It's shitty the Remington golden saber not in here
"Oh no! This is a $30 box of ammo!"
Lol oh man.
2018: federal hst "50rd boss for like 20 bucks"
2021:??? hold mah beer "your 2 is supposed to be a 5"

Oh yeah, I just got a box of 50 rounds of .40 Remington golden Saber for 55 bucks at my local gun show
You can still get boxes of these carry rounds 30$ for 20 rounds

I always feel that these guys are giving their honest opinion without any bias, and I also appreciate the lack of politics. Thanks guys
R A what lack of politics are you talking about?
@@borkwoof696 I watch these videos to learn about firearms and related things, NOT to be force-fed someone's opinion on politics or world events.
R A this channel is full of political rants. Even this video was political with the „Mexicans“ comment

Fed HST are great rounds. Worst “adult proof” packaging EVER.
No truer words have been spoken.
dude I hate that packaging, cut myself trying to open that stupid box. lol
I hate opening those plastic boxes. But I love those rounds. I buy them at Walmart all the time
No doubt I carry HST in multiple calibers for different guns.. and that plastic box kicks my ass every-time.. there is an actual correct way to open it though.. there is a seam hidden under the stickers.. if you slice the seam with a knife it actually opens halfway decent..
Trueeee
The talent of being able to say this all in one take is very impressive. The knowledge these guys have is crazy.
Anyone else here during the Pandemic and watching this video thinking "I'll carry whatever ammo I can find in stock..."? A box of cheap $10 hollow points is better than no ammo at all. Haha.
Update: I haven't seen those rounds back in stock since I ordered them... Pretty sure those $10 HP's are now triple that price at this point!
There is no HP left anywhere as of 6/2020
@@repetitivemotion - Yeah...I got lucky and found a cheap brand of HPs on some website...bought about 500 rounds and checked again a week ago...completely out.

@@repetitivemotion - Geco Red Line 9mm 124 grain HP. Damn good price...but the site has been sold out for weeks now and I've noticed other stores have pulled their listings for some ammo so I think it's going to get harder to find more. =/
In Detroit all the gun ranges and shops have basically nothing. Ranges stopped renting pistols because they don’t have the Ammo to go along with
Gentleman, this is excellent advice that you have given on knowing what's beyond your target. As a retired law enforcement officer I have been shot at. But, because I wasn't sure I could safely return fire without injuring someone innocent I didn't shoot. We were trained to make sure that at the end of our tour of duty we returned home safely to our loved ones and that included not being charged with a accidental shooting. Excellent advice again, thank you for sharing this.
I wish more cops would think in this manner
Updated 2019 video for top carry rounds by caliber . Thx guys . Keep up the great work.
I use the Underwood Extreme Defender because I like the barrier blindness and the fact that it doesn't expand. In 2020 Lehigh has updated the machining process which has allowed them to drop the price a whopping 33%! $20 versus $30 for a box of 20 rounds makes me very happy!
The Underwood Defenders are really great rounds! I used to carry the Defenders but decided to switch to a different load and that load is Critcal Duty which I’ve been very happy carrying!!! The prices are better when it comes to the Critical Duty also.
I like it as my top is because a car barrier will not help you.
Great info guys. I'm now carrying the Underwood Xtreme Defender 120 grain in my .45 and this video verifies my reason why I switched from the Federal Hydra-shocks that I use to use for many years, {20 plus years} I really like the Underwoods, and have found my shooting to be much more consistent and more accurate with them due to the lighter recoil than the former 230 grain were.
I agree, I’ve done the same thing for use in my Colt Defender. I also carry it in my HK45C. This Underwood ammo feeds well in my Defender and the recoil is quite manageable. It helps me maintain the highest accuracy of any round I’ve tested.
I wish they would've discussed feed reliability on these rounds as well. Penetration and "hydraulic channeling" sounds cool, but reliability to feed is my #1 factor in choosing a carry round. And with all these fancy twisted hollow points and screwdriver tips, I think they should've discussed feeding as well.
