I’ve uninstalled the game. I can’t handle it. I’m not the best, but I have 3k hours in the game. It’s hard to be matched with people that don’t even know how the legend they’re playing functions. Or people with no game sense. 😢
Unfortunately now to be consistent and really having fun all the time in Apex even in Pubs and rank above plat you have to play every day for 10 hours
We have reached a point in the game where dedicated players have become very good at the game at all levels. A new player (even with good gun skill from other shooters) will struggle against a silver or gold player becuz they dont have the game knowledge that veteran players do. This is where the casual skillgap will die off an dedicated players will be the majority of the playerbase.
i ranked up to diamond extremely quickly like in a week of solo q, but as soon as i hit diamond it became almost impossible to rank up. need at least 6 kills and top 5 to gain any points, and thats while a very large portion of the teams are either pred stacks or cheaters

EA and Respawn has gone too far catering to pros, high skilled (and cheaters unwillingly?). Your "NFL" comparison was perfect, you can't expect a lower skill or "Casual" player to do well against 3 stacking, 4k, 20 bomb, Preds, Masters and Diamonds, and continue to want to play, yet this is what happens daily.

I just started playing overwatch again and I love how they manage q times. Instead of just waiting in a lobby you can join custom games made by the community or mess around in the "range" while waiting.
I like Splitgate did it better though. A small map where it's constant action, where half are bots and the others are actual players in queue as well. Great for new players and vets.
I always get bad teammates I had to rookies as teammates in gold this season also the cheaters ruined this season
Firing range with the lobby while queuing would be amazing. It’s big enough to where you can set areas up for practicing/1v1/2v2/3x3. Have the pit set up like a gulag so no one can enter but can watch. A king of hill type of deal. Barrier off 2 buildings for team fights. Cringey as it sounds im thinking Fortnite customs style, where u walk over something and it’ll put you in the Q for that activity
A big issue for me as a solo queuer is that I am not on consistently enough to have a dedicated team. I can’t play every single day or even at the same times

How on earth do all these people get these heirlooms.
Day 1 player, grinded every BP, event and ranked season, like 8k hours in the game as SOLO and only got 1 single heirloom at like pack 498.

@@TamedSlimecan confirm. bought 3 of the 100 pack sales and like a bunch of the 20 pack sales in like 2 years. have 2 heirlooms and should be close to my 3rd as far as opened packs go. BTW, not worth it. I haven't spent more than 20$ a season in the last 2 seasons
All about $$$, got mine literally at pack 499, but I don't buy into the whole cosmetic thing. I play because I like the game itself, but as a casual, with the piss poor sbmm, and cheating going on, my play time has definitely decreased.
And luck i have 5 heirlooms and only paid for 1, just happened to pull wraiths at level 20 when it was the only 1 ingame. Then bought paths and got 3 heirloom shards since for free

that queue time complaint is straight up unreasonable and dawg is crying
Playing soloQ is like being thrown into the slop, but it is definitely worse than previous seasons because you end up with duos of someone your rank and the other being a new/ bad player that is more than one tier below you. I gave up after having a few sessions, a few days in a row throwing to not communicating up until things go south in diamond. Que times are a by product of a more tighter match making and they need to revert that change where you can que with anyone. Allowing that along with the low level requirement for ranked allows cheaters to access the game more easily as well. I know that overall it is a game of cat and mouse for the security team but there needs to be more barriers to entry for ranked to try and maintain the competitive integrity of the game. Also I would love to see random ban waves in a some what consistent manor and use those people like "ammo" towards the cheat sellers like how piratesoftware explained it.
My 1st idea would be give us the options to make our lobby into training area orgo to lobby, and while ur in training area you can give us the same options as if ur were in the lobby. my 2nd idea is to give us better or update ALC with better description, such as configure dead zone for independently both L3 and R3, etc. plus fix the game already. For an example. I am a vantage main, and there a lot of times where I pull my ultimate sniper for someone to sneak up me, I'll be trying to switch out of my ultimate for my other gun when nothing pulls out and I'm just standing there punching air.

Your not good enough, the fact is your playing with a team wether you solo Q or not, to get to the top you need to be the best team. If you dont know you need a team for that then you dont deserve to make it out of diamound. Making it easier isnt better, getting better is.

The issue with apex is it's toxic community. Sooo sick of getting qued up with big heads that try to play like faide, throw games away by rushing in and getting aped then talking smack to the rest of the team.

I haven’t played much apex but I played a bit this morning before Easter stuff.
I’m currently gold 2 normally mid diamond, 3 of my 5 games I got 2 plat 1 or 2 players and each game I was the only one getting damage and knocks. I genuinely do not understand how people that are a rank and a half above me do worse than me BUT I GET PUNISHED
i started playing Apex in season 8 and the other day when i was looking at my battlepass badges i noticed i had 14 or so levels on the season 7.. which was odd when i hadn't played at all in season 7. i then remembered there was a brief period when my account was hacked and had to go through the hassle to get my account back around the time of season 7..
i think that dude must have had his account hacked or someone who knew his account info was playing on it..
My brother logged into his account for the first time a month ago, for the first time in almost 10 seasons, and it turns out someone had used his account, he went from no heirlooms to at least 4 heirlooms and his k/d went from less than 1 to over 3
I solo/duo with my buddy in ranked. Almost every time we dont want to push. My other 2 or 1 random push and get teamed immediately. There are times we cant capitalize on a knock, because teamates dont push to secure, even when no teams are nearby. I hit plat in the first 2 weeks of the season. Every time we go against pre preds and masters, or 20k kill+ stacks. Keep in mind, I have 3.5k kills on my whole account. Started playing on a fresh new account midway through last season. My old account is roughly the same, as I didn't really play a lot on the old one. Hit diamond a couple times. One of the easy seasons so I guess only 1 counts. We have a 3rd, but he is trying to get his future set up, so until then we've been looking for a temporary replacement/consistent 3rd. It's really difficult to find someone who synergies with us well. It's just a pain.
the moment i entered Gold IV, my next match immediately had diamonds as the champion squad. i can accept Plat lobby as a gold, but diamond? like seriously? i just pray they bite off more than they can chew and just die early.
As a Gold III, i even got bronze team mates, and when i asked them, they weren't even a duo... just 3 solo queue bois meeting up in a diamond lobby... LIKE HOW are they here?

