We are Keanna and Dustin! We are two elementary teachers dating long distance. Keanna lives in Atlanta and Dustin lives in Indianapolis. Keanna currently teaches fifth grade while Dustin is teaching fourth grade. We met through the wonderful world of Instagram and haven't looked back. We share our love, adventures, and everything in between.

Awesome answer, “happy to see you are happy.” All my children spouses are interracial. I have five beautiful grands that I love unconditionally. As they are growing older, they need assurance in their identity. As a teacher, principal, and now a pastor has helped me to understand their struggles. 🎀✝️✝️✝️💕

you are so right children need to be in a school thats where most children's developmental milestones develop physically and socially. they learn to make friendships, turn taking, being in school with other kids is so important to negotiate their way in society. also vulnerable children will never have an opportunity for someone in school to notice and do something about neglect or abuse. abuse of children will go unchecked. any civilised society should never jeopardise its children's wellbeing including education in school period.
You are absolutely right Keana, its about the union not the wedding. 15 years ago my husband and I were planning our dream wedding and it was becoming too stressful so we got hitched in a small ceremony with just our son, his parents and the marriage officiant. That was 13 plus years ago. We are super happy and go on a couple vacation once per year with the wedding money. Lol! I love your vision for your wedding ceremony.

It would be so beautiful, if people would look at people as human beings and not color. Just think how life would be on earth. I believe it would be less divorce and more living and caring. People have so many IGNORANT thoughts on race. Just love and be happy with any race.

Both of you should consider getting teaching jobs with the Department of Defense Dependent Schools (DODDS) for the overseas location you desire, or somewhere close where you can travel to it easily. It's something to think about for post-COVID. Check it out now! The benefits are great! I did something similar and got to live my dream of traveling through Europe. t's much cheaper than trying to those destinations separately from the US.

I can't stop commenting; you two are so such a breath of fresh air.... you should both consider teaching in China... the salaries are better than many other places and it's easy to save living there bcos the cost of living is so low. It's been the best experience of my life.

I'm with you Dustin. I'm retirement age and I have never taken anything either. I believe our bodies will handle it but with you I'm taking this one because of my age and the severity of this "flu". I've been, unfortunately, exposed to individuals that were positive twice and have not contacted it. Blessed.

Me too, I was late - but great catching up. Justin has is so 👌and of course so is keanna
I would like to know how the public can put more pressure on the school system to put into curriculum about having to study another culture because we would see at an early age like middle or freshman year it should be mandatory because we could try as a society put the race card behind us. Let's learn from our difference's and concentrate on our likeness that would be a great start. Because if we wait for parents it will not happen. That's why I like seeing interracial couples because hopefully we can make a difference. A Dustin is so comical him and you can contribute alot to society. I know things about teaching because my mom was a teacher and saw in Gonzales, Ca. that there needed to be a class in bilingual culture and it was more about knowing about other cultures. Plus I had a chance to substitute teach here in Sumner County with some gifted kids and didn't know it where I was ahead of the teacher because she was going to teach her class what I came up with. People who have gone to college need to come out and teach people so they can be all that our society has to offer. We just may have a better society. Let me know. I'm in the South now but looking to getting to a warmer climate. I'm originally from Silicone Valley and The Bay Area of California.