Nailed it. Same issues here
Would that be too gun specific?
Eric’s face when chad interrupts is so funny 😂😂 he has gotten better, I’m sure they’ve talked it out lol.
Bullet "goes through the victim". A bad guy is not a victim. He's the perpetrator. Let's get our terminology straight.
Victim implies unlawful discharge of a firearm, and whilst it might have been a slip or a joke we all know there are those out there that would seize on it to feed their anti 2A rhetoric
Stoner Page a victim of his own stupidity.
Said the smart ass.
Stoner Page don’t need to get butthurt over a joke. Even if the joke is true.
Stoner Page I think you need a hobby.
One thing that very few people mention about “hollow points” is that they can be very finicky in a semi handgun. You don’t want a round that is not reliable and won’t cycle the next round. Every handgun has its favorite round. You should fire a minimum of 100 rounds of the ammo you plan on using to make sure there are no problems.
A good quality firearm should handle jhp ammo. If it doesn't function reliability; fix it or ditch it. Maintenance is extremely critical for EDC function and reliability.
@@mistermom310 it’s not the firearm or maintenance. Some projectiles on JHP ammo are just too aggressive or angular and hang up on the feed ramps of the barrels. You could either sand the chamfering on the feed ramp, ruining the finish and exposing your barrel on your defensive gun to the elements, or more simply, find a different round. Speer is very popular with law enforcement and some military for this reason, as they’re very rounded at the tip when compared to, say, the Hornady Critical Defense
@@ReqDef As a retitled LEO I carried and continue to carry Gold Dot, Winchester T series. I've never had an issue with them in my Colt, Beretta, S&W or Glock weapons.
@@mistermom310 Gold Dot is the king, in my opinion. But it all depends on a variety of factors, just happens to be the best-performing defensive ammo out of my G19 with or without the match grade barrel I like to run
You ought to but given the cost of JHP ammo, and that is if they are available, one is lucky to have enough to full a magazine. Ammo manufacturers are much more intoned to make their ammo function in a variety of guns. And gun makers have been very sensitive in making guns that will function with a variety of ammo. We don't hear as many complaints about choking on hollow points than back in the 1980s and 1990s.
Love the back and forth discussion. Keeps the honesty up top!
Really informative for someone looking for ammo for their first carry gun, thanks!
I really want to see an updated video of this test with some of these and the new rounds on the market. I know it would be unbelievably expensive today tho. Thank you for your work. I still come back to this often.
Y'all are a good combo. Make the good info actually more fun to watch & the contrast, I think drives the point home really good as well. Thx for the info and the work on a very watchable production.
Thanks for mentioning underwood ammo. They are a small manufacturer that produces rounds with Lehigh bullets that produce extraordinary ballistics. Ballistics that you can actually trust From what’s written on the label. That’s a refreshing thing the major manufacturers might get a clue about.
I like to open a fresh box of shiny new bullets, dump them out and play around with them. They seem to like it too. When I go to the range, I mostly shoot the cheaper target rounds, but I always put a few of the new premiums down range before I load up a magazine for my EDC weapons. Always good to shoot them before you trust your life to them. Then I clean my gun and fondle and count the new ammo again before organizing and tucking them in for the night. I love my bullets, and I think they love me too. Now you know what a sentimental Pistolero I am. Don't tell anybody!
Please...Let Chad Talk and quit interrupting him... Just Sayin!!
@Dick Burns I like apples in my bum bum
@Dick Burns do you often times find yourself refering to men as delicious treats?

I’ve been watching your channel for years and I am finally about to be 21 your channel has helped give me ideas on what I want to carry and I appreciate it
I've always used FMJ to familiarize myself with how to shoot a particular firearm well. Then I'll always put 2 boxes of hollow points through it to be sure it cycles and it shoots on target with the ammo before I carry it.
That’s a
@@Prosecute-fauci Yeah but but it's still cheaper than breaking your new gun/mag in with hollow points, which a lot of guns/magazines have feeding problems with for the first hundred rounds or so.
