That Korean streamer's father passed away a year before, he had a real connection with Joel and to see him be ended like that.........

Lord of the Rings actor the actor who played as Bilbo Baggins has passed away.
This reminds me of the plot synopsis of I Saw the Devil, a South Korean revenge thriller. That film excels at showing and reminding us that revenge is a horrific ordeal while not undermining the protag's struggle at the same time. There is fulfilment of revenge in the film but it leaves the protag absolutely hollow, and its possible that Naughty Dog has tried to incorporate that but they failed miserably in doing so.
Yo that movie is one of the funniest movies I ever saw. I know it's not meant to be funny but I find it hilarious.

I watched Angryjoe and friends play it last night on twitch. The worst part of the game is actually the pacing. The story keep switching from Abbie to Ellie without anything interesting actually happens in every chapter. In addition, there was a lot of exploration that feel so empty and long, it was so boring. Even Other Joe was struggling to get excited about the play.
It didn't help the fact that they sucked at playing the game.

Probably a lot to do with the Anita Saarkisan influence and the fact 70% of the developers at Naughty Dog left the company in the last couple of years. They clearly had their reasons but I’m sure working on material like this was probably a big part of it.
I believe Neil Druckman said he would rather us passionately hate the game than forget it . If I'm not mistaken .
