Weather reporter's hungry dog interrupts live TV report looking for treats

- For any longtime viewers of Global Toronto, weatherman Anthony Farnell's reliable weather forecasts have become an institution...almost as much as his adorable pup, "Storm the Weather Dog."
Last Friday, a hungry-for-treats Storm invaded the set in the middle of Anthony's weather report, demanding treats even as Farnell was explaining to Ontarians what weather they would be facing that weekend, and discussed the dangers posed by Hurricane Ida further south.
Both consummate professionals, Anthony finished his segment without a hitch while Storm sated his hunger (and mugged a bit for the camera)...all in a day's work!

when the weather man pokes his head out the door and you're not sure if they're calling their dog or reporting the weather...

I live in Toronto and "Storm" has been part of Global news since the first day he popped his head up during a live broadcast. People in Toronto love him!!!

Love how the weatherman didn’t miss a beat and continued as if the dog wasn’t there. And kudos to Storm who didn’t make a sound. Most dogs bark if they are ignored. Very professional.

Easiest conversion if starting from Fahrenheit is to subtract 32 then divide the result by 2 to get the Celsius equivalent. (Actual formula has 9/5 not 2, but for mental math, 2 is close enough and will get you a rough approximation). Going from Celsius, multiply by 2 then add 32 to get Fahrenheit.

I think this was made during the covid time, a lot of people were doing their job from home so there are a lot of cute videos of their pet interrupting their broadcasts or video calls. 😊

So funny he's getting treats too. There is a weather forecaster Ann Lui in Vancouver on CTV who's two dogs were in the show for most of the pandemic because she was working from home. The audience loved them so much they make appearances off and on now.
