I remember reading how men needed to know how to read, write, and debate in ancient languages to even be considered for higher education. Now students can throw tantrums and skip classes for days to weeks and still earn a degree. As standards deflate, grades inflate. I hope employers know to look beyond these diplomas to find the young people who still have a work ethic, critical thinking skills, and sound mental health. Christians in Gaza are calling for help, warning they are on the verge of extinction. The West is silent
    March 14 at 13:08
Palestinian Christians in Gaza face the threat of extinction due to ongoing Jewish massacres. They appeal to the Christians of the world asking for help and attention.
However, the ruling regimes in the West, which are under de facto Zionist occupation, have strictly censored any mention of the tragic situation of Christians in Gaza.
In this regard, Turkish media have pointed out that the West's silence on the plight of Christians following the Jewish massacre in Gaza stands in stark contrast to the Western outrage expressed just a few years earlier over attacks on minority Christian communities in Iraq and Syria.

These impressionable young people have been duped into thinking they are merely advanced apes with no purpose and life itself has no purpose. They suddenly find themselves gathered together for a purpose and for a cause greater than themselves individually and it awakens them to fellowship and common belief and it's extremely gratifying and satisfying. The truth of the matter is not important nor are the details, it's the gratification and fellowship. Questions and truth are seen as threatening, because they could destroy this pleasure party. The last thing they want is something that may ruin the first and only thing they've ever put their heart and belief in that is bigger than themselves. They love worshipping their own virtue and giod deeds. To them, good is what they deem good. They have no use for God, they have created heaven on earth and the are the masters of what is good and righteous.

I'm with you on this. When Jesus died on the cross he took our sin and gave us HIS righteousness. I have a theory that deep down people want to be righteous, but rather than accepting God's righteousness they become SELF righteous. They are deceiving themselves by a form of narcissism. They jump on any bandwagon that happens to be around and scream "look at me, am I not better than you?". The ultimate enemy of course is Satan....and he finds easy footsoldiers for his campaign.

