and what has the greatest winning streak of all time have to do with 7-0?
are you stupid?
cant you add?
lol..you admit Fischer won 2O GAMES IN A ROW AGAINST TOP GM'S....but you think 7-0 is the greatest win streak of all times??
dude...you ain't very bright
ok
so true, exactly my thought , genius comment

Not just 7-0, 7-0 against an absolute killers row of opponents. Impressive.
Exactly. Going 7-0 in an open tournament where you gain .5 elo points is not the same as Caruana just casually beating 7 (borderline) 2800s like it's nothing
Fun fact: Sinquefield Cup 2014 was the strongest chess tournament in the history of chess with a 2800 average ELO rating of all the participants.

There is also thechessnetwork, aka NM Jerry, who's educational content is unmatched. Levy throws some common opening lines at you people and you salivate all over it thinking he just dripped gold all over you. Pathetic.

Thanks Levi, now I have a new favorite
Definitely the greatest performance in modern times. I studied the games using Rybka (one of the strongest engines at the time) and found that the moves were mostly top moves except in the game vs Magnus on move 34 where Fabiano went Qg1+ (score -7) instead of Bg1+ (score -29, later study (2021) shows this is mate in 20).

Happened to be the first elite chess tournament I ever spectated. Magnus almost collided with me when he quickly spun around while walking because he realized he left his blazer on his chair in the playing hall. I had to Matrix out of the way to avoid being smashed into.
You should do “playing against haters” as a video, basically people who call you bad at chess and think they can beat you
That only gives them the attention they want, wouldn't it? Also The haters might cheat just to spoil the video, even if they lose an account.

Hey Levy, I started playing chess after the whole QG craze and have been watching every single one of your videos ever since. I've stopped playing nowadays but still come back to your content daily and that just goes to show how much I appreciate it. Keep it up! Love from France
Asian mom: You forgot your prep at 8th game!?
This is the video I enjoyed most on your channel so far. You should do more of such series of games formats, similar to what agadmator does over the span of multiple videos. Since you don't go into too much depth you can fit multiple games, sometimes tournaments into a single video. That also adds an additional narrative to the video. Anyways, awesome stuff!
Fabi has world champ potential. I hope he does well when the candidates start back up
Look at Levi man so inpirational

Thanks so much levy. Caruana is my favorite chess player, and everyone always talks about this incredible performance, but you don't see it showcased anywhere.
I've been feeling a bit down lately. Really not interesting in much, and it's pretty hard to convince myself to get up from bed everyday.
Thank you for the consistent uploads Levy. Now I have something to look forward to every day

Ironic that this was recommended to me after I watched your recap of Magnus completely demolishing Fabi in the SCC.

Great video as always Levy. Loving the famous chess games reviews.
Nice analysis. This shows why Caruana is so good
And also, perhaps, why Magnus thinks he’s next best after him
Coincidentally, Fabi's game with MVL reminded me of the Najdorf poison pawn variation, even though it was the Caro-Kann, (Gotham's favorite opening).
Loving these commentaries. You make chess sound so exciting.
Awesome Levy! I always wanted to see some further analysis of this tournament.

In 2015, I was at the National Open Chess Tournament in Las Vegas, NV. While I was playing, my wife was waiting in the hallway. She recognized Fabiano Cuarana and said hello, and he was nice and shook her hand, and signed a chess book she was reading. Very cool memory for her.
I was waiting for a video on this streak!! I got curious and read up on it when you mentioned this streak during the coverage of MC Invitational!!
As always, amazing content! Really looking forward for a trompowsky opening video!

He literally played like an engine in game 4 holy crap.
You are absolutely correct. An amazing feat that has yet to be challenged. Fabiano Carauana's accomplishment in that memorable tournament will echo in eternity.

Would be cool to see Aronian in the next one:)
The game against Levon Aronian has me awestruck. The dynamic play across the board and rerouting pieces was hypnotic.
Fabi is an absolute beast. Rooting for him this candidates and championship.
Really enjoyed the cuts in the intro. Not sure if that is a new style, but it’s the first time I noticed it! Well done!

I was lucky to be following this tournament at the time and I was so shocked and excited. I normally don't watch classical tournaments because I get bored but I made the right decision with this one.
I remember when this happened but I never appreciated how amazing his wins were. I think Fabi will be World Champion one day
Its really nice to get this video on main page after 7 months. That is amazing performance!!! Really good video
Still remember this when i watched whole tournament since d1 just to see if fabi finally lose or at least draw. And at those day, i felt like caruana will dominate classical for next few years. God damn carlsen, he always know how to get back to the top.
Can't tell me Fabi doesn't look like he witnesses some disturbing image
