taking it to another level
Excellent insanity sir
Nice build, even though I liked the sound of the Briggs better
I must say you are very talented. You can make somthing out of anything. Just as long as you have God and tools. Great video. 👍👍👍👍 Thumbs up. 😁
thank you for the comment!
Great video Oliver 👍👍 Nice build brother 💪💪
thanks man!
Love to see a fabricator. Cudos to you
quality content!
cheers Georg
My boy! Oliver the master bike builder & Sorts. Just so you know, i would've taken that bike build off your hands. Haha...take care, see yoUr next build soon.
haha thanks Ruben, I think i'll try to fix it lol
Great music
Yes, more Oliver.
I think the one let down of this whole video is the 1 second flash where you dissed the far superior metric system
Awesome! Great video and build.
I really wanna see what this guy is building in the next few years. I see a custom motorcycle in his future
maybe... hah
I'm building my own out of a 59 Norman of England bike (has pinned pedal cranks instead of a single casting so the shaft can be used as the jack shaft for running the original chain setup), a 2.5 hp briggs, and a belt clutch similar to yours. I'd share a pic of my progress but sadly I can't add an image in a comment.
Really like your videos Oliver you should make a street bike powered lawn mower.
AWESOME build,
thanks paul
Excellent job !!! I loved !!! This bike can do 100m/h !!!!
Don't mind the lil product ad at the end. Might even order some, look handy hah. Cool build! Love these little engines they're good for so many projects.
cheers aaron, yeah they are fun lil engines to mess with
The sound of the brigs was a lot better
yeah it's hard to beat the sound of a straight piped briggs lol
Born to be mild.
Dude! Great content, always something interesting, and the videography is spot on!
appreciate it bud!
Two things...Thin paint, like they throw on thousands of bikes isn't that bad to weld ,it usually burns off ahead of the white-hot weld.THE OTHER THING....I have a peeve about the question I hear often at the gatherings around whichever bike I choose to go to lunch on..,"How often do you burn your leg on that exhaust"?(unless your leg is broken, deformed,or maybe that isnt your leg, YOUR THIGH WILL BE OUT IN FRONT FIRST,THEN YOUR CALF WILL GO DOWN TO THE PEDALS.(whew!) Check out 'john wade on you tube'. 22 motorized bikes.I'd love to have your honda setup!cool as hell!
thanks man I appreciate this comment! got that on the other motorized bike I built, some folks think you will spontaneously combust if you get close to the exhaust
Right at the end of your ad plug when you rub this on your hands saying you never wear gloves anyway as you appear to scratch your neck like the chemicals just kicked in . Lmao. Awesome bike , if it's free I'll pay postage and packaging to my home . 🤣😉
haha I decided to keep my baby lol
Need to upgrade that welder man. I got a amico power 3-1 welder for around 500 online. You'll love welding with gas instead of that messy flux core welder. It's more expensive but better looking welds and better penetration. Comon who doesn't love better penetration lol. Great builds tho! Awesome content. Look into getting a body mic it'll improve your audio on the videos. They seem quite quiet
thanks for the audio advice! I'll def look into getting a new welder, I just figure a gas would be a pain to refill.
@@OliverMotorized it's not really you can buy a small tank outright for like 150 and the fills are like 15-20 depending on the gas and size. You can lease a large tank that will refill the small one a few times and one fill will run for a while. I used one fill for about 1-2 months
Awesome build bro, really liked it.
Sweet Bike! 😎👍
Fab skills and the editing are getting improvements, how are we so lucky! Nice work, now for me to work on something today.....
nice! Glad you appreciate the editing lol
That's sweet I'm gunna be taking a 50cc quad rear end and motor and make it into a 3 wheel custom chopper for my brother
very cool! good luck on ur project
Good projects man. Really satisfied to watch you working on your bicycles. Good content. Love it!
thank you sir
I'd gladly take that off your hands!
haha I changed my mind. she is safe and sound
I love your work but I hate it when you weld without taking the paint off
I get lazy for sure
@@OliverMotorized your welds would look way better with proper prep. One other thing, you should invest in a plasma cutter.😏
This thing is sick! I’m so happy you’re back to making videos brotha!
cheers David thanks for the comment!
Good video Oliver !
