How are you going to be worried about blue light when your going to have an electronic screen an inch away from your eyes (which will produce blue light itself)
well this year, I bought the latest pro model for its lidar sensor to develop some high quality AR applications with, but am looking forward to their VR headset too and am interested to see how it will compete with existing ones on the market!
My 2022 Apple purchase was my iPhone 13 Mini! With the Mini being rumored to be nixed from the 14 line in favor of a larger model, I decided this was the perfect year for me to upgrade from my iPhone XS. I love it so far!
I’m thinking about getting a MacBook soon so I can work with Logic Pro for music stuff. The AR glasses would be cool, in theory, but I would probably wait a few years after they come out just to let them work out the initial errors.
I will definitely buy the apple glass on 2022 if they come out cause I was always interested on AR stuff. The only concern is what about prescription inside them? Will they work or are they supposed to be on top of my regular glasses to compensate for this?
I think that it would be awesome if you were able to input your eyeglass Rx into the glasses iOS so that the system would be able to compensate for your vision. It would be great to actually be able to see 2020 with these glasses AND be able to use the tech as well. I am interested in buying a MacBook pro, or an Imac pro.
This was my initial thought. Having my prescription integrated into these augmented lenses would beneficial for my life work and experience as a consumer.
Any features that would assist people with low vision or blindness would be great. Apple already has a few features that enable the visually impaired to be more independent and participate in daily activities that most people take for granted. I would definitely purchase these glasses.
an adjustable zoom feature would be great for people who can't properly see longer distance or read far away signs without the need to take the phone out. Apple is great with gestures so I can imagine features working with certain configured face expressions
Looking at the all black glasses & then seeing the gold & brown, the gold & brown is def a no-brainer. Dope color for sure. U throw on a pair of those glasses & automatically u start feeling like the Terminator or Inspector Gadget

Sort of, you've also been disproportionately harmed by their design philosophy. They're the reason why so many buttons that were needed for use of a product without looking at it disappeared. I'm fortunate enough to usually be able to see, but it's a right pain in the backside to have to point the eyes I don't like using at the device that I used to be able to use without looking at it.
This glasses will be a whole vibe! Love the design and what we will be able to do with them! But this year I'll buy an MacBook or an iPad, depending on what the new MacBook Air will bring to the table.

I'm learning quite a bit (take it from someone that had the original mac when it came out)! Now if Apple only hits the shortcuts bug that prevents people from filtering sources in the health app - hopefully that will be released sooner. Lots of people complaining. Keep up the fantastic work you are doing. I shared this to my friend that is an apple fanboi-from being the first with an iMac to literally every new phone/watch. He owns the first ipad mini and just bought the latest.

Honestly I'm not a fan of Apple software or Hardware due to it being so locked down but the Apple tracker impresses me quite a bit I would plan to buy it if a 3rd party adapter ever came out for Android devices

If the Apple Glasses really include the feature that automatically adjusts the lens according to the needs of your eyes, that would definitely be the product I buy as soon as it comes out. Otherwise, I'm waiting for the iPhone 14 Pro due to software features that my current iPhone is too old for.
I would be very interested in buying Apple glasses as long as they were useful, and not just novelty. I am excited to find out. I feel like I’m the only person in the world who feels this way, but I thought the google glass demo/commercial from 2012 looked really neat. If it could just meet that level I’d be happy. If it did the whole “floating screen” thing where I just did my need a phone, you could charge whatever you want.
Some of us wear reading glasses and some cannot do without them. Is apple making the lens adjustable so that it can accommodate such persons? What about the sun glare are you including timing the glades. Is the frame adjustable and durable? The new features should consider this element.
It is hard to believe Apple will be bringing glasses. Although there is something they need to do that should be disruptive like iPhone. Its been a while we have seen some trend shifting innovation from them. I will definitely watching this development. Not ready to buy that yet. Will definitely upgrade to the new iPhone in the fall though.

Certainly buying the Apple Glasses if they are indeed released in 2022 - maybe I’ll even sell my other Apple products to afford it. Optimally, I can see this beta coming soon if these dates here were reasonably compiled, & I’ll get on that list THE MOMENT it’s announced for production beta.
I have a few concerns. The first, wearing what’s effectively could be a camera and if that camera is uploading it’s feed to a cloud that’s constantly running and inadvertently recording people without their permissions. How would this apply to consent laws in countries and states and how is that data being managed. While the concept is very cool, it’s turning everyone into a walking surveillance device. If the device doesn’t have a camera recording your surroundings and every waking moment, it probably will. I’m all for innovative tech, but I’m also for some privacy, but with products like these, they’re probably going to use it to create a facial scanning data base from the data pooled from these glasses and derive statistics to sell to 3rd parties. I could be wrong, but we shall see.
This is what I also said. What if you go into a police station and record secret documents? What if you go to court and record everything? What if you have intercourse with a girl and then record it? Like this is a serious potential problem
lol, man people need to get over this quick! You have to assume these days that the moment you leave your house, you're being recorded. There are literally cameras EVERYWHERE! We traded our privacy a long time ago for convenience my friend. Do I like it? not always, but that is the world we live in. I think it is well worth the trade off. Police officers are usually wearing a body cam and they arent running around asking everyone for consent. lol I hear what you are trying to say, but you need to just accept that you are always being recorded... even without consent. I mean Jesus it's 2022 man, what did you think would happen, we would go backwards.
Thats the bigger worry with facebook as they track and milk all of the data they can get their hands on, apple on the other hand respects your privacy and I don't that would be an issue.

