Ryan you need to visit Coronado, Seaport Village or Old Town while your there. San Diego is beautiful. I moved away 12 years ago and visit once a year. Enjoy your time there.

Make sure to grab a pizza from little Italy.. Mona Lisa preferably but you cannot go wrong! Hope you had a nice time!! Safe travels ❤️🤜🤛
Hey Ryan you mentioned that you don't like cucumber because it makes your throat itchy. I recommend you stay away from it as you probably already do. Seems like a small allergic reaction, if you don't have an epi-pen I recommend avoiding cucumber in general just in case. Keep up the great videos!

I grew up in San Diego and I can say that it is definitely a beautiful city for tourists. Once you leave the beach area and go inland the city is just your normal city. I used to jog up and down that sidewalk where you parked.

Check out Fathom Bistro. It’s a tiny place on a dock nearby you on Shelter Island. They’ve got great beer, sausages, hot dogs, and lumpia.

You need to get a California Burrito, its a San Diego classic. Its a carne asada burrito with French fries in it. Any taco shop ending in -ertos will have one; Albertos, Jilbertos, Robertos. However, my favorite is "The Taco Stand" in La Jolla, CA.

Quick tip if you want that cutting board to stop sliding around. Take a couple sheets of paper towel fold them in half and wet them. Stick them to your countertop and then stick your board on top and it should slide around on you anymore

Just letting you know, The classic Italian sandwich from the deli at Harbor Sailboats is FIRE. Also, the Deli has a bathroom key as well. You just need to ask for it

Check out glider port - plenty of van lifers enjoying the cliff side overlooking blacks beach / La Jolla… while you’re there drive up to the top of mount soledad for 360 views of San Diego!

Hey man, if you ever feel like getting out of the city for a little bit. Mt. Laguna and Cuyamaca State park are beautiful. There is some great disbursed camping up there as well. Take a trip out to Julian as well. You have to get some Apple pie from Mom's Pies. Don't forget the homemade cinnamon ice cream on top 👌. That and Nickle Brewery is a great place to grab a beer.
If you have collision/comprehensive coverage you can get that windshield replaced for free.

Hey , I know that spot well. Accidently stayed there on a business trip one time and it was the best accident I ever made. I didn't actually stay in a van though. There is this super nice resort down the street called Kona Kai resort. The view you were looking at is nothing compared to the other side. If you like looking at the water, high end yachts and a hillside of luxury homes all in one, go there when you get a chance. Its nice at night and during the day. Think Monte Carlo or something like that. Go into the bar in that hotel and have a drink if you ever go back. At night the bar surface lights up. Also, at night they have mini bon fires on the edge of the water. The place is a hidden gem. As I understand it, that place was once owned by the mob and was exclusive to upscale hollywood types of the 50s - 80s.

Eating Places 🍽to visit, Old Town San Diego, safe parking, walk around and visit the old victorian homes. Little Italy, Filippi's Pizza Grotto, authentic; if you can't park there, look on line and notice they have many locations. Nearby in little Italy is King & Queen Restaurant, they feature mixed culture of sushi; pork belly tacos 🌮, and yum food; and yum 🍸🍹🍺drinks; my-2 cents. ...BTW, thanks for the heads-up on overnight parking. Nice to know. That's a cool area. 🌅.. You could park in safe parking area at Old Town Station, and take train to Little Italy & Return. They have security.
Oddly enough i was thinking about doing something similar and traveling but i had my doubts about it, but seeing how you have your van setup makes me a little more hopeful 👀
