I really struggle to dribble and beat this type of opponent who doesn't throw himself and waits for me to pass to the side to get the ball. Even Antony couldn't dribble it. What can I do to be more efficient when I fall into a 1v1 against a defender and I want to dribble him ? I am a winger

Before match : 1. repetition is key
2. Select few simple moves and master them (for example: my main moves are croquetta, body feint and ronaldo chop)
3: practice with match like scenario (for example: receive a pass or cross from a friend, control the ball,do your skill [what ever you wanna practice] and finish)
For 1v1 in match:
1.Stay calm and confident (it doesn’t matter if you make a mistake, because outcome is determined by your ability to endure)
2. Don’t get isolated and have passing lines just in case if anything goes wrong.
3. Think ahead what you wanna do before you get the ball
4. Run at them with speed, STRAIGHT at them so you can freely choose what side you wanna commit.
5. Once you get past them, cut in-front of them so they can’t challenge you from side

My dribbling style is a bit like Messi's, I have a very good touch and control of the ball so I just attack open space, but I don't think it's effective as a winger especially if the opponent expects me to do it. starts and it doesn't throw itself
@@football2.05 defenders job is to delay you, isolate you or take the possession from you so they will expect you to move into space but the thing is if you don’t move into space with ball you will get isolated so that’s why you need to take 1v1 on with confidence
If you analyse Messi’s play style you will see how if he wins the 1v1 or even 1v2 he always moves into space because that’s what gives him time and area to play his next move
Sometimes instead of going wide he purposely inverts and takes those 1v1 so he can create more opportunities because wingers usually get isolated by defenders and then they have no chance of passing the ball

On AllAttack they don’t say you need to lock your ankle. Instead they recommend practicing striking the ball against a wall with the top of your foot each day, trying to hit it with no spin (or as little spin as possible). They have videos that say to start gently against a wall, trying to get the technique right, and then gradually increase power. Once you can do it well with your strong foot, they recommend doing the same thing with your weak foot. To slowly strengthen your weak foot, they recommend shooting 3 times with your weak foot, then once with your strong foot, then repeating that 3 to 1 ratio every day for several weeks and months. They said to practice as long as you can each day, but be careful not to over practice and injure yourself. Instead take breaks to rest your legs, then try again, and try again the next day.