@@kidthorazine What round meant for your gun will break it? The hell? Unless you are purposefully shooting hot loads or have a Cambodian made shtter, no ammo of matching caliber unless a Defective round (Due to outside reasons) should EVER "break"you firearm, at most.. It will fail to cycle or even fire. That is why we test our Carry rounds, not bc we care about a gun being broken (which should not happen) and can be replaced for money, my life cannot. I run the rounds to protect my life, not a fking gun. Should not be breaking. Lol.
@@HailWoden18 That was a typo, I meant "breaking in" A lot of guns won't reliably feed reliably until you go through a break in period. They especially tend to get hung up on hollowpoints.
@@HailWoden18 Break in. I believe it was a typo
LOL, Chad was right about Bonded core, it IS a molecular bond, not a press fit. Chad: 1 Eric:0 BooYa!
Great video guys, thanks
all it is, is electroplating copper sulfate putting a very thin layer of copper onto the outer surface and that's the only downside is most plated bullets aka bonded are to thin and its like shooting unjacketed lead rounds not all of them are like that but alot of them are to thin.
I’m actually not wrong...lol. There’s several ways to bond a core, and yes lots of bullets are mechanically bonded. It’s much cheaper for a Bullet manufacturer to roll a knarly crimp groove and call it bonded. Also, so awesome projectiles are custom swaged and machined from solid stock like the Lehighs.
It’s a body of knowledge man. A vast body of knowledge. It’s hard to remember every tiny detail 100 percent of the time. What I do know is I’ve tested these rounds thoroughly and actually spend a couple of grand doing it. They are excellent and have their own application. I’m not a big fan of RIP
Golden Sabers black belt . .mechanical bonding ,Speer Gold Dot. . molecular bond
What is this about a "press fit jacket". How are they doing that? Electro plating to me seemed the cheapest way to put the jacket on at all. How else are they putting copper on there?
I agree that recent advances have made the 9mm a much more potent choice than it was a decade ago and it’s usually the caliber I carry. However, people seem to forget that those same advances have been made to the other calibers as well so they too have improved.
An excellent point, but the resurgence of 9mm comes now because it is now considered a guaranteed effective round. Back in the day, the FBI requested the creation of a new caliber because of the failures 9mm to be lethal. Through a convoluted process, they eventually arrived at 40 S&W as a balance between the capacity of 9mm but the effectiveness of 45acp. That's how .40 became all the rage. However, advancements in 9mm have increased its effectiveness to the point of being considered viable. A 9mm will kill now, and that was the point in the change. In the past, you could not have relied on the 9mm to be powerful enough to kill. During the Miami shootout of 1986, which is what sparked the creation of the new caliber, suspect Michael Platt should have been killed by the 9mm he took to the chest, but it didn't penetrate far enough to hit his heart. That would no longer be the case. 9mm would have killed him if the agents had been carrying the Speer Gold Dot G2s that they now carry. So the point in switching back to 9mm isn't that it is now suddenly better than .40 or 45 as far as stopping power goes. It isn't. However, the FBI has since decided that 9mm, now being a lethal round, is good enough to be considered. If all three calibers between 9mm, 40 s&w, and 45 acp will do the job, you want the one with the highest capacity and lowest recoil. If I only get one shot, I want a .45 acp, but I'll take fifteen to twenty 9mm rounds over seven 45 acp rounds or 13 .40 S&W rounds. That's their thought process.
@@s0frl15 Actually, after the 1986 Miami shootout the FBI was asking for a more powerful round - a one shot man stopper without the recoil of the one caliber already in existence that could do that - the 357 magnum. Too many agents couldn't pass the FBI shooting qualification test with the 357 magnum ( try it) so they opted for the hi cap and low recoil of the 9mm. After Miami shootout S&W developed the 10mm for semiauto pistols. The 10mm equaled the 357 magnum in every way, met FBI ballistic standards but had the same issue of strong recoil so FBI rejected it. S&W came back with the .40S&W (cut down 10mm case) which was more powerful than the 9mm, met FBI standards and had manageable recoil. FBI adopted (police departments followed) the 40S&W and was their standard 'issue caliber' until the newer ballistic technology caught up with the 9mm - less recoil and more rounds per magazine. I really like the 'snap' of the 40S&W but I'll stick with my 45ACP 'because shooting more than twice is silly!'
