Rythian’s editing makes me so thankful for the CZcams games, since the stream managers never watch the game/listen to the players enough to know when to switch perspectives properly.
100% thats my main gripe with streamed games that are then uploaded to youtube, the editing just isnt quite there like it is with prerecorded games

I also like that they can freely name their cities in these games, unlike in streamed games where they end up naming them after donors. Kirsty can name her cities Malcolm instead of having to name them CreeperKiller69 or something.
I love that Kirsty has become part of the regular cast for these now, that combined with Rythian's great editing has been such a breath of fresh air

ah yes the useless zoom of 10% you can do that yourself with control scroll and i dont care if your a mobile user since i can also see just fine without my glasses on on my mobile phone

Good Job to Kirsty on getting Petra, huge bonus to her capitol and it seemed to go down without any comment or notice from anyone in the game. She got very lucky that Daltos did not prioritize it. Daltos appears to be doing a fairly standard early tech path of prioritizing production (horse back riding and metal casting) first before gold and research. This is the usual path for a wide start and it works well in almost every circumstance but it does come at the cost of contesting early wonders like Oracle and in this case Petra. As Morocco I would have personally focused on Petra because it pairs incredibly well with Casbahs and their unique benefit from trade routes but Daltos did have this whole pesky war thing to worry about so I understand prioritizing production over everything else. When the next inevitable war breaks out he should be able out produce anyone else.
On Each player:
Kirsty continues to be in her own little world, high above the petty squabbles of the midlanders. Early mistakes has cost her big but she has her three little cities and seems content with it. I feel like the players misadvised her on the fishing boat, her best bet would have been to hover her mouse over the happiness icon and see if coral was listed on her luxuries, that would be the best way to know for sure she did indeed build a fishing boat on the tile.
Duncan gets big ups picking holy warriors with Tibet, now can he be smart enough to realize he has the ability to produce a ton of faith with his unique improvement and pray an army into existence? Considering he's only built one so far.... probably not, but the potential is there.
Rythian finally learns why it's such a dick move to disband a barb camp an honor player is farming and why people get so mad at him when he does it to them. There do seem to be plenty of other camps around but will Rythian go farm them or just lash out instead?
Lewis: Getting a bit of middling advice from Daltos on the effectiveness of composite bowmen on city states. They can work, yes, if you have a lot of them and attack them early. But catapults are much much better. If Lewis intends to just farm the city state's units though bowmen are much better suited for the job. Catapults will have a much easier time sieging down the city as in Lekmod they get indirect fire and a bonus attacking cities.
Daltos is sitting below the midlanders and focusing on his economy. Being the first to metal casting is a big deal that the rest are too worried about their own petty troubles to realize. The war with Lewis didn't hurt either party that much save pushing back buildings and possibly some tech bonuses and I think it wasn't the worst idea to end it. One hill is all it takes to make a war plan fall apart and many Moroccan soldiers found that out the hard way. I noticed, however, one of those neglected buildings appears to have been a shrine as he just now is founding his pantheon. I was a bit upset we cut away to see what he chose but I'm hoping he took something that benefited his position. I see God of War was still there and would have been a great pick for an honor player who has already built their barracks

i got blocked on a webcomic because i refused to argue with the author. in fairness i guess he could have interpreted " whatever you want to believe" differently but that's what i meant.
