  • AI is what everyone is talking about these days from the Entertainment Industry to how it will impact schools and teaching, creativity, and art. It's caused a major concern amongst creators and the entertainment industry. In this video, I explore some of the threats and opportunities that come with AI and the music industry.

    I'm very interested in what AI can do for mixing and mastering, within a DAW. It would be awesome to simply type a prompt that you want the vocals to have more reverb and compression or individual track volume to be louder/softer specific sections, etc. or even prompting "mix this song so it sounds similar to song X by artist Y". Even if it just got close as a starting point, it would be a huge time saver - but it's definitely a threat for producers and engineers. Editing too, but I imagine that might be more difficult.

      That would be an awesome use of technology and AI. I could see this happening. Maybe you should develop it. Not like you need more to do. Ha!
