In every video I feel like I am getting to know your family and the little cozy corners of your doll shop. Thanks again Rachel for sharing your beautiful Mom with us. ❤ My Mum recently divided up her enchanted Christmas Village between my Sister and my Son and I. It has 15 miniature buildings, people, trees and even blankets of snow. It is a treasured family heirloom and it gave her so much pleasure to share them with us. She will be able to see them every Christmas displayed in our homes. 💕

I am 63 now. Born Jan 1st My mom passed in 2020 at age 85. My Grandma passed away at age 98 in 2005. I really feel I am missing out not having a daughter. My sons are close in age so they played well together. My granddaughter is on the east coast. I am on the west coast. My granddaughter doesn't know much about me being so far. Thank you for sharing your mom, and her and your inspiration. Would love a part 2. Would like a pin also -Best Loved Bear. Love the bear's pink nose.

Loved this video so much...sharing your mom and the dolls and the shop she loved through your eyes..so special. Just an idea..maybe some of your moms tops/clothes can be made into Doll/Teddy Bear fashions or blankets for dolls? That way they could be on display in the shop. Just a thought. I put the infant outfits my babies came home from the hospital in on my Adora dolls that sit on the guest bed. I show our grandkids when they come visit...."this is what your daddy (our sons)/mommy(our daughter) wore when they were just a day or two old coming home from the hospital"! We all love that these newborn outfits have been around almost 40 years and they are on the dolls as we speak. Thank you for inspiring all of us doll lovers out here that it is a WONDERFUL hobby and we should all be proud to love our dolls. Awaiting Part 2!! 🥰

I've loved dolls all my life and learned LOADS about antique dolls from you. I wouldn't have begun collecting Robert Tonner dolls rather recently without viewing your videos.
As for those damaged dolls, you're absolutely on the mark! I own a Jumeau French Fashion who has a damaged face (repaired jaw) and two broken feet. Mademoiselle Jeanne Marie-Thérése is the heart of the true-antiques portion of my doll collection. And, as you explained to us, I acquired her quite inexpensively.
Because I can't afford an antique Bru Jne bébé for the time being, I continue to hunt for the remarkable antique reproduction Bru Jne dolls made by the late great NIADA artist Marianne de Nuñez. After serendipitously engaging in virtual letters with renowned doll artist Lynda Marx, I learned so much about Marianne and about many details about true-antique dolls and their costumes.
By viewing your videos, Rachel, I learned to investigate a doll after her or his soulful eyes would catch my eye. You've changed my life for the better because I now have many dolls -- from antique and antique repros to early-vintage Barbies and early-vintage Kens -- and teddy bears, and their collective presence not only bring beauty to my home but also have gotten me through so much!

My doll collection consists of modern dolls. However, after watching your video, you've ignited my appreciation for the antique and vintage dolls. Lost one of my brothers last year after surgery on his ear had an abdominal aneurysm that was not caught while he layed there in the ER for four days. It's been the worst three years of my life and you sharing a bit about your loss does help. Well I'll tell you I think my doll collection has almost doubled since my Mom died... my husband is actually noticing it 😅oops

I have a large collection of barbie’s that I get at thrift stores for $1 and I fix them up. All of my dolls come from the thrift store and I have some nice ones.

I have repro Bru and Jumeau dolls. My Mother outfitted them with velvets, satins and even antique laces. She sewed the outfits herself and I am blessed with some of her collection. She was a real stickler on keeping the fashions as they were in the 1800s. I cherish them. I also have collected many dolls over the years at around the same time my Mother started. She had all the Doll Reader.books from the inception of the magazine. I would love to talk to you and see your shop. I am about 3 hours south of you in CO. I'm only started on your video but I'm hoping your Mom also collected French fashion dolls. I love them so. I dont own one but they are incredibly beautiful. Someday ..❤❤❤

And your Mom paying $2,400.00 for the Bye Lo Baby Doll shop is about $7,628.92 in today's money!!! However, although it is always fun to see what a Doll is worth, I know you will NEVER sell your Mom's Bye Lo Baby Baby Doll👶👶👶 shop because the Dolls are worth way more than money itself👶👶👶👶👍👍👍!!! I so LOVE your Bye Lo Baby Baby Doll Shop too👶👶💖💖💖💖💖!!! Even your Hueback Doll figurine is really sweet💖💖 and I also LOVE the miniature baby bisque Doll in the stork💖💖!! And the African American Bru size 2 Doll is cute too❤❤❤❤❤!!! Would love to show you my 27" paper mache apollo lady...she has a gold spanish comb on back of her hair molded into head . I got her from an online auction a few years ago in PA and I'm pretty sure she was a museum deaccession she's pristine...wonderful hair.
