Exactly. What I'm thinking now is that there is not necessarily too much happening, but we expose ourselves to too much information. So, maybe a combination of "selective memory" (what you were talking about in the video), and reduced exposure to information to improve our "performance" in daily life would be best. Thus, a focus on fine tuning acquired knowledge instead of overwhelming ourselves with new knowledge. @DrewTalksTech

But adding to that - I’m barely on social media anymore and I avoid following most world news and things which bring me anxiety without having a direct impact on my life. There’s so much we can cut down on.
