  • For educational purposes. I'm a fan reacting to hearing this tune, by picking up the guitar and playing along (poorly at times 😁), but having fun. Enjoy! Please hit the "like" button and please Subscribe and hit the notification bell! Thanks so much!

One of my all-time favorite songs.... by a mile. Top-5 list for sure. Maybe higher. And same goes for .38 Special. Top-5 for sure for me. I'm also a Van Halen and EVH freak.... like you (apparently). Van Halen is my #1 by 3 miles. LOL But love .38, and LOVE this song. And Brother.... you nailed it. Fantastic tone you got on this. Don Barnes and Jeff Carlisi were just absolute magic together, and you managed to capture some of that. Cool cover. Subbed you ! PS -Love the Doggo. Never moved an inch! LOL

Thank you so much! I really appreciate that. The first two 38 Sp tunes I covered were a bit of a mess....came in too hot on tone. This one, I worked on the tone for a while...Lots of fun.

I just checked out "Wildside" from your Playlist. I haven't ever heard of them before. Holy crap! They're amazing. Love their tunes. I need to learn their songs. It's a shame they didn't hit the scene til 92. They would have been huge!

@@squatch5280 Great hearing back from you! Yeah - A lot of really good Bands with that melodic rock sound we loved... coming onto the scene in 89/90/91/92.... just as that amazing era was ending. And most of them... got zero play, and disappeared into oblivion. So much of that music still out there... and even being unearthed these days, as we crave more of OUR music! Our (real) Rock N' Roll. Rock on, Brother!