Modern day Palestinians (“al-Filasṭīniyyūn /‎ alfilastiniuwn - الفلسطينيون,“ “Fālasṭīnīm - פָלַסְטִינִים,” or Palestinian people “ash-sha‘b al-Filasṭīnī - الشعب الفلسطيني“ in Arabic and Hebrew, a demonym with origins in the toponym “Palaistī́nē - Παλαιστῑ́νη” etymologically related to the Greek term “palaistês - παλαιστής”meaning “wrestler” being a more literal translation of the Hebrew name Israel “Yīsrāʾēl - יִשְׂרָאֵל” meaning “one who wrestles with God”) are just the descendants of culturally Arabized Mizrahi Jews, Samaritans, Druze, Assyrians, Arameans, and other communities local to the region that never left and converted to Christianity or Islam as opposed to the ancient Philistines (a.k.a. “Phulistieím - Φυλιστιείμ,”“al-Flistiun / alflistiun - الفلستيون,“ or “Pəlīštīm / Palishtim - פְּלִשְׁתִּים“) who were the ones in conflict with the Israelites (a.k.a. “Children of Israel - Bənēy Yīsrāʾēl - בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל”) in biblical times but have been destroyed/fully assimilated into surrounding communities with no known cultural trace extant in the modern day, as well as opposed to most modern day Israelis (“Yīśreʾēlīm - יִשְׂרְאֵלִים“) who are mostly Jews (“Yehudim - יְהוּדִים“) from other parts of the diaspora who came back to the Israel-Palestine Region through the Aliyah immigration process, Palestinian Jews who were already there but overtime assimilated into the dominant Israeli society, and those who continue to either be Religious Jews (practitioners of the religion known as Judaism) or Secular Jews (who are cultural Jews that are religiously atheist, agnostic, irreligious, or practitioners of New Age Mysticism/Pagan Spiritualism) with Jewish Christians being a minority who’s Jewishness is always being questioned at the hands of Secular and Religious Jews in the dominant Israeli society and some Palestinian Samaritans, Druze, Assyrians, Arameans, Israeli Arabs, and Armenians of Israel and Palestine who so happen to gain Israeli citizenship although treated as second-class citizens by the dominant society. [In most cases due to this shared ancestry of both Palestinians and the Mizrahi Jews that never left, as well as the rest of the Jews that came back to Israel through Aliyah, they’re all collectively the descendants of the Israelites, the difference being their religion and modern cultural background]. Palestinians are generally treated like stateless residents or in some cases second-class citizens by the majority Zionist extremist Secular (a.k.a. Irreligious) and theocratic Religious Jewish leadership in the government of Israel that gives Religious Jews, Secular Jews, Ashkenazi and some Sephardi Jews of the European diaspora preferential treatment at the expense of Christians (both Palestinian and Jewish Christians) , Muslims, Palestinians, Samaritans, Arabs (Arab includes indigenous populations that adopted Arab culture just like the term Latino), Ethiopian Jews (Beta Israel) of the Horn of Africa diaspora, Armenians of Israel and Palestine, Assyrians, Arameans, Druze, other local communities, as well as Mizrahi and some Sephardi Jews of the Middle Eastern and North African diaspora or those that can’t overtly pass as being part of the European/White branch of the Jewish diaspora.
Israel and Palestine need to work together to reintegrate each other into a one state multi-ethnic and religiously pluralistic secular (a.k.a. non-sectarian) country, a Republic of the Holy Land, like the United States, Canada, and other such countries where all people regardless of ethnicity or religion are (ideally) afforded equal civil rights, civil liberties, protections, and a right to full citizenship status.
T/Racist Ashkenazi-Jewish-Supremacist regime tokenizes Mizrahi Jews (Jews that never left Middle East-North Africa) & Ethiopian Jews (African Jews) but treats ‘em less worse than Palestinians/Arabs.
Zionism was originally an Ashkenazi Jewish (European) Supremacist movement, they only let in Mizrahi Jews (Middle East-North Africa), & Ethiopian Jews (Black/African) just to tokenize them.
      -
There are a fair amount of Christians within the overall Palestinian population, most of which are within the Palestinian diaspora overseas (as opposed to the larger vocal Muslim population that stayed in Palestine), many of them fled as refugees because both Ha**s (an Islamic theocratic t******* group) and the Israeli government (a Jewish ethno-nationalist theocratic state) don’t like Palestinians and Christians, among several other groups. Also keep in mind that “There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” (Galatians‬ ‭3:28‬ NIV) in regard to the way God sees all Christians whether they be Jewish Christians or Gentile Christians such as the Palestinian Christians; God does not see the life of a Palestinian (especially that of a Palestinian Christian) as having less worth than that of a Jew or any Jew (especially a Secular or Religious Jew that denies the Gospel and the divinity of Christ Jesus the Messiah as Son of God); the Israelites/Jews were the Chosen People of God in the past, they still may be in terms being the ones to first receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ first, but under the New Covenant, they are no real difference between a Jew and a Gentile, and the non-Christian Jews today such as the Secular Jews and Religious Jews today are (at the very least boarder line) not much different from the atheists and pagans who reject who we Christian call “God the Father” (Secular Jews who deny the existence of God or worship false gods/idols), and from the Muslims that worship the false god they believe to be what Christians call “God the Father” but simultaneously reject His fatherhood, the Holy Spirit, and the divinity of Christ Jesus the Messiah (Religious Jews that deny Jesus), respectively aren’t anymore holier or more chosen than that of a Christian whether they be a Jewish Christian or Gentile Christian.
      ------
Israel is a Jewish ethno-nationalist theocracy, the government and the society doesn’t actually like the Christians that live under their rule which includes both Palestinian Christians and Israeli Christians, they just like the monetary, ideological, political, and diplomatic support certain American Christian groups give them.
      -
H**** doesn’t really care about the Palestinian people. H**** is just using the Palestinian people as human shields knowing full well that even on a good day/slow day let alone during a massive attack, the Israeli government doesn’t care about civilian casualties on the Palestinian side and will take it out on innocent civilian non-combatants. It’s basically a Jewish ethno-theocratic state and an Islamic theocratic t******* group fighting each other with the average person in Israel and Palestine getting stuck in the crossfire.
The last election Palestinian Gaza had was in 2005/2006 when H*m*s was a lot less radical than it is today. Today, since the end of 2005/2006 all elections in Gaza have been suspended and as of 2023 most of Gaza’s population are very young people - they were either small children or were never born yet at the time of H*m*s’ rise to power and had never voted in an election before.
The majority of Palestinians living under the H*m*s regime today were not even alive yet during the election. Also the H*m*s back then proclaimed to be pro-democratic while the only other viable party, the Fatah (a member of what today is known to be one of the last remaining non-sectarian and democratic coalitions known as the Palestinian Liberation Organization-PLO/Palestinian Authority-PA), wasn't seen as doing enough for pre-2006 Palestinians of Gaza; while a majority of Palestinians of the West Bank, who have had the relative freedom to vote in elections for Palestinian representatives, voted for Fatah and the PLO/PA but live under the occupation of an Israeli military dictatorship where their elected Palestinian Government has no power to do anything. And even then, H*m*s never got a majority of the votes even back in 2006. It was only a plurality.
The median age in Palestine before the war is about 18, meaning most Palestinians are children.
How many people over 35 are there now, do you think? Of whom 44% of those WHO VOTED for H*m*s? And that's before pointing out that collective punishment is still A Bad Thing and a genocidal crime against humanity.
      ----
The Israeli government is really corrupt, it’s known for discriminating against Christians (both Israeli & esp. Palestinian Christians).