For me..Speer Gold Dot has always been my favorite and performed extremely well.
You two are great! Very informative and entreatingly funny. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the video. I've been packing Hornady for 8 or 9 years... I think I'll continue. But now I have some others to check out. Thanks Again!
Dude, LOVE the representation of the .45 GAP! It's a great cartridge, and it's too bad it never took off.
This should be updated for fall 2020. You won't find many of those boxes for under $45 now if you can even find them.
Honorable mentions- Ranger T and Golden Sabers. I like all those in the video but carry critical duty most. Also HydraShok rounds saved my life so there always in the mix
I'd rather pay 30$ then pay with my life 👏

You only have $20 in your bank account
@Gojira ok as in forgive him for your ignorance for he didn't know how ignorant you were. It's ok, I'm sure at least 1 person loves you.
My honest opinion, I’d hate to get hit by any one of these.

Me too so I go for the coolest looking ammo.. They are all effective.. Im not gonna nitpick.. Im switching from Zombie Max to the nickel plated Critical Defense or Duty...
DING! WINNER!
I was carrying Hornady 200 gr XTP in my XDE 45 but switched to the Federal HST +p 230 gr. Best round out there by far.
I use and also reload the XTP 230 grain because it's readily available for reloading. Some of these rounds do not have projectile's available for reloaders.
Both of my carry guns are 9mm and I use 147 grain HST’s in both of them. I use +p’s in my p226 and standard pressure in my glock 43. I love both rounds. Accurate, reliable, proven, and from my own testing both are pretty devastating. I haven’t messed with any of the xtreme penetrators or defenders in anything other than a 357 MAG yet.
You had me at "MOLECULAR" !!!
The Johnny Damgerously quote was classy! Made my day!
2 weeks ago, I went all out and bought critical defense/critical duty for all of my carry and home defense guns. Makes me feel better seeing this video.
Thanks guys! Very informative. I learned out in just this one video!
I carry Federal HST 147 gr. +P at work and i love those rounds.
Get it if you can find it. Federal has discontinued the HST 147gr +P. I just bought the last 7 boxes on AmmoSeek that were listed.
I love how there’s just a barbed wire bat just there. Nice homage to Lucille.
Interesting results on the hst. Many have tested that stuff with various barriers and had unflinching reliability of expansion and consistent penetration afterwards. Wonder if your box lot was funky.
Nice guys. Y'all changed my mind on a lot of rounds. This was good. Thanks 👍
I want to find out where Chad got the "When you're too close for missiles..." Shirt?
Also, I like the fact that Speer makes a short barrel version of the Gold Dot ammo. I would be interested to watch a test of that to see if it really makes a difference.
Chad’s right. The mechanical bond can result in separation more easily than the molecular bond
I'm not sure they adequately presented the difference in the two bonding types. Hey, I'm a fellow Georgian and a fan of the show way back to its beginnings but Eric has a habit of talking over Chad. They would fare better if they coordinated their presentations better.
Both of you guys are brilliant! Thank you and Semper Fi
I bought a lot of the "New Age "type of ammo ,Cor bon ,Liberty Civil defense ,etc, before the current shortage .I haven't seen any of them lately .I'm glad I got it when I did .Great Program !!
I like to think of ammunition like hollowpoints as collectors items. Yes they have a purpose. But they wont be here forever and will eventually be relics like the black talon.
I’d never carry R.I.P. rounds. Like they said, low on penetration, after the petals come off it has a very unimpressive wound track and I’d never want to be in a self defense shooting trial where I would have to defend using a round called R.I.P.
