So, I just recently read Star Wars Jedi: Battle Scars and after finishing it I was inspired to take a a closer look at the Inquisitorius that was established by Sidious and ran by Darth Vader himself to see how effective they really were at their job. That being hunting and killing the lucky few jedi who survived the infamous order 66. So, in today’s video, we will be taking a look at the origins of the Inquisitorius, their members, and how each typically fared in battles we’ve seen them in against their light-side counterparts, the Jedi.
Years before the end of the clone war, Sidious had laid the groundwork for his contingency plans should Order 66 fail to eradicate every Jedi. Knowing that the clones or whatever military group he created following their unceremonious retirement would not be able to hunt down and kill all the jedi, he planned to capture force sensitive children and train them in the ways of the dark side so when the time came, his soldiers could be unleashed upon the galaxy to hunt down and destroy any remaining Jedi Knights.
Not only this, but Sidious kept a watchful eye over the entire Jedi ranks during the war, on the lookout for any and all who had doubts about the order - knowing he might one day be able to sway them to his side. As Anakin was always his prize, the one who would join his side as part of the rule of two, his force sensitive recruits could never be considered Sith. And since his plans to capture force sensitive children was thwarted, this was his only option.
These former Jedi were not made into sith instead members of the Imperial Inquisitorius, stripped of their former identities, they were given the title of either brother or sister with a number to identify each individual. However, it seems they were still allowed to keep their names, just not allowed to refer to one another by them. While these numbers may seem important, they don’t actually mean anything and are not meant to be used as a form of rank, skill, or power level. - Zábava

@@Galberosfaith grivieous was actually strong compared to the general populace of jedis it's just he messed up when he tried to mess with windu or kenobi.
If the inquisitors killed the Jedi they were hunting then someone like Vader didn't need to get involved in the first place, but if an inquisitor was killed, it showed that the Jedi in question might be worth Vader's time to kill personally. The inquisitors just basically made it so that Vader didn't need to go kill every single Jedi that was spotted since in most cases his presence wouldn't necessary to deal with the mostly Padawan's and low level knights that survived order 66.
That’s why in survivor instead of an inquisitor showing up when the hidden paths hq is found. Vader dos with his pull power. He knows ceres and cal are there. It would be pointless if anyone but him gos. This is especially the case as if he didn’t go based on ceres showing, She would have survived with the archives and any inquisitor sent wound up dead, no question. The empire lost almost a full battalion and Vader in that battle because ceres and marrin proved to be vary overwhelming combatants.

Every time I see one, they get clapped but I understand that they generally lose to the high level main characters.
The inquisters are not connected to the darkside, which is why darth vader constantly tortures them in training
Yes they are, he just wants them more connected to it. Fifth Brother and the Grand Inquisitor both turned to the dark side willingly.

Maybe it doesn’t amount to much, but I always liked how the apparition of the Grand Inquisitor initially dominated Luke in their brief duel post ESB and was only finished off when he (Luke) called upon the full power of the Force (mini Kanan moment)
That was such a cool moment in the comics

It should also be noted that any Inquisitior that manages to stay alive should steadily grow more powerful anyway.
Around mid level Jedi. This basically means they're fodder to most of the main Force Users in the series (Vader, Ashoka,Maul and of course people like Sidious and Yoda) because all of them are absolute top tier beasts.Unstoppable monsters to actual Fodder (Normal Stormtroopers , normal Rebel soldiers) and challenging opponents to characters like Cal,Ezra and Kanan. Whether or not they can take out a normal Jedi out in a fair fight is a 50/50 shot, they probably use their recourses and numbers to give themselves better odds.
Although it would definitely be cool to see a little more of their unstoppable side. Have them do some of the things Cal does in the games for example
By survivor literally no inquisitor except tye grand inquisitor and maybe the fith brother could provided a good challenge for cal

Trilla and the Grand Inquisitor truly were the most effective of them.
The average Inquisitor seems to be high Padawaan level. The Grand Inquisitor is somewhere in the knight tier.
They seem to average around low to mid jedi knight with several being near the jedi master lvl

I'm pretty sure none of the Inquisitors could pull down a Star Destroyer from orbit while getting fired at by Tie Fighters, I'm also sure they couldn't vaporize stormtroopers with a force blast either, so I'm pretty fuckin sure they couldn't defeat Starkiller whatsoever.

Honestly this video really helped. I never could have imagined the 5th brother was stronger than malicos. This is because malicos was a Jedi master before turning to the dark side so he would be even stronger.

On a similar level skill-wise. But not power-wise. This was stated in an interview with Filoni in regards to her fight with Vader a few years ago. They said the only two people who could go blow for blow with Ahsoka were Vader or the Emperor

Pretty much ever y Inquisitor fight we've seen on screen they've come up against a Jedi or force user with extreme plot armour. Would be nice to see some day stories of Inquisitors actually being terrifying
Kylo isn't Vader level
By the time of The Rise of Skywalker he’s probably on the same level as Return of the Jedi Luke but that’s about it

It’s weird how Palpatine followed The Rule of Two, yet allowed the existence of an inquisitorius full of what were essentially Sith. There was infighting among them that the Rule of Two was designed to prevent.
(I don’t buy that the Inquisitors weren’t Sith, they were much more than Dark Jedi. They were trained in the ways of/carried out the will of the Sith)

That was Tales of the Jedi. But it’s also a loose adaptation of the 2016 Ahsoka book, which revealed how Ahsoka got her white lightsabers.

