Second season is confirmed. There's a teaser trailer out for it already. Show is pretty fun. Gotta love Cid lol he's so extra. Also it is kinda funny that Claire won the tournament with Iris and Mundane Mann out.
The water technique "witch's secret technique" was Aurora's blood magic that he ended up riding during their duel.
The girl on the boat was Zeta. We've seen her before when she was exploring (one of her personality traits) when she was looking at a penguin.
I remember people laughing when she declared I’ll be the champion to Cid her words to her dear brother are so important we need to take her more seriously 😂✌️

Don't think many people noticed, but alot of the cid fighting moves in ep 20 is the same as ep1 when he fights the criminals. For example the wrestling move where he throws Beatrice on the ground is the same martial art being used when he throws the thug on the ground.
Another fun thing is that, ep20 atomic level is so much larger than what has been shown before. You can see a little crater within the large purple circle. That's the atomic from ep 5.
well in episode 5 he stopped it so he didnt kill the sister. he most likely could use the range he showed in 20

@@Syllaren i mean who says the range is just how much mana he puts into the spell. the more he adds the larger the range. but the level of destruction stays the same. just a larger area. kind of contradictory but cant explain it well i guess. like the spell has a set function and the range of the attack is the only thing that increases not the level of destruction. idk. hard to explain my thoughts.
@@jdogzerosilverblade299 haven't read the ln, but in summary, I am Atomic cannot get any stronger? It is literally an atomic bomb. Deals damage on atomic level. It's not surprising if it is already at Max level strength-wise, unless we're talking about fantasy level where it could even obliterate souls.
Edit: I wonder if he also included radiation on the effect. There's a Manhua I read where MC made nuclear bomb. The radiation destroys and/or mutates atoms, thus healing, even time magic, cannot heal the damage.
There is a reason Shadow noted that the Artifact Blade is made of Mythril.
Most materials have some degree of magical conductivity. It’s typically pretty low, like, up to 10%.
Mythril is highly sought after because it’s conductivity is 50%. There is only one thing that beats out mythril.
Slime monsters’ bodies are 99% conductive. They basically use magic to hold themselves together. There have been attempts to use slimes for practical use, but it was found to be impossible.
Cid saw that memo and rejected its conclusions.

Edit: Also, the sound designer for Eminence is Jin Aketagawa who did probably a hundred animes you already know like No Game No Life, Your Lie in April, ReZero, Dr Stone, Shoukugeki no Souma, Kaguya-sama, That time i got reincarnated as a slime, highschool dxd, fire force etc.etc.
Just look him up, he did a lot of the best animes in recent years. If you look at the list of animes he did you could just randomly pick one and 95% chance its a banger and they would perform well in the reactor algorithm of youtube.
Season 2 is confirmed but we don't know exactly when because the studio didn't confirm it
A post on Hidive said that "The Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero and Eminence in Shadow are both scheduled for release later this year"
But thats not confirmation from the studio.
However, there are already key visuals for Eminence season 2 and a trailer, and those usually only show up within 9 months or so from release, so it wouldn't surprise me at all if it was true and just leaked on accident.
He actually Aimed that Atomic on sky resulting in clearly rainy weather of whole country..........🔥
What makes this so good is that they have effectively perfectly blended multiple plotlines and genres together that normally shouldn't mix. Cid/Shadow fills in your Action, Comedy, and typical Isekai Power Fantasy. Shadow Garden/Cult of Diabolos/Alexia provides a Mystery, Suspense, and your typical weak to strong while uncovering the secret organizations ruling the world trope. Lastly you have Rose with the Drama, Tragedy, and Redemption genres as she she loses everything and fights to save her people even if it means killing her father and being seen as a villain by the whole world. Sherry is also well positioned to continue filling in for Drama, Tragedy, and Redemption once Rose's arc ends.
Any single one of Cid, Alexia, and Rose could easily be the MC on their own and it still be a good but generic story/show. However they've managed to blend all of them together in a way that just works, it doesn't feel out of place or jarring as the tone shifts between various genres or we jump between characters. The writing team absolutely nailed it, hats off to them for pulling this off without a messed up pacing. Lastly combined with good animation, a fitting art style, well choreographed fights, and absolutely killer sound design we get what is easily a top tier anime. If the following season(s) can match this one I can easily see this becoming considered a classic that shifted the direction of the industry.
PS the sound design is just so fucking good and has made me realize what a huge difference it can make in the overall tone and quality of each scene. It's the finishing touch that buffs all the other stats of the show and pushes from an 8.5/10 to 10/10 for me.
That was a perfect representation of this series.

Second Season is coming up. There is a teaser and although there is no confirmed date yet. Rumours say that it will come on September/October of this year.
Apparently in the 28th if May there will ve an event with all the Seiyus with important announcements for both the mobile gacha game (probably the PC Version of it) and of the anime. So let's hope that it is season 2.

Something you might not have noticed, in the Atomic Jebait, when the Child Cid shows up, his lips actually seem like it's saying "Yamero" (stop or don't do it).
The reason for this has only been speculated, but a popular theory is that this flashback is about Child Cid watching television, and during the show, the "eminence in shadow" of the show is in the middle of a scene where he shows off how powerful he is towards the main cast.
Cid says to his screen to stop, since if they truly showed their power, they would be exposing themself to the public, and no longer being the eminence in shadow that Cid aspired to be.
As Cid said in the post credits of Episode 1, he does not want to be the hero or the villain of the story, but rather the Eminence in Shadow, and if he had given into his impulses here, he would've solidified himself as the villain of the story, by basically nuking a capital, and going astray from what he truly aspires to be, it was a moment of weakness for him, that he only managed to control last second when he remembered the scene as a child, which is why he launched the Atomic attack into the sky, which is what cleared up the weather.
In the end, most of it is just speculations of different people that i mashed together, only Cid really knows what happened, and the truth will forever stay in the shadows.
i hope i got my words across, I'm not confident in my english, but i wanted to convey the message since i thought it was cool that what seemed like Cid just messing around, was actually somewhat of a deep character moment

I think he was saying "atomic" but he only "mouthed it" so he showed them without telling them. Therefore he cleared the sky to show what he could do without actually killing them. I'm very certain this is the case.
This show to me is the perfect example of leaning into the tropes - One Punch Man is another, they make fun of their respective genre and how serious it takes itself while also doing it better than a lot of them. Also that sound design is amazing!

If you go back to episode 1 and then the part where Cid is already reincarnated and with his army, you can actually see Rose for like 3 seconds as part of shadow garden, though you cut it out of your reaction to episode 1 ;p

Honestly Shadow saying he doesn't rely on artifacts could be considered a complete lie because the slime is OP , 99% magic efficiency while Iris sword was 50%.

The slime magic is not an artifact, it is a spell. The reason they use slime is because their swords always break when they channel mana through the blade (Especially shadow and 7 shadows because obviously they are overpowered) and it is just that slime can shapeshift so it is way too useful. He called artifact a borrowed power because it has nothing to do with user's power, anyone who wields that blade can use it while slime weapons are just cast magic.
I hope that they bring Beatrix and Annerose back because I haven't seen them in the manga after the God of War Tournament. I hope that both of them are brought back, but I am very curious as to how Annerose will react when she finds out that Mundane Mann was Shadow, or that Shadow was Mundane Mann, either way you know what I am talking about.
