It looks like a military type cockpit and that bell alarm at 4:06 makes it a bit vintage too, loved it!

Tu 154 is very difficult to operate, pilots must have a lot of practice. This plane does not forgive mistakes.

No, do not be an idiot and for your worst failure those of today (pilots) are so useless to the point of being totally dependent on computers to do everything for them to the degree that if there is a crosswind, another airport is sought because they are useless.

Even the German Air Force had a TU 154. It was "inherited" from the East German Air force. It flew all right until it was involved in a mid-air crash off South Africa. So the TU 154 can't have been that bad.

urgh! That cabin colour! Almost as bad as the "cockpit green" :) Love the old fashioned instruments and radar, true flying at its best!

They have one of these stored outside the new terminal at budapest airport (ex malev), a very unconventional aircraft. Anyway, these aircraft are banned within JAA states due to new noise regulations, and not because of safety.

Hoaxes and scams what they do is sell the ugly and antiseptic a320s 737s instead the Tupolev and ilyushin are very strong and for rough use the new airbus boeing are disposable

Why do Russian aircraft always have green control panels up in the cockpit? Its the same even with the Ilyushins, new generation Tupolevs and the Sukhoi Superjet
