I internationally fly three times a year and can say that the service on gulf air is always brilliant on all flights..cabin crew and ground crew are so friendly, and the food on board always very delicious and tasty...

Though not entered on this, I must acknowledge Jet Airways food very, very high well above others..........Oh, Saudi Arabian Airlines serves world class food even on Jeddah to Abha (45 minutes regional ride).
My best food was when i started to travel 1980 wirh Alitalia the smell of the food hey were serving had so much in one Tray lt was amazing fresh fruit had everything on the menu's including seafood at the time and the delicious sandwiches were always on the tray and if you were still hungry during the fight or if you we're a diabetic and needed food not to mention drinks at any time you could aske

I cannot say exactly which is "the best", but for me Alitalia provides for one of the best food on long distance flights. I ate delicious and real pasta, some good fish and good wine on Economy. Turkish Airlines also gave good proof of a good food.Please, don' t mention White boiled rice or kind of spicy sausages or ridiculous things like these, offered on famous Airlines, famous because efficient, but that have still so much to learn about food onboard. Other things, no need to explain that indians, asians or italians or turkish have totally different tastes and preferences about food, but I don't feel to compare food like rice and beams with something much more professional and famous in the Worldwide kitchem. Rice and sausages, come on, please!!!!

For any of these meals, if the entree is served hot, like a TV dinner, it will taste like a TV dinner. Though not featured in this video, I think the best meal in economy class is Korean Air's bibimbap because it is served fresh. It is spicy, delicious, and does not have that TV-dinner taste.
Worst disappointing food these days is Singapore airlines. They used to serve awesome food 10-20 years back but now their meals have become as crap as American airlines.

The worst airplane food I encountered was on a well-known North American airline that no longer exists. One flight everyone was offered a ham roll in a paper bag at the beginning of the trip......No salad or butter. Just ham in a hot dog roll in a brown paper bag............And for anyone who complain about China Eastern Airlines I just flew on them and they feed U a lot. The only problem is Asian people don't eat cereal and toast like Westerners do so U get a breakfast which is very similar to your dinner.
All airlines meal looks great except Air India, I surprised to know that Air India meal is consisted of Dosa and Samber, they are extremely maid for dosa, without dosa they would die. Inflight serving dosa is exactly good for dosa and chutni nation