@@heavenbound3665 Romans Chapter 11: In its New Covenant context... There is no Plan B of salvation outside of the New Covenant Church in this passage. Plan A is found in verses 23 and 24.
In Romans 1:16 Paul said the Gospel was taken "first" to the Jews. This time period can be found in Matt. 10:5-7, and Acts 10:36-38, and Gal. 1:14-18. Many try to claim God never gave the Jews a chance to accept Christ, so there must be some Plan B of salvation before or during the Second Coming of Christ. Romans 1:16 proves they are wrong, since Paul said the Gospel went "first" to the Jews. Many ignore the fact that Peter addressed the crowd as "men of Judea", and as "men of Israel", and as "all the house of Israel" on the Day of Pentecost, when about 3,000 Israelites accepted the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary. The Gentiles were not grafted in until several years later. This passage proves Paul was right about the Gospel being taken "first" to the Jews.
Were all of the Israelites "partially" hardened in Romans 11, or were part hardened and another part were not hardened? The answer is found in the "remnant" of Romans 11:5.
Paul reveals two different groups of Israelites in Romans 9:6-8. There is an Israel of the promise, and an Israel of the flesh. This is part of the context of Romans 11.
Paul speaks about the "remnant" of Israel in Romans 9:27. This is also part of the context of Romans 11.
Paul starts Romans 11 with two different groups of Israelites. In verse one Paul reveals he is still an Israelite, even after his conversion. Then Paul refers to two different groups of Israelites during the time of Elijah. There were the Baal worshippers, and there was the faithful "remnant". In verse five Paul says there is also a faithful "remnant" of Israelites during his time. This must be the Israelites who have accepted Christ, as on the Day of Pentecost.
Paul uses the two olive trees as a symbol of the New Covenant Church made up of believing Israelites, and believing Gentiles grafted together into the same tree. The unbelieving Israelites have been broken off but can be grafted back in through faith in Christ in verses 23-24.
Verse 26 is the problem for many modern Christians. What does the verse actually say, and how is it changed by many in the modern Church.
I have heard two of our nations famous preachers say the following.
"And then all Israel will be saved..."
I have heard another say the following.
"And all Israel will be saved..."
What does God's Word, recorded by the Apostle Paul actually say?
Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
The English word "so" is translated from the Greek word "houto", which is an adverb of manner, instead of an adverb of timing. Some have changed the word from "so" to "then", in order to change the meaning of the verse.
How will all of the "remnant" of Israel from Romans 9:27 be saved? The answer is found in the verses that precede verse 26 and are found below.
Rom 11:23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
Rom 11:24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?
Paul quoted from the OT in referring to the Deliverer coming out of Sion to pay for sin. Did this happen at Calvary, or will Jesus die again for His people in the future?
Rom 11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
Verse 28 can only be understood by looking at how Paul started the passage. He started with two different groups of Israelites and he ends the passage in the same way. There are two different groups of "they" in verse 28. One group of "they" reject Christ and are the enemies of God, and another group of "they" are the election which accept Christ through hearing the Gospel and faith.
Rom 11:28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.
Based on Luke 21:24b-28, the times of the Gentiles comes to fullness at the Second Coming of Christ. This agrees with what Paul said in Romans 1:16 about the Gospel going “first” to the Jews.

