Welcome to my review of SHFiguarts VulPanther [バルパンサー] from Taiyo Sentai SunVulcan [太陽戦隊サンバルカン].
In my previous review I discovered that while VulShark was marginally better than VulEagle, it was too late. The lack of accessories included in this set kinda signals where they were at with the franchise. This was the end and they were clearing shop. No need to develop the SunVulcan Ball or New SunVulcan Ball. Let's just clear the books and move on the more effin' Star Wars & Marvel figures. Yep. This set is the hidden track that the band was obligated to include at the behest of the record label...
SHFiguarts VulPanther comes with his Vulcan Stick and several extra hands.
Continuing what the previous Figuarts did well, this guy is very yellow and has a nice belt. Like VulShark, the helmet is very well done. The details on the helmet's Panther look great and even have a nice blend effect worked in. I also appreciate that this was sold in a set with VulShark. I can't imagine having to shell out money for these two separately. (See: Winspector SHF)
This Figuarts suffers from all of same problems as the others. It doesn't shed legs like VulShark, but it has incredibly stiff leg joints. Again, this kills a lot of the posability that you see on the packaging and on Bandai's website. You can see in the packaging shots how his legs were on full extend mode when he was placed in the tray. Getting them back in place is a trick that involves three hands. Ugh.
Honestly, I probably like VulPanther the most out of the three SunVulcan SHF. That's kinda like saying I prefer the rash on my leg to the one on my forehead, though.
Now that we've seen them all separately...what do they look like together? Stay tuned...

They _almost_ look like they're wearing cloth suits. Pretty nice.
That's really the only thing that this new style body has going for it. Outside of that, there are soooo many issues.
