I’m pretty sure for the first time I got into the series (KH2) I assumed the FF cameos were also made up for KH since they shared the same art style and they never had their own worlds like Disney does. Still it would’ve been nice to see FF characters in a Disney world that’s not Hercules.

I love Johnny’s Kingdom Hearts videos, I actually became I casual Kingdom Hearts fan after I watched his videos as I got my hands on 1.5+2.5 remix for PS4. I say casual because Jesus Christ like Johnny I checked out of the story after I played Birth By Sleep. Also who thought the name Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue was a good idea?
And this one franchise I'm never touching ever again. Too many low points, and not enough high points for me to continue. Also, that stupid plot twist about time travel, just fucking dumb.
I wouldn’t say the series is bad per say. The gameplay, for the most part, does have some fun times. It’s really after KH1 in which the series really gets out of hand in terms of its story telling. It takes itself way too serious on many occasions.
