Question: I'm your opinion do older homes have better bones or structure than new ones? It seems like new homes are built like Legos and will fall apart in the future. That is my biggest concern with new.

Not all old homes are built that well tho..plus the plumbing and electrical usually has issues

It depends on the home. The important thing is to do research on the property that you are looking to buy. Some of these old homes haven't been maintained well and there could be some mold or rot of the structure due to negligence. Or I have also seen that some homes are built in a way that are extremely hard to alter and if something fails like heating or plumbing it is very costly to redo.
Some new homes are built extremely well. Again, just do your research. Like you said a lot of new builds are quick and dirty and it seems like the love and care isn't there. But this is just a case to case basis.
Bottom line is if you have a property make sure you know what needs to be maintained and how often. You will save yourself a lot time, money and headaches if you maintain it well.
