wouldn't give zidane a place just yet, replace him in the starting XI with capello, and replace capello with conte as a sub
+G Wuyts It's greatest footballers turned managers not greatest managers who used to be footballers
Arvid Littorin than maradonna should be on there instead of pep
G Wuyts It's pretty strange that Maradonna isn't on there
+G Wuyts It was a pretty controversial decision!
Arvid Littorin maradonna was arguably the best player ever, but he was a pretty awful manager
Many have mentioned Sir Alex Ferguson. He played as a striker - who would he replace in this team?
I think Ferguson was better off as a manager he was more successful.
He wasn't a great player
Where's Kluivert? :D
zizou may do greats but I mean no Ferguson that's mental
+Football Daily
Dunfermline Athleticstriker no less...
young Barca fans should know who Cruyff is and what he means to that club
+Hamlet telmaH He's a legend!
Football Daily i don't think the youngsters have any idea what he's done for the club and Spanish football as a whole not to mention Ajax, Imo he's in the top 4 greatest footballer ranking hands down.
***** sure but his influence on Barca and the Spanish National team is huge. As a player he is for sure top 4 all time greatest player but as a Manager is what's impressive as what he was able to do with Ajax, Barca and the Spanish National team. Some of today's Managers have and are using his style. He is a Legend Period.
+Hamlet telmaH Barca fans are just kids these days, they know nothing about the Football before 2010.
+HARPREET CHOHAN Cryuff is considered by many barca fans asthenia spiritual father of Barcelona. his dream team was the beginning of Domince for barca that carried on to van gaal Rijkaard and guardilola
Brian Clough?? He had a great goal scoring record and 1 of the best managers of all time
Van basten? Rjikaard? De boer? All very good managers who were also class players. And for people saying maradona should be on this list no he shouldn't he was a terrible manager
Van Basten failed with Holland, Ajax, Heereveen and AZ. Frank Rijkaard just did great with Barcelona in a couple of seasons. De Boer only won the Eredivisie, what is a shit league.
+Man Van Staal But if Zidane is in here you should have put rijkaard in for sure.
+Man Van Staal still should be ahead of zidane, rjikaard at least won few trophies as a manager with barca including the league and champions league and de boer although the Dutch league is weak he has won it 5 times so at least deserve a place on the bench. Zidane should be no where near this team just yet
Kai Pelekanos I think Conte and Mancini deserved it more. Great players at Juventus and Sampdoria and won trophies at Juve, Man City and Inter.
+Man Van Staal rjikard is way better than manchini
If Zidane is here ... Then Giggs should definitely be here
+Arun Chandel he was a manager when David moyes got sacked
+OfficialKPG That still doesn't make him able to be on this list. yes he did take over but it was only temporary, where as zidane was given a 2 year contract.
and giggs has managed more games than zizou so far
compering zidane with giggs is a disrespect to football.
giggs was a wonderful player but nowhere near zidane
10/10 for spelling mate
Some legend players and managers here! Great vid!
Great vid lads
No Paisley? Won 3 Champions Leagues as manager having played his whole career at Liverpool
Totally agree with you. Won league as both player and manager. Hell he served as physio as well. Putting Zidane on with only a handful of games was a joke.
How can you forget jurge kilnsmann ???
benji111 ikr
Your content is getting better everyday
OMG!!! I was drooling the entire time! That team is absolutely outrageous!!!
wtf!!! zidane??? two games and he's already here??? pathetic
It says great players turned MANAGERS NOT GREAT MANAGERS
It's more about people who had fantastic careers then became managers, there isn't much emphasis on the manager part it's just fantastic players have became managers
Zidane was also a co trainer who win the champions league
+Gerardo Salas Listen to Chris Vazquez. Also, learn to comprehensively read.
+Chris Vazquez then diego maradona should be also there. -_-
where is Alan shearer
+Danny Celtic good one
+Danny Celtic NO seriously!!The title says "Greatest Footballers turned managers XI".He might have been a shit manager but he was one of the greatest Premier League strikers in history. So technically he should be on this list......
+Jayanth S the list is of good managers only (and zidane for some reason)
BooUrns But the title doesn't say good managers and we don't know if Zidane will be a good manager either..
Jayanth S I literally mentioned that I don't know why they put in zidane in my comment
Brian Clough was a great scorer and one of the best managers ever. He deserves a mention. Also worth mentioning are Bernd Schuster, Michael Laudrup and Luis Aragonés.
Mentioning Mario Zagallo as one of 2 coaches to win the World Cup as player and coach, and then not including him in the line-up. That is just weird. He was involved in 4 out of Brazil's 5 world cup wins.
Arsene Wenger? Diego Maradona?
Arsene Wenger was a shit player
And is a shit manager ^
Maradonna was a shit manager
wenger is a shit manger
+Jeff Mcfly Wenger was not an amazing player but if you think he is a shit manager you're fucking stupid he has accomplished a lot at Arsenal and sure he went years without winning a trophy but he consistently got us champions league football on a budget (due to the building of the new stadium) you would think that he would have left because he wasn't able to compete with other clubs financially or because all of our best players started jumping ship but he stuck by us despite getting offers from other big clubs. he has stayed loyal to our club for almost 20 years and will go down as one of the greatest football managers of all time
How can you miss out the legend Sir Alex Ferguson
+Azhar Ingar Because he wasn't a GREAT player...
