The Process
---------------------
Choosing proper typography and then customizing fonts is where we’ll start off. Each package will have its own unique brand identity (color palettes, fonts, style), but all of them will fit under a similar visual design language. Then, we’ll create custom illustrations for each of the labels. Finally, we’ll look at the layout design to give our information proper hierarchy and contrast for each package.
I’ll be using Adobe Photoshop 2023 for the entire process.

What computer program are you using?
I don't think I can name even one spice brand off the top of my head, but with this packaging I would instantly reconize the brand, and remember it! Really shows what good branding can do.

Tru but the thing is that manufacturing takes a lot of money.
So printing the labels of this products will a lot of money compared to the plain old just “SALT”.
And the thing is that mostly these are cheap so the profit margin is low.

Something I'm thinking about between the 3 designs is that the Red Pepper now feels slightly out of place with the others, as its packaging represents a desert with largely no relation other than heat, whereas the other two are representative of whats inside the jar. Would be cool if the other two followed that same identity, but all in all still a great design!
It still gets the idea across.
Didn't salt come from oceans, wtf is a salt mine 😢
@@shilpikvs2009 A lot of salt comes from mines. For example, Himalayan pink salt. *Sea salt* is what comes from oceans.
it’s sad how salt and oregano show where they come from in their logos, yet red pepper shows a desert (which isn’t where red pepper flakes come from at all)
The red pepper is my favorite design though

Ah, I love that you've brought back this style of video. I absolutely love how amazing the quality of your animated ones are, but this style feels more personal somehow. Could just be me ㅋㅋ I'm glad you're back and I'm looking forward to more!
This style is much easier for me to do as well, so I'll be able to make videos more often :)
The imperfection of the letters makes it feel so much better, these designs look awesome!

i love how honest you are with your design process, it’s nice to show that starting over is okay and sometimes you won’t be happy with what you invested time into, but it’s okay because it just encourages you to try something else! these look great :)

I like how authentic this video and your channel is, in general. In designing process, there are times that we realize that we are not doing any good in our design and we need to go back, reassess and improve it - just like what you did in the red pepper. I personally find it exhausting and I feel like I'm ruining my design... but once I became able to find the right stuff for my design it is very satisfying.