I’d definitely take these into consideration. As a avid traveler I would love to live stream say strolling down Copacabana beach hands free just using my Apple Glasses. With most tech I would prefer to wait for the second or third gen before I jump in but we will see how this all goes.

It will be like the first iphone, when the first iphone came out it was so special for ppl because before the first iphone everyone used blackberrys & nokias. The first iphone had a biggee screen and you could touch it without a keybord. Now the apple glasses will also be so special for people because you see it in front of you.
Haven’t watch through yet, so maybe it’s mentioned, but being able to use a prescription for these lenses.. or even cooler a digital rendering of a given lens prescription would be extremely cool.. oh and if you could change the tint of the lens that’d be nice

prescription lenses are already pricey by themselves, on top of ground breaking AI tech I'd imagine it would be much higher price than any of the phones previously released.
I would think that by using the cameras that the iOS could be able to compensate to your eyeglass Rx by inputting your Rx into the system and allowing the cameras image so you can see 20/20.
Lol so apple is gonna give me 20/20 vision? Highly doubt, the lens will be high as a kit. It’s already expensive to get lens for raybans let alone digital glasses.

I will definitely be purchasing the glasses once they release, probably will wait for the second version though. It just seems too big of a technology to not get involved in.

Honestly I'm not a fan of Apple software or Hardware due to it being so locked down but the Apple tracker impresses me quite a bit I would plan to buy it if a 3rd party adapter ever came out for Android devices

If the Apple Glasses really include the feature that automatically adjusts the lens according to the needs of your eyes, that would definitely be the product I buy as soon as it comes out. Otherwise, I'm waiting for the iPhone 14 Pro due to software features that my current iPhone is too old for.

I would be very interested in buying Apple glasses as long as they were useful, and not just novelty. I am excited to find out. I do wish they would make an iPhone with a stylus, as I do like to write notes. I also wish the Apple Watch had a much better battery life then it does. Great channel! Thanks for the great info!

I feel like I’m the only person in the world who feels this way, but I thought the google glass demo/commercial from 2012 looked really neat.

I think google with the lens were ahead of its time. Just like touch screen laptop in the early 00s never kicked of until the iPad about 8 years later
Some of us wear reading glasses and some cannot do without them. Is apple making the lens adjustable so that it can accommodate such persons? What about the sun glare are you including timing the glades. Is the frame adjustable and durable? The new features should consider this element.

It is hard to believe Apple will be bringing glasses. Although there is something they need to do that should be disruptive like iPhone. Its been a while we have seen some trend shifting innovation from them. I will definitely watching this development. Not ready to buy that yet. Will definitely upgrade to the new iPhone in the fall though.

A mini map and also features like the time, temprature and a notifications indicator I think would be amazing when just using them in a 'standard standby' mode

I have a few concerns. The first, wearing what’s effectively could be a camera and if that camera is uploading it’s feed to a cloud that’s constantly running and inadvertently recording people without their permissions. How would this apply to consent laws in countries and states and how is that data being managed. While the concept is very cool, it’s turning everyone into a walking surveillance device. If the device doesn’t have a camera recording your surroundings and every waking moment, it probably will. I’m all for innovative tech, but I’m also for some privacy, but with products like these, they’re probably going to use it to create a facial scanning data base from the data pooled from these glasses and derive statistics to sell to 3rd parties. I could be wrong, but we shall see.
This is what I also said. What if you go into a police station and record secret documents? What if you go to court and record everything? What if you have intercourse with a girl and then record it? Like this is a serious potential problem
lol, man people need to get over this quick! You have to assume these days that the moment you leave your house, you're being recorded. There are literally cameras EVERYWHERE! We traded our privacy a long time ago for convenience my friend. Do I like it? not always, but that is the world we live in. I think it is well worth the trade off. Police officers are usually wearing a body cam and they arent running around asking everyone for consent. lol I hear what you are trying to say, but you need to just accept that you are always being recorded... even without consent. I mean Jesus it's 2022 man, what did you think would happen, we would go backwards.
iPhones could do that today. It's not because it's in another object the camera will be recording 24/7

Thats the bigger worry with facebook as they track and milk all of the data they can get their hands on, apple on the other hand respects your privacy and I don't that would be an issue.

I’d definitely take these into consideration. As a avid traveler I would love to live stream say strolling down Copacabana beach hands free just using my Apple Glasses. With most tech I would prefer to wait for the second or third gen before I jump in but we will see how this all goes.

It will be like the first iphone, when the first iphone came out it was so special for ppl because before the first iphone everyone used blackberrys & nokias. The first iphone had a biggee screen and you could touch it without a keybord. Now the apple glasses will also be so special for people because you see it in front of you.
Haven’t watch through yet, so maybe it’s mentioned, but being able to use a prescription for these lenses.. or even cooler a digital rendering of a given lens prescription would be extremely cool.. oh and if you could change the tint of the lens that’d be nice

prescription lenses are already pricey by themselves, on top of ground breaking AI tech I'd imagine it would be much higher price than any of the phones previously released.
I would think that by using the cameras that the iOS could be able to compensate to your eyeglass Rx by inputting your Rx into the system and allowing the cameras image so you can see 20/20.
Lol so apple is gonna give me 20/20 vision? Highly doubt, the lens will be high as a kit. It’s already expensive to get lens for raybans let alone digital glasses.
