- Hey viewers, in this adventure I go Kayaking in Tenerife in the Atlantic ocean for the first ever time. To a fairly remote beach to camp the night. I have no experience in this sport so I was very scared especially being on my own with no way of getting help.
Its a NEW adventure in a NEW kayak. An inflatable kayak from decathlon, ITIWIT touring 100+. It has a drop stitch floor so is fairly stable but still only recommended for extremely calm water, not the Atlantic ocean......
Even though the kayak done well and I can. not complain I do not recommended doing this without experience unless you want a stressful scary trip..
This is my #maychallenge for the #stealthcampingalliance . The challenge was to do a stealth camp with something NEW, in something NEW or ANYTHING NEW. It was set by @THESHAODOWCAMPER and his twin @theshadowcamper9856 for their 40th birthday. It is a stealth camp because anywhere in the whole of Spain camping is forbidden unless a designated zone or private land. Which this beach isnt. And the adventure is NEW - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Never ceases to amaze how some people seem determined to get themselves out of the genepool. You *might* want to throttle back a bit, at least until after you've raised some children.....just sayin..

Legend mate but , get a pFD strapped to you and no phone signal ..get a small vhf 🤘 well in mate those itiwits are good fun .we have the big x100 2/3 and had a trip out west coast scottish lochs hammocks and tarps last week a lads week for mental health ..and Recovery

Wow that was scary Josh. those kayaks I don't thiink are really for open sea, and no life jacket did make me concerned for your safety. As you said next time you'll wait for perfect conditions so lesson learnt. You did well to stay upright in those waves. The sea can be so dangerous and if you were taken out to sea there next stop I think is America. So relieved you made it, I hope Betty did not give you too much of an ear bashing for this...lol
You can use them in the sea but they recommend only in pure flat water, so the conditions were not ideal. Glad I done it though, was a good bit of character building. Betty tried to tell me not to do it, but I'm the boss ;-)

:-) Your good... I'm from a village just outside of Bristol haha. Dont worry I dont plan to do poetry ever again, but yeah they are 40, 1 of them is always stoned (40 stones) and they are picking the top 5 for the SCA challenge ;-) Thanks for the comment appreciate it
Man, you need a buoyancy jacket! There are random waves out of nowhere the sea makes and those can turn you upside-down. Also your things into the water. Get a water bag backpack and put everything in it, so even in water, after closing, it floats. Practice at least once how is it to be upside down into the water and with your stuff around yourself, then getting in with your center of mass as low as possible first then the rest (extremities)

I don't think you should use an inflatable kayak and spears together. But I don't know about the subject
