I rode today with two stroke survivors-my husband and a friend we met in our stroke survivor's group. His wife and I kept up the rear while my guy pedaled a Bosch assisted Grand Tourismo and her guy a Bosch assisted Rambler. We pedaled 10 miles together, enjoying root beer floats halfway. These trikes are Terra Trikes, but brand matters little-just the fellowship, fun, and exercise we and our husbands get cycling local trails. An added benefit is the improvement in walking when riding their trikes regularly.

I've been triking for one year after 18 years on an upright bike and I do not miss the pains I had from riding in the upright position. My trike has made riding really fun again.

We got a bargain Sun trike in Lake City, for my sister in law to recover from cancer and chemotherapy and then rode with her every day for two weeks with her telling us how far to group ride each day in Solivita, Florida. When we went back to New Jersey, she was up to 12 mile rides. We are impressed with her progress! We found another bargain Sun trike in Melbourne, FL for her sister in law and picked it up and she loves hers also, doing 14 miles with her husband the day we left while they stayed there in Solivita, FL. She loves hers also. She graduated from an upright trike to a recumbent trike (the blue dual rear wheel Sun trike) (the first one we got was the red Sun dual rear wheel trike)

Catrike should make a folding villager. I like how it's not to low buy not portable.

Hase makes folding delta planform trikes. Also, can be stood vertically for less room needed for storage.

Catrike does have their Trail model that folds, however the seat height is about 3 inches lower than the Villager's. So, understandably, it might be too low for some riders, but the Trail still keeps the basic features that the Villager has (3x10 gearing, 20 in. wheels, padded seat, etc.).
