- I am part of a Facebook group called Makers of Mixed Media Art and Artist (link below) and each month they have a theme. This months theme was Over The Rainbow, I try to always think outside the box so this was my spin on it.

You have given me an idea to try. I really love to do colored pencil pictures. Next time I think I will do a background gel print. Let it dry. Cut main object that I colored. Then mod podge it together .

WOW!!!! That is gorgeous. The colors are perfect to fit the rainbow ( the yellow kinda got lost. But that's okay 'cause I'm not a big fan of yellow!) and the doodling, outlining or accents make it beautiful. I was anxious to see what you did with a coloring book page. I love to color but I've never even thought about something like this. It has inspired me to think "outside the box" on painting, coloring, and using the pages. TFS and for the inspiration. 😍😍😍

At first, I was skeptical about how this was going to turn out. Then, as you went on and added the details with the markers it really turned into something very beautiful and interesting.

I would have copied that design on watercolor paper and used watercolor paints and then doodled maybe on biggest parts. It is quite nice but I don’t have that much patience 😂
Oh and I needed patience for this one .
You can always use the pages in a journal. 😊
