I’m glad you are a survivor my son recently passed from testicular cancer that metastasized to his lungs. He had his testicle removed, had BEP chemotherapy, had all of his lymph nodes removed from his back. Then 6 months later it came back in his lungs so next he went through the apherisis process to collect stem cells to undergo high dose chemotheraphy in the hospital with stem cell transplant to recover from the strong chemo. He had to do 3 rounds of that each of which was a 2 week hospital stay. Then it’s time for more scans the lungs still showed disease so he began the next round of chemotheraphy which was going to be 5 rounds. He wasn’t able to make it through that cycle of chemo he had chemo damage to his lungs along with disease progression. He went into the hospital with a oxygen saturation of 50% and needed high flow oxygen in ICU all while Covid visitor restrictions were in place. We had to make arrangements with hospice to bring him home, there was nothing more they could do for him. He came home on the Saturday before Mother’s Day and died he 4 days later early on Wednesday morning. He fought hard and didn’t want to die but it wasn’t to be. The point to his story is never give up fight until the very end. I’m glad you are a survivor.
I feel for you, thank you for your story. My son goes in tomorrow for his surgery, and we are praying for a good outcome. I am so sorry about your son, and I know you will be better with time. It is hard.

@@gerRule Living a relatively normal life, still haven’t had any surgery, just watching it with doc every few months, been over a year and it hasn’t grown, so things are ok, thank you 🙏🏻

your story is almost identical to mine! I have a video too if you're interested in watching it. I am amazed at how many similarities exist between us!
Testicular cancer survivor here too. In a strange way I feel blessed to have been presented with cancer but to have got through it. So many don't get that chance.
Hi I hope u will read this. I've noticed something wrong in my testicle When I touch my testicle on the left side my fingers can feel a small ball attach on it and I think this is a testicular cancer tumor. After confirming it myself by searching on google, I felt so afraid and nervous. I'm having a hard time wether I will tell my parents about this or not, I don't have the courage, I wish you could help me😭. Please share your experience, I need courage 😭
@@lovefelix798 It's not necessarily cancer but if it's not clearing up then you need to get it checked out so you know exactly what it is. It's good that you have acknowledged to yourself that something is wrong as a lot of guys initially bury their heads in the sand and convince themselves that they're either imagining that something is wrong or that it's something trivial and so don't do anything about it. I don't know what your relationship with your parents is like but if you're just worried about upsetting them then I can assure you they will feel a lot more upset if you hold off doing anything about it rather than telling them or if they find out about it from someone else. Parents like to feel that their children feel able to confide in them on any issue. Also, even if it is a malignant tumour, testicular cancer is one of the most curable forms of cancer there is with near 100% cure rate when caught at an early stage. No matter how scary getting help now is, believe me you don't want to be putting it off and then in a year from now finding yourself being diagnosed with a Stage 3 tumour and thinking to yourself 'if only I'd gone to the doctor sooner'.
@@splintercast8092 Thanks, I thoroughly checked it again and it feels like a cyst attached atop of my testicle, and I searched in internet for more information and I found information about spermacotele which is not cancerous and its probably what I have right now but I still want to be sure so I told my parents and the outcome was just fine, deffirent from what I've expected. There is still covid going around here in my place so I can't go to any hospital yet, maybe after covid is fully eradicated I can finally proceed my checkup.

Did you get it checked out? I hope you did. There are multiple other vital organs in the scrotum that can seem scary if you don't know what to look for. Either way if you ever feel anything not right or aren't sure inform your folks and see your doctor. Better to be overly cautious.
I'm going thru this now.... They took out the testicle but.... it was the bad one. I was told most of the time it's siminoma and yer done when it's out.... Not mine...I have the non siminoma....
I hope I have a survival story after all this is done but i'll tell ya. It's scary as fuck.

@@gerRule Just had 25 lymphnodes removed cause it spread there too but chemo didn't kill them there...there teratoma tumors resistant to chemo....This surgery is the worst. recovery slow and painful