Exactly. This guy is a creationist that believes that Noah's flood actually happened. Christianity needs to adapt to the times or risk disappearing. Judaism has done well in that department. I am an observant Jew and an atheist. Judaism cares more about what you do than what you believe. I don't have to believe that the commandments were handed down to Moses by G*d in order to follow them. As long as Christians keep denying reality and not accepting LGBT folks, their numbers will keep dwindling.

The podcast is "America's Mayor Live" and I highly recommend it. As a U.S. Attorney Mr. Giuliani took on the Mafia, including heads of the "Five Families." He was tough on crime as Mayor, leaders of other countries asked for his help to deal with crime. He said any foreign student in these protests would get deported under his leadership.

"I remember attending a pro-Israel hasbara (propaganda) workshop over forty-five years ago that strongly encouraged, as a response to critics of Israel, accusations of antisemitism. Don’t focus on the argument, we were told, but, rather, discredit the person making the argument by accusing them of antisemitism. Accusations of antisemitism directed at Palestinians and supporters of Palestinian rights are not new and have been a strategy of Israeli government and pro-Israel hasbara for decades.
One of the most visible iterations of this phenomenon currently is the controversial International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) definition of antisemitism. Promoted by Israel’s right-wing government and its supporters, and adopted by the U.S. and other western governments, the IHRA definition goes full speed in conflating criticism of Israel and support for Palestinian justice with antisemitism."

@@davidfarr1976 no apology needed. My understanding of scripture is greater than any one verse or chapter or book or even testament. God is never in conflict therefore his word is never in conflict. My understanding of a single verse must align with ALL of God’s word. I will reiterate my understanding of God’s Israel. God called Jacob Israel, not Esau. In very simple terms, who is Israel? If we don’t agree on the son of promise not flesh, the entire rest of the Bible will be interpreted differently. Beyond this prime starting point all the prophecy literature is littered with if then statements. Standard covenant or agreement language, if you do then I will. Who is God’s Israel? Those who have believing faith in God (John 14 is my foundational understanding of God). Furthermore God’s promises to national Israel have all been fulfilled. Solomon’s kingdom controlled all of God’s promised land, Jesus (Seed) is the fulfilled blessing to all nations. At the death and resurrection of Jesus, national Israel served its purpose. 70 AD is the final physical destruction of national Israel. Just as Noah’s ark is irrelevant after the flood. Jesus is our king and high priest and final and perfect sacrifice. All of God’s Israel was, is and will always be saved by His grace and our believing faith through Christ Jesus. No individual salvation through genealogy (the flesh). There is no lucky sperm club.
