I met them when they came to Houston. Jon was so nice he stuck his hand right out to shake mine. He was so genuinely happy to see me I thought he was a fan of mine for a second there.

You can understand being fed up with constant fans bothering you. I would honestly love to meet Jon Mess though, he's one of my personal heroes.

Metal and hardcore vocalists are always quite soft spoken and reserved. I think it's because they use the music as an outlet for their confidence? Or they let all of their angst and anger and frustration out in the music so they're chilled out.
It is just unreal to hear him speaking like a normal dude haha. He’s truly a legend

He just has really good technique and knows how to healthily distort his voice.

he's all smiles. such a cool band, they've toured and grown up together and still genuinely seem to be loving it. my ex gf told me about these guys and she had been a fan from almost day one.. it must feel good seeing your hometown small band finally start getting some big attention. I wanna see them next time they play Sac watching Mingus drum is always fun.
