it will be interesting to see how you go with MBS bindings.
Your foot position is the same as mine with both feet pointing forward (I mostly ride onewheels).
Mountain boarders seem to ride with the rear foot pointing back.
Another interesting option is freeboard S2 bindings.
It would be interesting to see a review of the freeboard S2 bindings on a 2 in 1 board. Cheers

Those close ups really show the attention to detail well. These wheels are still some of the nicest looking ones around from my point of view. Look forward to hearing your feedback once you get the bindings on it. I am really impressed with difference bindings make to my Propel.
I hate how boards are improving and becoming better looking like this, my wallet won't be able to keep up :D I love drop decks. But I hate the battery in the middle not that it interferes but its there and in some of my foots work space in a sense. I really want a gear setup. I love their enthusiasm but even my RC car with similar gears wear down. Very cool review. I'm okay without bindings, I rarely make jumps or go off road to the degree that I'd need it.
Another great review video! Board looks and performs very well, glad to see a new esk8 competitor in the game to force others to up their quality and value. This board would be at the top of my list if I were to get another board around the $2k mark.
Really excited to hear what a DIYer opinion on this. I can't imagine you'll be able to build something this good for the same price. A similar setup DIY I was researching was pushing $4k
Best way to beat that price is to use lipos in a pelican case, you can build a mountainboard fairly cheap compared to other builds

Reason for the plastic gear along with metal drive gear is to lower noise. I do not think it will wear out either.
I really hope so, they are super confident and have 1000s of miles to give them assurance.
Jesus prebuilt companies are going all out on the motor wattage claims, I doubt entirely that those are even rated for 12000w. Just realised their geardrive looks inspired by Lacroix also as well as their esc enclosure being inspired by Newbee Esk8.

ATV only. I could not use something like this as my daily driver with that big box between my feet - Not enough room to have my feet straight, something I do sometimes to keep them from tiring. Or quick body varial to switch .. or dancing if one's into it.
Can you sit/stand on the power box? I actually love butt boarding on my zeus. It's even better when I sit on my street skateboard on top of the eskate (in a bag so it doesn't move) for double kingpin action.

For future videos, there is a free program called Dioptra that can accurately estimate the angle and grade of hills. It makes a handy reference to test manufacturers claims.

Hey Scott, the Queensland government just introduced new laws in regards to e-scooters. Police can now fine you for speeding or not wearing a helmet. I’m not sure if electric skate boards are included in these new laws. I hope not.

Looks amazing…but how long do they last ? How strong is the back axle ? For all those jumps ..once bindings are fitted the thread on the axles strong enough for constantly changing the hubs /tyres bearings etc fits the little things that can ruin a ride … once you put bindings on does it become a mountainboard..i bet its a monster to carry……

The diameter of this shaft is 12mm, you may need to fit bearings.
Since the wheels are so good, it is suggested that you can use different tires, I think this is more reasonable.

Well it seems pretty awesome, but it ought to be for $2500. I'm not sure I believe the claim on those plastic gears though. Plastic isn't a great wear material, especially against weight and power. Still, seems like a beast and a half, tons of power and battery to go along with it
I feel like it not coming with bindings standard may have something to do with the lifespan of the plastic gears in their testing, mountainboards regularly are used for jumping so I’d imagine the claim holds less truth if you were testing that as well. Gear drives are starting to include polyurethane reinforcement in some designs to strengthen them in regards to landing impacts.
Accurately, this is a POM material, which is often used in engineering structures or mechanical gears because of its good mechanical properties and self-lubricating properties. The driving gear of Z1 is made of metal steel, and the driven gear is made of POM. In addition, the lack of standard Binding is mainly to consider that not all consumers have needs. It has nothing to do with the gear material I think.

The battery is packaged in 14S5P, and the cell is a Molicel P42A, which is probably the highest level of production cell.
Depending on your weight, you should be able to go over 70km.
As for the import or logistics problems in your country, I think the official staff should be able to give you the answer. All you have to do is visit their website, which has livechat's communication methods.
How does it compare to the Propel X4S?

It’s about 1kg heavier but feels a lot easier to move around and life up, I guess not having all that suspension makes it feel smaller