About 200 Jedi survived order 66. A few dozen survived to join Luke’s new Jedi Order. So I’d say about 100 to 150

Looking about at it I hate that the grand inquisitor was the main villain at first, it should of been one of the others

as for fallen order cal he’s ~ the 2nd sister going off their 3rd battle
As for fallen order cal first 2 fights he lost against trilla , 3rd fight he won with a underhanded technique , final fight he beat her decisively taking advantage of a weakness he found in their 3rd battle so he’s ~ 2nd sister
As for the 5th brother battle while he was physically weaker the main reason he lost Was due to stamina/endurance

Speed - at worst equal , at best slight edge to cal as he lands more blows

It kind of bullsh*t that he'd lose against the 5th brother after everything in Jedi Fallen order.
It’s stupid how they portrayed the 5th brother in that book given that in every other time he’s shows he’s been one the worst and clumsiest inquisitor in the group
a lot were former jediknights, the average padawan and jediknight is not strong as kenobi, luke, kanan, ezra, cal kestis, cere junda, ahsoka and so on. even with the darkside inquisitors at most would be a mid lvl jediknight, some are stronger let's say 2nd sister and grand inquisitor. 2nd sister was probably a high lvl jedi knight in terms of all around combat abilities, while the grand inquisitor would be low jedi master. their jobs were to hunt down the remnants and there's a very low chance of bumping into masters when they do the job is to survive and report since vader can't go to every rumor of jedi appearing, he only does when they pose enough threat.
How did Cal, Merrin, Greeze Cerre and the reanimated corpse escape the 5th brother?

What about the ninth inquisitor as she got his ass clapped by Kal and if he Kal was afraid of ever facing another inquisitor why did he face trilla then as he had clapped the ninth sister but was not afraid to fight another inquisitor can you please explain that like why did he beat the ninth sister it was hard but he still won or is she like the weakest inquisitor?

What about Cal vs the Ninth sister? She didn’t seem conflicted and yet she got defeated by a Padawan who was just reconnecting himself to the force.
Well simply to put it Cal is just that good he has shown to be a genius, who fought in the clone wars, and has a very high midichlorian count.
Fifth brother fought an exhausted Cal who was on some "I'll sacrifice myself for my friends" in JBS.
As well as a Cere who was on some "I can reform you" nonsense.

I don’t know about everyone else but if we’re doing more Star Wars videos I would love to see some scaling for characters from the High Republic era like Avar Kriss, Porter Engle or Loden Greatstorm. It would really flesh out that era for people and show everyone just how powerful those Jedi were

The Grand inquisitor is basically a jedi temple door man in the old republic days. The inquisitors below him can only bully untrained townsfolk and fight to the death with child padawans (Jedi: fallen order)

It would’ve been cool if a Jedi Master actually fell to the dark side, only to become an Inquisitor. They’d be too skilled and immediately rise the ranks to Grand Inquisitor, only for Darth Vader to step up.

Darth Sidious was more powerful than Darth Vader. So sidious was the most powerful force user amongst the sith. Ashoka never equalled Vader or Sidiou. How do you justify making that up?

@@KeyIssues Sorry, but with all due respect, I am certain otherwise.
George Lucas was pressed on this in an interview and his official answer was that Luke was the full realization of Anakin Skywalker’s potential. He managed to inherit all the force abilities from his father’s side and since he missed out on a physically and psychologically debilitating injury he managed to become as strong as Anakin would have been had he not been hurt himself. In symbolic terms he is the living redemption of the chosen one.

The Disney canon makes no sense. Cere with Cal couldn’t beat the fifth brother but she could stand alone against Vader? She lost but he had to fight. So the fifth brother would be more powerful and better bake to fight Vader. And if the the grand inquisitor was stronger he should be a real threat to Vader.
If you are talking about the encounter Cere had with Vader in FO, she got rag dolled by Vader who was only using one him she was only able to bring him to his knees for a couple of seconds with the help of the dark side. While JS Cere basically reached enlightenment, had prepared for 5 years to fight Vader again, and Vader trying to toy with her in the first half of their fight.
(Edit) Also Cere was able to fight off the Fifth Brother but she was trying to reason with him and bring him back to the light side like how she did with Trilla.
@@nightknave744 I don’t buy the Disney canon at all. I don’t see how Ashoka fits in with the classical characters if she can basically beat Maul but then gets her ass handed to her by Baylan Skull. Like, the guy was basically just a force sensitive mercenary and should have been pummelled by Ashoka if she’s this great warrior who can seriously duel Maul and Anakin. It makes it seem like Maul is quite weak, which he wasn’t supposed to be in the Lucas canon. I won’t get started on characters like Kylo Ren.

Honestly, I really hate Ahsoka now Dave just can't let him character go she should have stayed died in rebels or been killed off during Order 66 like Lucas wanted. Besides that, there's also the fan base that overrates her and tries to make her out to be Vader or Yoda level of power. Kylo ren is a joke I'm not about to blindly listen to those bs statements about him being stronger than Vader or on his level considering he lost to Rey.
