- Here is a video compiling multiple games of Dark and Darker starting a Wizard from level 1 and getting your first extraction. Game after game we get more geared. We first start off in the goblin caves, then go to the ruins (duo map). This might be a stand alone video, or a part 2 coming soon. Hope you guys enjoyed and this helps you guys out getting to learn wizard! Zero to Hero has to be my favorite part of the game!

This is the perfect kind of content for this game. you get to see the loot and how it has an effect on gameplay. The insane fights help too ofc, that off the wall duke on the Barb was amazing.
i think it’s a shame that they’re gonna nerf loot, i really like being able to just play a couple goblin, get greens n maybe a couple blues and then doing a trios fighting people on equal terms.
If anything I think they should keep goblin caves the same, and nerf the others if they really want to nerf something. Letting goblin caves be the way to farm stuff if you want for quick runs doesn't seem like the end of the world.
I enjoy it aswell. One thought I had was, buffing loot for high roller, but also locking that loot, so it can only be used in a high roller lobby.

Yup you should be able to get enchantments to return your gear to you that costs gold so it's not just free loot return.

I really like this video. It seems thousand times more realistic than others, where they make 3k in 3 runs, which clearly won't be your typical run. This guy made like 600g in 2 runs, which is still really good, but also realistic. Keep it up man, you rock

I don't play, or even like this game. I will watch all of these zero to hero videos because you yourself make it interesting and entertaining. There are few content creators out there who can do that while making a helpful source of practical information, and it's pretty cool that you seem to be one of them.

These zero to hero vids are sick
You also can use 2-3 fireballs in your starting room to clear boxes/barrels - for example you can throw 1 into the group of stacked boxes, directly hit will break, others will become onehittable.

There's actually 2 doorway exits in goblin caves now. I havent played much recently so Im not sure if both can spawn at once but another one spawns at the goblin camps square

@@bagOfunk for how much do people buy it in trade? It's useless rn because the rolls on those purples are completely random and it's just as good as goblin merchant, with the exception of item rarity which doesn't do much

I kinda want to see a multiple episode series, where you take a character from zero to GOD. Like fully decked out, min maxed character. I feel like most videos I've been reccommended just end after a couple of dungeons. Not sure why. I don't know anything about this game, so maybe there's a good reason. Fun video though :)

@@lahnfear123 part of the game. Ideally, you have another set to swap into. It wont always be better players that get you. I've come in on the tail end of fights between geared players and finished off wounded survivors I had no business tangoing with. There's a thrill involved with going into the dungeons in your sunday's best as there's no guarantee you'll keep it.

I didn't realize it was possible to wreck doors in this game. I always thought they were a way to control rooms and enemies. That's... interesting.
Quarterstaff is my absolute favorite melee for casters. 1-2 hits boxes/barrels, 3 hits most mobs, 4 hit combo, and FUN
I made a agility and movespeed build last week and the quarterstaff was fucking wild with it
The range on it is poo-doo.

Hey, as a fellow wizard main I actually recommend taking off haste if you’re playing solos, I’ve realised that “haste / Invis” takes up too much time to cast its valuable time you need, change haste for an Ice bolt - keep the rest of the spells the same, it gives you a slow for fighters and rogues, high headshot damage, fast travel speed increasing range and being able to challenger a ranger at distance as they move so slow hitting them far away with ice is actually pretty easy, and then also allows you to keep your fireballs and zaps online for any follow up or finishing blow type deal.
It’s really made a difference in extracting! Give it a go you won’t be disappointed
Invis does give you a way to get mobs off of you which can be critical

do you become fully invisible with invisibility or can they see the purple ticks/tracer?
It is worth to use spells for farming mobs? Or is better kill them with mele weapon and let spells for player?
I wish I was good at this game. But it is fun to watch. :-)

I'm surprised you vendored the candy, only need 22 to get an epic you can get enough in around 3 rounds to get one. Seems like this would be alot of value in a zero to hero.

fun tip. you can deal magic damage to phantomized warlocks. they actually take like 50% more damage from it.
Yeah I was going to say the same thing. He def caught him with a nice fireball at the start which would have hurt since he was Phantomized. A follow up fireball while he was still Phantomozed and that Lock was done
There immune to direct damage i believe. So no zaps, just fireball and L strike.

This mans runs when he does goblin caves: chill, vibing, no full purple fighters or barbs with 50% magic resist
my goblin cave zero to hero runs on wizard: atleast 2 warlocks, 2 fighters with 50% magic resist and maybe the odd barbarian to slap you.
I agree with you, feels like atleast 70% of my games in the caves theres fully geared just bumrush you and kill you in 1-2 hits