You know the other lawyer would harp on that all day long. You might not think it would be a big deal but to a non shooter on the jury I would be afraid that they would think I was just looking for a reason to shoot someone because of that round.
It is also not "common". If I had to go to court over a defensive shooting, I would want my attorney to be able to argue that there is nothing extreme about the ammo selected and carried. It is the same as hundreds on LE agencies all over the nation.
I have never thought about that til now. Thanks for your comment. Will be switching back to hornaday critical defense.
Rounds named defense or used by law enforcement are always are best when a trial starts.
I can only think of the medical staff chasing down all of those RIP petals. Pistol rounds often don't kill.
I do understand your point, in today's world. Ppl don't understand anything when they think they know it all. Some1 on the jury would really take it aa R.I.P. (rest in peace) when it actually stands for radically invasive projectile
Diggin' the FENDER cap on Eric!
That first shot with the hornady that goes out and gets snapped back in. I loved it.
I been watching your episodes for the longest. I enjoy all. And gave learned a lot. Keep up the good work. You Georgia Boy are great.
I'm a firm believer in Underwood 9mm +p+ Extreme Defender for my carry round. Awesome penetration and always stops where it's supposed to.
I like the Hornady Critical Duty/Defense, absolute confidence in their quality control, never seen a primer that wasn't flush, or casing that isn't crimped just right, most importantly no failures(so far!). I've had feed problem with Sig ammo(115gr 9mm).
I'm glad someone mentioned the Duty/Defense types. They keep saying Defense in the video when talking about Duty, which I believe is the bonded one. Both are great, but Duty has the higher penetration.
I love the down to earth explanation and specific details.
Fluid dynamics is a phrase I never thought I’d hear you two gentlemen say. And, truthfully, I don’t think I’ve ever said it either.

I know its 2 years after this video was made, but i recently purchased a Ruger LCP Max .380 and i gotta say this pocket pistol is really awesome. Ive never been a fan of .380 but i wanted something i could stick in my pocket so that i dont scare anyone open carrying. Even though its a right, and very Constitutional, i dont want anyone worrying that im a danger to anyone. With that being said, i took the LCP to a relatives property to try it out. And i have got to say that the LCP is comfortable, accurate and very stylish for an affordable pistol. And i love it.
I'm late to the party. I really appreciate y'all doing this video. My girlfriend and I have been chatting with several people about personal defense carry ammunition. It's cleared a lot of confusion up.
my dad started carrying extreme defender in 9mm. he said it worked great on a rabid dog, and he figured it'd work well on assholes with bad intentions.
Lmao
Dustin your dad seems like a smart guy and has pretty good sense of humor too.
Was he a ups driver?
@bangbang300 lol a cat this guy has to be joking
@bangbang300 oh well still you can't compare a cat to a person and why did you kill it?
I think you guys are trying to say that "A lawyer is attached to every round discharged". Great vids guys as usual.
Remington Golden Saber has performed well in many tests. It is my second place carry round. Hornsby Critical Defense is my #1 round. Good video
Glad you mentioned RIP. I also like it for home defense as I don’t want it going through bedroom walls too much. On the street I would rather have the pure stopping power.
Critical duty +p is in mine, works good!
you need to test the street proven yet old school 9BPLE +P+, it is available for next to nothing and its accuracy is incredible for an expanding round. it does fragment heavily but here in the south in the summer when people are wearing the least they can its a viable choice. it also served great for many northern police agencies.
Great video guys! I usually carry Hornady Critical Defense 9mm but I do have a few boxes of Federal HST and a box of Speer Gold Dot too.
3:39 that death stare haha
Chad proves Eric wrong (AGAIN), but will he admit it - Nope! "So let's go on to our next one..." Completely ignores Chad.
Any opportunity to ignore Chad should never be wasted. What a smug excessive "Air Quotes" kind of guy . He always lights up when he sees ANY opportunity to correct Eric. He must find it so difficult to understand how Eric and to some extent Barry built this channel to the level of popularity it enjoys without any input from him.