+Football Daily one of the best 3 managers in the world tho xD
+Football Daily hahahah
+Yasser Al-Ali it's about how good they were as a player, not a manager
Aitor karanka? Real Madrid and Middlesbrough?
I would love it if Keegan was in the first 11. Love it
sick team
Gheorghe Hagi?
Van Basten coached the Dutch squad
nope he was an assistant manager
+Franc Mema he was coach between 2004 and 2008 but now he is assistant
+Franc Mema +Franc Mema he was coach between 2004 and 2008 but now he is assistants
Mario Zagallo, The father of most modern football tactics, winner of FOUR world cups (2 as player, 2 as manager + runner up in 98) and Dunga?
Giovanni Trapatoni!! One of or not the best manager in Serie A history. Also, one of the coaches to win all three european competitions back when UEFA cup winner's cup was a thing. And he had so much success with Milan as a player as well
Michael Laudrup?
Di Matteo Ruud Guillit
Laudrup over Zidane and Van Basten, Klinsmann are missing
ANTONIO CONTE.
He was a very good midfielder and he's one of the best coaches in europea atm
14th
It's my favourite and lucky number
Do you reckon Thiery Henry will be on this list in 10 years if he takes over Arsene Wenger at Arsenal in 2 or 3 years?
+Hayden Sharp I sure do hope so
Doesn't seem like big enough of a character to be a manager
Ian Male Have to disagree there, one of the biggest personalities when playing for arsenal, can tell by the way he celebrated his goals and the swagger he had. I just think he's a lot more serious when doing punditry otherwise i think he has great character, I'm sure Brendan Rodgers would agree. :D
+Hayden Sharp i don't think he will be great manager. He is smart and was an amazing player, but i still doubt him. Look at Gary Neville now... Manager job is not for everyone.
i think that Zanetti will be good manager and he would finally get inter to the Europe
Mario Zagallo should have been there !!! Also, Giovanni Trapattoni was a great defender and an excellent coach !!!
Ferenc Puskás: All time great player who also achieved great things for Panathinaikos including leading them to runner ups in the 71 European cup.
Zidane is probably my favorite player of all time, but he hasn't achieved anything as a manger yet..
correction*
Gianfranco Zola
Giggs?
Loves your wife.
Giggs is the assistant
Gianfrabco Zola !!!
Lengend players.
Roberto Mancini perhaps? For a manager who loves such a negative and pragmatic style of play, he was quite a flamboyant forward at Sampdoria and Lazio as a player.
Gary Neville
Yep.
@@danielpetersen4123😂
Hugo Sanchez
I'm Mexican and no because as a manager mexico was pretty poor in games
+greenchoas11 he won back to back titles with pumas no one has done that in the last 30 years
+King Red hugo sanchez jugo para Real Madrid y gano campoinatos con pumas
kriztiano10 So he deserves tu be greatest footballers turned managers? Comparado a estes entrenadores? Perdon pero no. La liga MX no vale mucho comparado a Europa y soy mexicano. No tengo nada contra Hugo pero no merece estar en este lista
King Red y zidane si? Tiene 3 juegos no mas
you guys should do worse players turn managers next
What about Mario Zagallio? The Brazilian who won World Cup as a player and manager
Sir Alex ferguson?
It's more about fantastic players who became managers, the managerial accomplishments aren't really relevant for this video
True
+GoGoCoutinho where is Maradona then
+Mrthesuperspeedboy1 crap manager, but Zidane shouldn't be there
+regan Fitzpatrick yes but this video is about great footballers that turned managers so he should be here
Michael Laudrup!
rudy voller. played for Germany's 1990 world cup winning side and as a manager got the 2002 Germany side to the final only to loose to an inform Brazil side
What Heynckes won : 4 Bundesliga titles as a player, a European Championship and World Cup with Germany, a Bundesliga title, a DFB-Pokal and a Champions League with Bayern and Real Madrid as a coach. Damn, not sure I even got everything. Tell me if I missed something.
Back in their prime this would of been an awesome team
0:58 Frack Beckenbauer looks Like Gotze 😂😂😂😂
Mourinho and Wenger played Semi-Professional in France and Portugal.
Real Madrid legends
Miguel Munoz
And Alfredo distefano
Great players and as managers too
Di stefano was ahead of his era. Was puskas ever a manager?
Klopp or Fergie as strikers with Conte or Pochettino in defence. Oh, and Gary Neville.
one thing is to be every good player and turn manager, another is to be an average players and be a very good manager and very few can be very good managers and very good players in their careers
Where is FDW? it's been Quite a while! it's the best part of the channel and it seems that its being neglected? Is this due to the various other projects that the others are doing? hope to see it back soon x
Ronald koeman, Is that the guy who is in fifa legend XI who have amazing pace, drib and shooting defending?
Proud saints fan for our manger 😂😂
This was 2 days after my Birthday!
