One thing I learned through these videos is that you often don’t get just one procedure, it’s readjustment, maintenance and I guess you start to wonder what else can you tackle to look prettier, thinner, better. So plastic surgery ends up far more expensive than one can think
Yessss! Often times it is recommended to see a therapist before getting any cosmetic procedures. PS is very addicting and if gone to far, often times fatal.

Good observation. It's not just a nose job for most people in the public eye. It's multiple procedures, upkeep with filler and Botox. I cannot imagine how horrifically painful the entire process is. I wish these unrealistic standards weren't impressed onto celebrities, and subsequently, impressed onto the public. It's not beneficial for anybody.
I guess normal people are stopped by the money, but famous rich ones are not, so they go easily and fast into the addiction territory.
Like, I really want to get some botox in some parts of my face, and I'd like some filler in my lips, but the procedures are expensive if done with a reputable plastic surgeon, so I will just get botox for a wrinkle between my eyebrows and that'll be the end of it.
A rich person doesn't have this problem, they will get all of these and much more, with no limits and there's always something to fix or to change to follow trends.

This is probably the one that saddens me the most. She’s verging on uncanny valley(especially with that ponytail face lift) to me and she’s been so beautiful. It also seems like she’s having trouble settling on a look and it’s probably not going to age well with the back and forth.
The price that Lorri quoted shocked the hell out of me, and that really helped to put it into perspective. She’s only been in the industry for a few years, and she’s already had more surgery than some celebs who are twice her age. 😔

I love SZA, but are all celebrities given the same script to read about denying plastic surgery? It’s not necessarily the publics business, but they do know that we can see them, right?
That's for the attention. By doing so, people will talk more about her and not forget her. Thus, the career is safe. That's quite a common trick for people who work in entertainment industry, I guess.
They get 'media training' to be taught how to talk in front of an audience/camera/microphone so that they never seem awkward. It doesn't really matter what they say a lot of the time as they put on a mask for the public.

One thing I keep learning from Lorry's videos is that these celebrities are always, to me, the epitome of beauty before they get any surgeries. I personally almost always prefer their "before" look, and find that the surgeries often make them appear much more mature, sometimes by a factor of decades. It's a reminder to me that natural born beauty traits, even if they are less "conventional" or "industry standard", are very valuable to me, and that's a good feeling to have.
To me, the gorgeous smiling, freckled, youthful photos of SZA from 2014 & 2015 epitomize youthful black beauty, and I feel that the industry is especially hard on women of colour.

I just saw her back in October. It was an awesome show. So, I’ve been a long time fan and for someone who doesn’t fit the beauty standard(me) I looked up to SZA because she expressed that in her music. It made me feel like I wasn’t alone in my insecurities. Now she has conformed to the typical beauty standard. I still love her music but I don’t look up to her as much as use too. No shade to her, it was her choice and it’s her body. I guess I always thought she was sort of empowering. Anyways, thank you for this video ❤

Her surgery was better up until now Teyanna Taylor has the best nose job she looks really good.
I think that a lot of celebrities may turn to plastic surgery initially because of a specific insecurity or perceived “imperfection” like a hump on the nose or a small chest. They may continue with subsequent procedures to balance out, complement or maintain the first change. But to me SZA didn’t have anything that stuck out as a flaw at all. Maybe she felt pressured to get surgery to help her career somehow but didn’t really know what to have done. It seems like there’s no direction or goal with her evolving look, the procedures have been all over the place. That’s why many commenters are mentioning the uncanny valley effect.
I appreciate the amount of research and effort you put into your videos. You are always very respectful to the subject and to your viewers. This young lady has every right to deny she has had anything done, but the change to her nose cannot be explained in any other way (unless 👽🛸😮). (anytime I can insert cute emojis, I will! She started off w great features I really think w just weight loss and an overall glow up she could’ve achieved a similar look to her procedures. I will say she looked so ethereal and had that soft type of beauty with minor alterations to original look in 2017/2018. I think she should’ve stopped there cuz the looks from that era were perfect! I think the bbl and the rest of the surgery post 2020 was a bit much but it does still fit her frame and ofc she’s still gorgeous!
This is really really sad. It would have been an amazing journey to see her become successful based on her talents and natural looks. We need to celebrate how we can transform from within than relying on artificial beauty to make that transformation possible. ❤

Thank you for doing this from a nuetral perspective. Its easy to judge from an unexposed life. I hope she becomes comfortable with her choices because life is too short and at the end of the day, she's still her and she's got a lot of good things going on ❤
I know a lot of people are going to say she looked better before and she should never had done anything, but first of all we have the right to do whatever we want or don’t want to our face and our bodies! And I can not begin to imagine how much these famous people are harassed about their looks by their team their managers, etc, to constantly have to improve themselves to be able to keep up with the public, we can’t even begin to imagine how much they have to care about their looks.