Lol. One thing Chad will never do is turn down a chance to be a know it all. There’s plenty of ways to skin a cat. You can custom swage anything you want with lead cores and bulk jackets, you can mechanically Bond a core with an agressive cannelure, or you can plate the core with copper and bond it. There’s also any number of other closely guarded manufacturing techniques which are closely guarded trade secrets. Take your pick. You don’t want to be standing in front of any of them. 🤷🏻♂️
Smoke DeGrasse Tyson more like the bearded wonder on 'Tool Time" to Tim!
Iraqveteran8888: Eric, did you just accuse Chad of the one being a know it all??? You really need to go back and watch your videos and then look yourself in the mirror. You are the one constantly interrupting others to prove that you are the smartest one around. Your overbearing personality allows it - until someone who is more assertive is in the room (Like MAC) - then you are quite sheepish. Just watch the videos, the evidence is all there, crystal clear.
Ryan Reyes : WOW...project your home life much??? That was rude, to say the least!
Hornady 115grain. Lower punch on the recoil and very manageable. I started with federal hst.
This was great! I learned a lot. Thanks!
My gel testing differs from yours. I did not do blind barrier testing, we just placed 3 layers of denim in front of the gel. Of the 4 rounds we tested (critical defense, hst, pdx1 and older ranger t series) the critical defense had the least expansion and the expanded shape was still somewhat circular and smooth. The HST had very impressive expansion equal to both of the Winchesters. In addition to great expansion both of the Winchester rounds had sharp petals around the diameter of the expanded bullet. The older Rangers petals seemed more jagged but in almost half the rounds at least one petal separated from the bullet. In the case of the PDX1 all petals were retained. So as impressed as you were with the Critical Defense I was pretty underwhelmed.
Underwood or DoubleTap loaded with Speer Gold Dot, Nosler Jacket Hollow Point, or Hornady XTP...Barnes Tac XP (DoubleTap).
Lucky Gunner Labs is a great resource to see how the ammo performs in ballistic gel.
Again, great video very informative and entertaining. Great jobs guys. I carry the Hornady's
I just stumbled upon this video and I want to thank you for the info it provides. Being that it's from five and a half years ago, I would love to see you do an update on it!! BTW, a video about ammo and guns with you wearing a Fender cap, rocks!!! 🎸🎶
I'm Digging the "Fender" Cap... i play Fenders myself...lol
Gold Dot also comes in Law Enforcement boxes of 50 for around $20. Also Speer Lawman is the training round for the Gold Dot. SG Ammo is where I get my HP rounds.
The Winchester White Box ball ammo is a fantastic training round. Great for reloading and priced at 56$ for 200 rds at Wally World, makes it 28 cents for 165 gr 40 S&W rounds. And this load is easy on recoil but good power to match the 165 gr Gold Dots. The 180 gr Winchester bonded brass case H.P. is 20$ a box of 50 in 40 S&W also but is a close second choice for economy SD.
I wish we had your ammo prices in Canada lol
Targetsportsusa is good, too. They have Federal HST and Am Eagle, and Speer GD and Lawman.
Great review guys. Well done.
I like the idea of that G2 rip ammo too. The other thing that comes to my mind is if the person who you shoot survives the docs job is going to be hell trying to get all of the fragments out. But I also can't argue against the penetration argument. I can imagine that some people like air Marshalls could see a big advantage to it. I feel like it has it uses and you should really consider what you put into your gun and the potential of that round. Thank you guys for all of the amazing content including the ballistic vids because its so much easier to understand what a bullet will do when you can actually see it
I switched from HSTs 124grain to Gold Dot 124 grain p+ after doing a test between the two and saw that I can play more accurate and tighter grouped shots with gold dots. I was still giving HSTs the chance, until I had a failure to feed and that's when I decided Gold dot was for me.
