    Very nice concept. Resellers and thrift shops are being very greedy with their inventory so now all the good stuff is getting harder to find. This would help bring better stuff in the resale market!

    Isn’t this just a swap meet? I mean i know i can be slow sometimes but this sounds awfully similar to a swap meet. This is a NEW concept?

      It’s really just a consignment shop. You literally have tons of these in my town and the surrounding towns here in Oregon. This is not a new concept

    Sharing a retail space is not a new concept. Another company has been doing this for years.
    Here's more info on Indy Clover:
    -$30 per week or $120 per month.
    -the store takes 1/3 or 33.3% of total sales.
    Let's assume there are 55 booths, the company would make 55 x $120 = $6,600 in rent per month at full capacity. If they have $1,000 in sales per day, they would make almost $10,000 in commission each month ($30,000 x 33.3% = $9,990). Let's just say the revenues is $16,600.
    The company would have to pay for rent, utility, employees, and other costs. You probably can get by with just one full-time employee at $4,000 per month... electricity bill $1000... rent $6000, others $1,000. You can probaby net around $5,000 to $6,000 per month.

    • @user-ll9qk2el4d
      @user-ll9qk2el4d Před 5 dny +1

      @@Krystal_Kitty7 It's not as easy as it looks. The math is based on the assumption that all the booths are rented out and there is consistent sales. If there is an economic downturn and business slows down, people might not be willing to rent the booths. To attract people to visit the store, the booths must have high quality items at reasonable prices that customers want to buy. Otherwise, customers will stop coming, words spread, and the business will experience a slow death.

      Similar in a way but not the same, consignments take 50% profit plus they will only take certain things, with this you bring everything in and set up like indoor flea market type

      None of the consignment stores I've ever been to allow you to set your own price. They just price it at whatever they want then decrease the price as time goes by.
