I’ve had my NB4 for a couple years now used in more than a Dozen various RC cars and no issues. Love it. Very user friendly.

Wow man I’m new to hobby and I had no idea that radio controllers could be this advanced, maybe not surprising for most of the experienced ones here but I’m so amazed by all the stuff you can setup with something like this remote, definitely will try it in the future once my DUMBORC X6PM-350 finished its job 😊
Transmitters are like mini PCs now 😅 you can have telemetry of the models and much more...I had one Turnigy 9x back in the days and it was the holy grail of modding i think.😂
Custom firmware, sound mods, vibration mods, telemetry etc...nice days...actually today i rebuilt it, redone everything because when i modded it my soldering skills were worst.😅😅

Having both nb4 and pro versions, I'll wait on the nb4 pro ver. 2 that includes that easier battery replacement option, and a faster latency time with their receivers

Is the trigger still adjustable by just altering the angle between the parts or do you now have to replace the whole front part like it is on the Pro?

Only really mess with crawlers and trying to decide whether or not to get one of these. I’ve always had good luck with my GT5s but not sure if I would benefit any from this over the GT5
I use the original NB4. It's my favorite radio so far. The new one looks even better.

Its a beautiful radio. It has a battery in the handle too so essentially you have 2 batteries. Once the handle battery starts to die you turn the bottom battery on and it charges the handle battery. It's an excellent design. With other brands you have to buy a separate battery if you want rechargeable
oooohhh looks cool!!! I have the first nb4 and the Pro. This will be a great middle option. This looks like the firmware of the NB4 Pro.

My arrma granite 4x4 3s keeps clicking when I apply throttle, but it is not the diff or the sper gear. What do you think could be the problem?
Does anyone know if you can program SW1 or SW2 to D/R 100% with the push of either button? I sometimes run a low D/R and in some instances need 100% quickly. Also, can you change the trigger throw to 80/20 instead of the 50/50?
will be interesting how the ibus2 will perform on the new NB4, apparently it can do up to 1000hz so for things like rc drifting you'll have even better precision during drift transitions. 🤘
how does this transmitter compare to Radiomaster's MT12?

Nice upgrade! Not much different but good too see a better version of the firmware. I dont like that they upped the price, though. I know it's only $30 but every time they up the price it makes it harder to compete with other higher end radios. I think I'd take the Radiolink RC8X over the FlySky.
This going be my decision to make , I want try one of these high tech low budget radios.

I am ever so patiently waiting for Spektrum to come out with a 'smart' type radio with a touch screen. Most of my newer cars are all using the Spektrum equipment, and I have the Spektrum NS 5 pro, and am WAY less than impressed. The smart ESC's they come with can broadcast all that telemetry info, as when paired with the little blue tooth module, we can use an app on our smartphones and use that as a super cool little dashboard, and even get in to the ESC to make changes. Just wish they'd hurry up and come out with something cool soon! I REALLY LIKE these flysky radios, and have heard nothing but good things about them, but I'm sure they wouldn't work with the Spektrum equipment. :(
Spektrum used to have the DX6R which was basically the same thing, but it kinda sucked so they discontinued.

Do you think it's worth the $100 for the brighter screen and usb c. I ordered the nb4 for $189 with 2 rx. But was thinking of returning it and getting the olus but will be $300 with only 1 rx

@@RazorRC i can only imagine lol ive tried the original nb4 but not the newer versions of it. I do have a old flysky it4s it works great and hooks to alot of the receivers afhds afhds2 and afhds 2A but its hard to find so i dont use it much. I really want a my12 thats good and i fly fpv so im very very familiar with open/edge tx and id rather the 4in1 myself and it is closer to my price range

Assuming the biggest advantage would be the price dropping of the original version comparing with the slower response and the useless new icons.
Biggest advantage is the brighter screen
It's not 30 bucks, but 100 bucks more. I have a NB4 and don't worth pay 100 bucks more for the improvements.
Especially if you need the fgr4s
