Johnny FRICKEN Bench
Am I the only one that feels that the Nationals' sweep of the Cardinals (and this entire playoff run in general) is a big "Screw You" to Bryce Harper?
By the way, I can't stand the guy and I couldn't be happier that the Nats have made the World Series.
The Rock'n'Roll Aristocracy He didn’t do anything to deserve the hate or a big “Screw You”. Fuck off
The Cardinals didn’t deserve that just because Bryce Harper😢😢😭
No, because Harper wasn't even the WAR leader of the Nats last year, and the Nats also actually signed more money worth then Harper's contract. There was a great article by MLB.com on how Harper feels.
How right you were
You should do an offseason prediction for each team
Or a free agent tier list
I am a Phillies fan and you should know Mike Schmidt is 20
Thank you
Shut up u little salty nugget
Having grown up in the 80's I think I yelled the most at Sandberg, Schmidt, and Bench, getting half in a time limit is impressive though especially since you knew some but couldn't spell the names which is understandable, you should do a video by the way with your predictions of numbers that will sure to be retired in the coming years for every team, as a Phillie fan I think, 6, 26 and 11 are going to be gone in the next few years.
It’s not the off-season just because the Mets are done lol
jamie heidman yes it is
metsrock522 Baseball is being played.
Keep these quiz videos coming, they are awesome
Jacob Webb I agree
Hard quiz for the time allowed. Even 20 minutes would have been tough.
Its not that bad. He did it wrong
Marc u should start doing rebuilding videos for each team either on MLB the show or just go over what each team needs to become good in depth.
I love when you do quiz videos because I love knowing stuff like this
Daaa Jankees just lost
Emperor Palpatine as a yankees fan we've been terrible
Yankees fans are terrible saying Houston sucks. No class at all
Another list video
Another 15 seconds of mark trying to spell Yastrzemski
is it just me, or when he said that the vid was about guessing retired numbers, I thought for a second that the answer would be 1, 2, 3, 4...
So did I 😂
🤣🤣
Johnny Oates was the Rangers manager when they won their first divisions in the '90s.
Hey Marc, Watching your videos make me so happy
Calebaseball me too!
The Nate are on 🔥
Nats
@@ejpearson3814 just edit the damn comment
Açaí Açaí and Ryder Calhoun why u bully me
@@ejpearson3814 you could've made your life easier and change one word instead of 4
Al Kanline Was Like the Best Tiger Wtf
Hey look that’s what I got on my physics midterm
Sporcle is one of my favorite sites on the internet! I absolutely wear my 127/202 on this quiz with pride.
"Johnny Oates? Never heard of that player in my life."
Does Texas Rangers manager from 1995-2001 ring a bell? He was the first manager to lead us to a postseason appearance, making it in 1996, 98, and 99 during his tenure. He also shared the AL Manager of the Year award with Yankees manager Joe Torre. Before becoming a manager, he played catcher for many different teams - most notably for the Baltimore Orioles.
My birthday is today Marc I love ur vids!!!!!!
Yo, Marc could you do free agent predictions or two players each team should get this offseason. FYI love your videos best CZcamsr ever.⚾️
While you were on the Astros just before you got Mike Scott, I was thinking you should get Mike Scott. In 1986 the Mets and Astros played the NLCS. Mets of course won it in six games. But Scott pitched so good in his two games (the two games the Mets lost) that he got the NLCS MVP even though he was on the losing team.
I don’t watch baseball at all, and I have little interest in the sport, but I find myself watching ALL your videos. Can you explain that to me?
Ryan Thompson sports makes life a bit better
Yes they do. I watch football and hockey religiously.
For the Cubs: "How about Brent Suter? No, Suter's not on there, interesting" lmao
Love your content
Honestly, i thought i did good with the Yankees getting Ruth, Mantle, Gehrig, Berra, Rivera, Jeter, Maris, Munson. Geez. I missed like half of them!
Overall, I only got 43%. And I even missed Tony Oliva for the Twins. Thats big because im a Twins fan.
I really like how you don’t bug people about your merch
You aren’t annoying about it
Trivia Tuesday sounds great
78%, but i'd be lying if i said i hadn't spent time trying to memorize them when i was much younger
Johnny Oates was the Texas Rangers’ manager....while they were getting their butts kicked in the late 90s by the Yankees’ late 90s dynasty teams.
Johnny Oates was the manager for the Rangers in the 90s and led them to a couple al west titles. Unfortunately he passed away pretty young in the early 2000's from a brain tumor But he was around to see himself inducted into the Rangers hall of fame
I got a 11%
Well Marco it looks like you beat me again. I only got 65/202.
I love this
Not getting Molitor, top 10 all time hits. Thought you weren't going to get Hammin Hank too!
455 for Cleveland. Fun fact about the Indians; the franchise retired the number 455 after the Tribe had 455 straight sellout home games back in the nineteen nineties between two stadiums. I’m sure most of you know that, but I think it’s really cool as an Indians fan.
"I don't know many good Phillies."
I'll say if you've never head of Mike Schmidt.
Steve Garvey and randy Jones
From the Orioles, the first one I wrote was Weaver. The only one I didn't get from them was Palmer and the only team I got full was the Mets
On the of season pls make a video on basketball or football I love you channel I would like you to make another type of video
"Johnny Oates Never heard of that player in my life..."
