1. Charcoal powder
2.The General charcoal pencil (Medium, soft)
3. Royal Charcoal Pencils (Hard, soft, medium)
4 electric eraser
5. 3B, HB graphite pencil
6. Blending stump, cotton bud & Brush for charcoal powder application
7. Tombow eraser
8. Canson paper

There’s one challenge I’m facing, which is; how do i make my grid strokes less visible. I use an hb pencil and i try to outline my grid as light as possible but still
Try 3H pencil and reduce the pressure as much as possible..

But please next time indicate every tools that you will pick to work let's say you are going to draw the eye the first pencil you pick you show it out to know that that is the pencil you are using it for let say the eye browse. I smudge with blending stumps and go over with a brush for smooth results

*Can you tel us why you don't want to tel us which Canson you use?*
It’s smooth on one side and linear textured on the other.. I use the textured side… I purchase them as CANSON paper. I don’t really know the actual name of the type.. I bought them in bulk.. I’ll find out on my next purchase. This shading, you don’t need a smooth paper. A bit textured and thick paper that can retain either charcoal or graphite powder is more appropriate .

Hard… but soft for dark values..
I include a little bit of graphite powder when shading a light skin
