I'm impressed that you include in your uploads at least one match that Arantxa didn't win. This was obviously a terrific match. I believe that Dominique would give a lot of today's players some real problems, as she hits the ball extremely flat. Players these days just aren't used to dealing with that type of shot as much.
I don’t know about that. Van Roost was a solid player who had beaten Hingis and taken a set off Graf in their only meeting. She beat Vicario after this and played a couple of tough 3 setters against her. She’s a solid player and this is just a continuation of the grit she’s often shown on court around this time.