If you make a bike with a wheel in the center and put the pedals on the center wheel. And ah so have the back wheel spin freely like wheel on market cart you'll be able to turn deductions on a dime. You'll need smaller wheels dow
LOL @ the Kilometer reading. I had to rewind and pause to see it. I imagine some may get butthurt over it despite it being funny.
top top top
I've got a case of those wipes next to the toilet
lol just don't use the scrubby side
Cool
thanks
I love that it's not a kit bike you used thing that were never intended for that uses where did you get or how did you make the rear hub that's my biggest problem with my project bike I subbed by the way
These are great videos. You should try giving your bikes farings.
good idea! time consuming though lol
The old engine sounded cooler
Fun ride! I was so worried about the location of that exhaust system. Not a place that takes kindly to 3rd degree burns 🥵
Thinking the same. I woulda ran it down and under
No problems yet! it has a good heat shield on it too
Oliver Motorized great to hear! Lol...I’ll be crossing my fingers that it remains that way!
Mighty fine gas tank
Next project you should do an engine swap for a motorcycle. Like a V-twin swap into a 50cc scooter.

Hello from Romania, one question for you ... Would you prefer more a 4 stroke kit or the 2 stroke ? I'm about to build one and I have doubts about the 4 stroke and the clutch issues ... And for the 2 stroke I have doubts about the noise ... Could you help me out with a suggestion ? I enjoy riding on hils and valleys ... Which one
would be better for me ? Thanks
Love the edit bro
Now all you have to do it take the throttle system completely out lol
free all take it and rebuild it with out big tools
Let me tell you something dude,,.. me and you were cast in the same mold. Your cinema graphic style along with the catchy and rhythmic sound track, plus your dramatic acting, all kinda slightly downplay your exceptional mechanical amplitude. People like us just don’t understand that most other people don’t have these kind of skills, to us it’s kinda natural. Your a great mechanic,,.. and an even better entertainer,,..naturally.
Thanks bud! always nice to see someone with similar tastes
You should do a give away. One of your builds.
You need some Pomade on your rooster tail ... and some water on that burning shirt.
It looks more the part but that motor is absolutely anemic, but there must have been something very wrong with the briggs because a 5hp briggs should kick 50 mph easily.
That atv engine should have done about 50mph but got there faster and done it longer without damage compared to the briggs.
yeah the briggs prob wouldn't last too long going that fast, I think I just need to manage the gear ratio
hey Oliver I've been watching your videos for a while and you do awesome work you remind me of me when I was younger I wouldn't let nothing get in my way everything I built I built on the cheap at that time it didn't look that great but my work was performed good for the small amount of tools you got you do damn good work I don't know if you seen my bicycle bill if you haven't check out this video Bicycle build part 5 keep up the good work keep the videos coming
just checked it out! very cool bike. well made!
Hey i did that exact thing to my bike mine goes 60mph and has almost the same engine
tell me ur secrets
Do you ever sell some of your creations? Some of them are very inventive.
Now paint that awesome engine brown too :()
Even with the new engine, I think the bike still perfectly retains its vintage style! Just looks a bit more sporty/street style instead of board-track.
yeah It's nice driving the automatic too
@@OliverMotorized I'm guessing it's just a single speed auto?
Directorial prowess here.
Enjoyed the vid. I wouldn't enjoy a blowout video. I wonder how fast those tires could go.? Nice Gunk bit 🤧
I fought I'd already subscribed too you but its done now keep your videos coming Olivier
this editing is gold lmao
😄
Should have kept the Briggs
Классный байк, плохо что без переключения скоростей .
спасибо, да это нуждается в механизмах
You should do how to videos on how to make motorized bikes from comman machines like weed whackers
Parabéns você
Muito obrigado
8:16 So at the end because of that small problem you just say F it and leave it for free.
Change out those old tires.
tires are actually brand new lo
you should have kep't that it that went perfectley
I want one, where can I get one of those bikes?
What was unreliable about the briggs? I've found them to be reliable.
it's just getting a little aged. Electric start was easier too haha
@@OliverMotorized ah! A mixture of things then i imagine? I could see a carb that's a bit dirty and with an aging diaphragm paired with a loss of compression making it a pain to start.
awesome video, quick question thats really dumb. can I have the old engine????
lol nahhh sorry
*Oliver Motorized* Wondering the name of and the artist for the jazz music starting at 4:20-as well as possibly the other music..
it's called "the rhythm recipe by Jules Gaia
@@OliverMotorized Thank you man! Excellent projects btw
7:38 standard.... Lol
My dog doesn't like the bell sounds and she ran for her crate when she heard the beep. She still hasn't came out.
Must play this vid when my dog tries to run away out the gate
haha poor pup!