HSTs are still good in my book despite the failure to feed
Must be your gun or mag because I've ran thousands of HST's in all calibers thru several different firearms and never had a malfunction. And they're very accurate as well. I also like Speer Gold Dots. My go to for carry is still Underwood Extreme Defender and HST
Boy, these days i would be happy just to find some ball ammo. 🥺

Awesome information! Thanks!
Federal HST; from all the ballistics gel tests I have seen (particularly Shooting The Bull on CZcams), this is the best self-defense round in basically every caliber.
Need to look up comparison videos against the Xtreme Defense round. There are several out on the tubes and AP2020 Outdoors has some good ones too
I use their Micro cartridge for my snubnose for more consistent muzzle velocity. That averages around 850-900 fps out of 2 inch .38 special.
The only round that beats it is Winchester Ranger T-Series if you look at the Lucky Gunner tests.
If I were ever attack by a ballistic gel block I hope I have this round.😂
The French THV round is very similar to the Lehigh Defense Xtreme Defense but better and was done 30 years ago.
Love the content from you gents Great Useful information
19:20 - Agreed, that's my biggest concern when I start carrying hopefully some time soon
(I say "hopefully" cause I just started my CCW procedure here in "good ol" California)
Good luck homie

3:57 funny you're gonna say his explanation is only adequate and go on to be wrong. He disagrees and corrects you and.. let's move on
Ya so? Its called being mature and moving on with your video after learning what he had to say about it.
Their friends, that's what I love.
@TROPIXSTARZ boomer alert. Next, hell say Lucas at Trex is a snot nosed brat because hes young 😂😂
Picked up 5 boxes of Hornaday custom XTP124 gr at Bass Pro shops they have no fmj but plenty of self defense rds and get this 21 bucks for 25 rd box that is the lowest price I have seen in a year
Love everything about this channel
Great and knowledgeable video as usual guys 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
If you can't justify $30+ for quality self defense ammo, you probably should not be carrying. No matter what it costs, you need a proven, well established carry round. Not uncle festers reloaded stuff. Your attorney will thank you should you ever be in that situation.
I like the Negan-like bat in the background. You can sure learn how to make some weapons just by watching The Walking Dead.
Guys it is so good to see y'all and keep these videos going......
I don't know how light it made, I do know it IS! The results don't have to be explained just observed. Great videos! I am not jumping you guys, but to any doubters. LOL
Critical Defense rds are all I carry in my 45.
I was told by a Hornady rep a couple years ago when I was sales manager at a popular gun shop/range in Alabama that the Critical Defense was more of a ccw round for compact handguns and wasn’t built with an emphasis on barrier penetration where their Critical Duty was designed for duty type ammunition engineered for barrier penetration.
You're 100% right on that which I like hearing from somebody that rep from Hornady told them that because I carry a 1911 45 ACP a full-size Government model A my sister carries a Ruger LC380 and she puts Critical Defense in hers I carry critical duty in mine because of my cousin who's a sheriff and has been a sheriff for 20 years told me and her to either pick Federal Hydra shocks or Hornady Critical Duty or defense she chose defense because I don't think she can handle the extra pressure and maintain Target but I like the critical duty penetration tests but I've seen a ton of online and I'd trust my life with that I also carry Federal Hydra-Shok too I've never had to shoot anybody thank God but my cousin inline work he's in has had two he was almost killed a few years ago he got shot 3 times twice in one of his lungs bye guys it call them and was telling him he was going to kill herself and as soon as they showed up on scene he opened fire on my cousin and my cousin shot him 6 times back and he says he don't even know how many times has partner shot back at the guy but my cousin's been 3 months and I see you fighting for his life after that and whenever he healed up he went right back to work he's one tough sob
Hornady is crap. Worst performing carry ammo. Check out all the gel test and you will switch.
@@uga83joe what you’d suggest?
@@retaliationgaming4158 shooting thru a barrier is not considered self defense.
@@uga83joe it is if there's a guy who either just shot at you or is currently shooting at you. There are probably a couple other extreme scenarios as well but still, you can justify it in the right setting and circumstances
Great honest video guys. Thanks!
Great video. I may have watched this several times.