Because he was a manager.
You finally did what I’ve recommended for such a long time I kick ass at this quiz
You said you wouldn’t have gotten Johnny Pesky… you know the guy who has a foul pole named after him in Boston. I know these quizzes can be hard though if it wasn’t for the time limit they would be so much easier.
J.R Richard and Jimmie Foxx Drove me crazy 😝
Edit: Mike Schmidt and Johnny Bench
The fact that most guesses were players on this side of 2000 as opposed to the hundreds of Hall of Famers that weren’t guessed made me so stressed. Baseball history there is not here.
I pulled a 158, I missed a few here and there. A ton from the White Sox, Giants, and Cardinals. Also couldn't spell *Yastrzemski* I was perfect until Steve Garvey, But still impressed I got all the Reds players.
How do Lou Whitaker and Dwight Evans not have their numbers retired by Tigers and Red Sox respectively? They both have decent HOF cases and except for Evan's last season played every year for their respective clubs. Also, why did the quiz exclude the Expos / Nationals?
while you were on the cubs, i was yelling Greg Maddux at my computer/you
The Cubs ones hurt me so bad. I literally shouted Sandberg at the screen over and over
same bro
The test forgot MOOSE also known as 35 Mike Mussina on the Yankees
43/202 21% I cant believe i beat marc!!! Best day of my life lol. Thanks for the quizzes!
I got 30%, I'm terrible at these quizzes. I try to think of a thousand names all at once and I forget the obvious ones lol
Do best umpires at each position
Playing MLB the show helps out with this so much lol
You should do a video on Juan Soto vs Ronald Acura jr whose better
62% 125/202. I would've had more if I realized managers got their numbers retired too. I also would have had more if it weren't for the stroke.
I find this quiz a little easy because you just need to name good players on that team but still I don’t get 80+ percent because there is a lot of names
You should do that in the future to see if you get better
This one wasn't that hard, I think you just bombed it. I was yelling at you the whole time
GO STROS!!!
I got 33%, 67/202 (before watching the video), I had too many obvious ones missed like Reggie and The Mick .
Rangers 34 is the only one I knew for sure but I was yelling Nolan till he got it.
Johnny Oates was the manager for the Rangers who took them to their first playoffs, and died a few years ago because of cancer I believe
I got 23%. I at least got 1 for every team except the Blue Jays because every variant of Roy Halladay I tried was wrong so I moved on.
right when he said there’s managers on the list he misses earl weaver 🤦♂️🤦♂️
Nobody:
8yr olds in this comment section: FiRsT
Nobody:
Fucking everyone: the "nobody:" thing
FiRSt
says there’s gonna be some managers on there and completely misses tommy lasorda
So the Marlins haven’t retired anyone’s number? Other then the mandatory #42? Even the Rockies, the Diamondback and the (Devil) Rays have retired some numbers. RIP Don Zimmer, the last Brooklyn Dodger to wear a major league uniform (in the 90s, as a member of the Yankees and the Rays).
I wish the cardinals knew how to hit a baseball in the NLCS
110, and I missed a whole bunch of obvious ones. Definitely a frustrating quiz.
Hey Marc, watching your
How tf you miss Johnny Bench, Eddie Mathews, Lefty Grove, Enos Slaughterhouse, Rogers Hornsby.
I didn't beat you, but I beat the average, and I got all the Mets.
my guesses:
Ruth
Jeter
Rivera
Ryan
Biggio
Berra
Bench
Ortiz
Ripken
Mauer
Beltre
Who was yelling Nolan Ryan during Rangers
Who was yelling at him when he missed ryne Sandberg for number 23 on the cubs
Giraffe 6 is the great joe Torre.
For the Phillies you forgot Mike Schmidt, you can't forget Mike Schmidt.
interesting how the Marlins don't appear there even though they retired Jose Fernandez's number after he died
Do the every World Series challenge
No offense but I CRINGED when ever you didnt get some of the Pirates
Giants Gaylord Perry, John McGraw, Matthewson, Hubbell
94....yikes, that was tough.
I got 27%. Dont remember the exact number I got, but to be honest some of the players you automatically think k of when you see the team and numbers, my mind drew a blank. Like how do I forget Nolan Ryan. Like, I saw rangers and and I just drew a blank and sat there for like 2 minutes and just couldn't think of his name. So pissed when I ran out of time and went and looked. And also, how do I automatically think of pee wee reese from the dodgers but miss on the greatest pitcher of all time
Hodges 14 Marc!!!
Sporcle has one of every Hall of Famer
I like cats
Gil Hodges Marc cmon! He was a player and manager he hit the first hr for the Mets ever
Al Kaline just died Marc! Cmon cuh
Johnny Bench
Didn’t a guy suggest this on your stream?
For some reason I always think McCovey with the pirates too
Also I got 108
What the heck just happened? How do u type that fast. Does anyone else look at the keyboard still
Squid Dina I don't, yet I generally don't make too many mistakes.
Bobby cox also for braves
I got 30%. I'm a Yankees fan so I did get all the Yankees players.
Red Sox also retired Jason Varitek’s 33
Am I the only one who got scared when he said it’s Tuesday
“i thought it was brent suter!” bruhhh
Every rangers fan screaming Nolan Ryan
