10:20 probably not even early, the fact that they are so similar suggests that either they evolved the same color scheme and jaw type seperately, which is way less likely, or they were a fairly recent (geologically speaking) evoltionary branch from the stalkers, possibly suggesting that the kelp forests spread all the way to the floating islands at one point, and then a (most likely climate related) geological event occured, making the kelp forests recess, but instead of following the kelp forests, twisteels instead adapted to the evolutionary niche of a fast, medium-sized predator in the floating islands instead of their place in the kelp forests.
or possibly its just stalkers wandering away i mean this is probably just due to how their ai work in game but stalkers tend to wander away from the kelp forests especially if something catches their attention and usually will just claim the new land as their own, the reason we dont see them littered everywhere is either them getting taken out by the lifeforms inhabiting that area for example they would try attacking gasopods but get taking out from the defensive gases they release or taken by surprise by the sandsharks

Cut creature, the huge bird or "Strato-Wing" Can be found in the beginning of the game following you around without being able to land until 4 nights it'll fly to one of the two islands, the Degasi island being its feeding grounds and the Q.E.P site its nest of origin. Only one strato wing exists as the species is nearing extinction. If player encounters it in the Degasi island it can be found feeding on lantern fruit and fly way if approached to close. If player encounters it in the Q.E.P site, they'll find it sleeping in a secluded out of reach nest site made of blue tree wood and other forms of plant debris.
I have a theory in my mind, but is it possible that the reason the stellar thalasacean has bioluminescent spots on its body is that it might attract zooplankton...? Therefore leading me to the thought that the reason why the thalassacean egg has bioluminescent bacteria is to make it easier for the thalassacean that might hatch to find food to compensate for its growing body.
About the prawn suit stuck in the ground, I've done worse with the cyclops, the lost river had a spot where the wall didnt generate properly, so I was able to travel through it, and I took that every time I went down there because of my severe lack of direction, well, at one point, I got the cyclops jammed between a rock and a wall, all I could do was go up, I managed to get it out eventually using floaters, I think I got 70 floaters on there, and then a minute of button mashing it came out, but with about 5% health
I don't think twisteels are very closely related to stalkers. The four-jaw structure seems absent in stalkers, and the only real similarities are its long jaws with large teeth, and its coloration. But this could easily be explained by convergent evolution. I'm not an evolutionary scientist, so I can't be certain, but if the ancestors of stalkers and twisteels faced similar environmental pressures, they might evolve similarly. They both appear to be medium-sized predators adapted for catching prey larger than a Peeper- with their long jaws and large teeth, and agile, serpentine body plans, this would make sense. The coloration could easily fit into this. But everything else about the twisteel is very different. Their eyes, fin distribution, and general look is just quite alien compared to stalkers. Judging by Below Zero, Stalkers may actually have more in common with Earth mammals than fish, as well- but this is clearly a very non-mammalian creature.
I just found this channel and immediately loved it. You’ve gained a new subscriber once you get back to CZcams. 👍👍. Take your time during this scary pandemic.
I think the textures and animations could be tweaked a bit, but this is still an awesome mod! Combining these creatures with some of the fanmade submarines will bring the game a lot closer to what it would've been if the devs didn't have to deal with all the time- and engine constraints back then.
In below zero A new Architect model resembling the Hydra from destiny but with Alan's vessel coloration and astetic design. Can be used as solely as hive capabilities but greater to communicate with other Architect units in other solar systems or in extra dimensional space. This new vessel design can be found in Ice worm territory destroyed but an Ice worm carcus penatrated through it. It can be still functional but only the Gravity manipulator which Alan needs for his vessel.

Damn I think I remember doing a shoutout for you back at the start of one of my really old Subnautica videos? Did I? That must've been 4/5 years ago...
@@Awesomecrunch yeah, you did mention me, it’s been quite a while. I’m glad to see you back with more content.
Edit: it might have been a stream
Cut creature, the huge bird or "Strato-Wing"
Can be found in the beginning of the game following you around without being able to land until 4 nights it'll fly to one of the two islands, the Degasi island being its feeding grounds and the Q.E.P site its nest of origin.
15:20 HE JUST SLURPED UP THE BIH LIKE SPAGHETTI
I got to say I found this guy recently and have watched all his videos since
Thank you Luke! Glad you found me
The Gargantuan leviathan has it's own mod. Yes it has been brought back to life
Yeah and it’s not that great
Not yet. It's still freaking scary. I'm just happy that someone brought it back to life.
I was literally binge watching your videos yesterday
:)
Nice to watch your videos again:)
yo man were you been? :(
his girlfriend got pregnant he's buying milk rn
I just found this channel and immediately loved it. You’ve gained a new subscriber once you get back to CZcams. 👍👍. Take your time during this scary pandemic.
Thank you man :)
😁❤️
Ive been watching for 5 years, the absolute change in your voice is astounding
hahaha
I think the textures and animations could be tweaked a bit, but this is still an awesome mod! Combining these creatures with some of the fanmade submarines will bring the game a lot closer to what it would've been if the devs didn't have to deal with all the time- and engine constraints back then.
Thanks for coming back merry christmas and happy New year
You too!
@@Awesomecrunch yeah I love Christmas!
I’m glad people are starting to add in more creatures through mods.
I hope people keep making mods for Subnautica. It is a cool game.
Well if you said youd be back in the summer i cant wait for youre return
ive been staff on acination for three years and this is the first time ive heard your voice
Hahahaha
Its been 2 years i hope you ok
They did SUCH a good job on the gulper leviathan
Thank you for appearing again
One of the most bugged mods for Subnautica. Breaks spam creatures and generates millions of them. A good way to break your game.
still says his intro faster than the speed of light i like it
Gargantuan Leviathan - where did I go?
Why am I not alive huh?
Im not crying you are
The gulper is pretty much a less scary and more agressive version of the chelicerate