J.Cruyff Kid Nap Attempt😟😟😟😱😱😱😱
My Hero is Not my Hero Anymore
Probably will resort to Akinfenwa being my Idol
+Pro 3Styler-Skills,Vlogs,Football and More He wasn't the one kidnapping people. Someone tried to kidnap him and his family
Philip Cocu, Frank de Boer, Laudrup
jupp heynckes' bayern is one of if not THE best teams in modern football imo. they were unstoppable.
vídeo bom
cudd u do a list of football siblings thnx
You definately missed Ramon Diaz, I was really dissapointed by not seeing him in this XI.
No Zagalo and Trapattoni? WoW
Koeman, Guardiola, Cruyff, L.Enrigue and also L.Blanc ex-barça players. It is what makes to play for the best football of the world
howard kendall. an amazing midfielder and very successful manager.
i feel like beckenbauer should've been cm and frank de boer should've been cb and i think inzaghi and vieri both deserve a shout too, neville brothers also debateable and in the future, u can say ryan giggs and drogba and maybe even terry.
What about the Chelsea coach who's name I forgot that lead them to the champions league and fa cup double
You've missed michel prudhomme -Belgium .. I dunno about his accomplishments as a manager , but I am sure he was good
Frank de Boer, Rijkaard, Phillip Cocu and Gio van Bronckhorst
Frank Rijkaard. One of the best defensive midfielders of all time, who also won several titles as manager of Barca, including the Champions League.World Cup winning defender Jack Charlton was a useful player and manager.Brian Clough was a prolific goal scorer in his playing days as well as a lauded manager.Double World Cup winning defender Daniel Passarella won four titles as a manager and six league titles as a player.Alfredo di Stefano. One of the best players of all time, had a successful managerial career, including multiple league titles and a European Cup Winners Cup.Roberto Mancini has won numerous titles as both player and manager.Ferenc Puskás was a successful manager as well as an all time great player.Brazil great Zico has won several titles as a manager.Antonio Conte has been very successful as a player and manager. As well as having a notable managerial career Bobby Robson also played twenty times for a strong England team.
I would've picked Arsene Wenger. Although his playing career wasn't as well known as the others, he has been a great manger for clubs like Arsenal and Monaco.
Mancini; Hughes (still a work in progress as a manager, but he certainly had the cred as a player)...
Alan Pardew on the bench great manager, good player
As a Leeds fan I find it hard to defend Whiskey Nose Ferguson but...
you should put Frank Rijkaard,Laurent Blanc and Antonio Conte on this list
Roberto De mattao for taking over Chelsea and winning the champions league not long after..
You could have also included Antonio Conte
R.I.P Johan Cruyff
was guilet a playing manager or a player who became a manager?
Mark Hughes, Steve Bruce
Henrik Larsson played striker for Celtic man Utd and Barcelona
Great list, but where are Frank Rijkaard and Antonio Conte? They are good players as well as successful managers.
Boss for this squad - Sir Alex Ferguson
great footballers turned managers more like Van Basten or Maradona+Ferguson wasn't good player
Alfredo di Stéfano y Ladislao Kubala.
You forgot the legend GULLIT !!!!
Guardiola was World Class player for us, Master-Cruyff found him for La Masia, but sadly injuries destroyed his career. Now we have better version, Sergio Busquets.
The Swedish legend Henrik Larsson is a great manager. Maybe not as good as the others but i think he deserves a place on the bench.
DO BEST XI IN THE HISTORY MINE WOULD BE
Lev Yashin
Cafu
Beckenbauer
Maldini
R. Carlos
Di Stefano
Iniesta
Zidane
Maradona
Ronaldo Nazario
Pele
Subs: Casillas - Lahm - Ramos - Cruyff - Messi - Cristiano Ronaldo
Martino Martino fuck you
I'm from the future, you were right about Zidane
maradona,sinisa mihajlovic,neville,rijkaard,robert prosinecki,ryan giggs
well if u put zidane than sinisa mihajlovic deffinitly should be there aswell(like one of the best free kick takkers of all time and he is doing allrigh job as a manager)
You forgot pre'duhomme and Michael Laudrup
8
Marco Van Basten!
Jupp Heynckes. 💯❤💙❤❤❤
the thing is everyone says their stats matter. everyone is saying they're better than sanchez but hes only been quality fo 1-2 years
You forgot the best, Giovanni Trapattoni. I mean.. come on! 2 Serie A, 1 Italian Cup, 2 European Cups, 1 Cup winners Cup and 1 Intercontinental Cup.. as a player. As a manager, won EVERYTHING with Juve, won with Inter, Bayern, Salzburg, Benfica and coached Italy, coming second in the Euros and took Ireland to the World Cup. Coached everywhere and sucessful on any project he was given. And Zidane coached 2 matches and his on the list.. ffs
Manuel Pelligrini? He played in Chile
wheres jurgen klinsman sure he might not be the best manager but he was a great player snd deserve a spot on that team
Sir Bobby Robson
this should've been a debate
what about Jürgen Klinsmann? he was such a good striker back in the day and almost won the WC with germany
+lucask152 Great shout!