i work for a living and after coming home and getting on the game around 11-12 oclock i get matched with golds and low plats! ive ran into the top 20 preds multiple times while solo with 2 plat 4s ... game isnt meant to be fun for us just the pro tier players and the sweats who always go pred every season

I solo Q to masters each season and by far this is the hardest season due to randoms. I know we complain about randoms but I’m D2 getting Qued with actual hard stuck gold players fighting 3 stack preds. It’s crazy
queue timme issue address is similar to what Overwatch 2 does. You can play like mini TDM or OMA mode while you wait. But for the soloQ, I fully agree as I am one myself. I Got to Plat once and that was the hardest grind I've done. I really dislike SoloQ just because it feel I'm punish more for playing by myself. I also believe playing 3 stack does provide an additional benefit and advantage. You are more likely to earn RP by 3 stacking compare to soloQ.
i have an serious issue, i am in D1 right now and for some reason i keep getting plat 1 teammates or D4 and then dying to masters/pred i thought they removed the mmr system? or was that a big lie because its getting frustrating getting teammates that just trash all the time

Also all of my ranked diamond/master badges are gone on apex. They are all bronze badges
Solo q is fine up to plat because you can be the differential. But once you hit diamond meatshields for teammates just don’t cut it.

I logged in after 15 days and all my ranked badges turned to bronze except the ones i had equiped. Luckily they were the highest ranked badges but that sucks.
Like ive been on and off ranked because of teammates its not like im salty when you play with randomers communication is RnG, sometimes people have mics then they dont. Communication is key as a trio. If youre with mates you can chat 24/7.
Since the new update last week I have been thrown to the wolves in pubs, I'm fighting 3 stack preds and masters and they are just destroying lobbies within minutes. I'm just an average player with a KD of 1 at best. I go to ranked for a break which I'm currently gold 1.
I think, the best solution for matchmaking is a complete overhaul for the servers, i dunno if US needs 15 servers. SA definitely doesn't need 5 servers and more segmentattion is more time waiting for a game
I don’t know if rewarding players more to stay away from your team is the best idea.
My friend and I grinded apex every weekend since the new season came out. You'd expect us to break out of plat in the spring break, but we ended up getting to demotion trials and playing r6. Every week was an increase, until apex decided to give us a wraith 7 matches in a row that landed monument and insta quit
I nearly uninstalled 2day. Sick of the game crashing and dying to triple pred teams when I'm solo queuing in pubs. Mmr is fucked, the game is not fun anymore

the amount of teammers and just straight out 0 recoil 0 bloom cheaters ive seen in plat-diamond is insane, i literally had to queue with someone who cheated in order to get my rp back
At least I'm not the only suffering from this ranked system this season I've won 70 games of ranked and only diamond 4 and some people have 40 games and they are in pred im getting around 3 to 6 kills a match and still going fucking negative 50 to 60 and by the top 10 comes my randoms have died or left
never really played ranked before even tho i’ve been playing since pretty much day 1, i solo qued to p1 and then got demoted all the way back down to p4 while i was continuing to solo q, idk what happened but i started getting literal gold teammates dying to masters, wtf is going on apex
02:44 I said this last season. This season will bring all the season 12 problems back to the table and here we go again. You can't play hard zone, you have to int everyone in order gain RP, you lose more than you gain by playing solo with random teammates that are not on your actual skill level but you share the same ingame rank...
Season 18 and 19 are two seasons that people make fun off but at the same time had the same amount of masters/preds as any other normal season that wasnt cursed by apex like season 12 or 17 when we had a million masters. This ranked system has improved from season 17 over two seasons and actually made progress in terms of actual skill needed to rank up and now we are back at just ape everyone until it works one game. Just die 4 times in a row, lose 240 RP and the 5th time you ape everyone you just end the game with 450RP... this is not a rank system its literally stupid!
All they had to was to remove trials from rookie to plat and make the only trial a win from diamond 1 to master/pred.
Removing trials and making changes to crafting + zone damage could have solved all the annoying bullshit we now have again in the game. Also how about we just add a simple colision plane under olympus for the love of god? How many times I actually had good games this season but I died in 2nd place because for 4 seasons in a row there is rats sitting under the map...
Destoryer dude was only the cherry on top of the apex cake that has already been rotting for years now! Its crazy how good the game could actually be if these trash devs would actually care about it and stop selling 360$ heirlooms to whales!
Well we did have clans and that seemed to be a pretty decent way to find people to queue up with but they took that away

Wasn’t this the purpose of clubs? Respawn implemented the feature, and left it there to rot until it was removed. IMO they need to bring it back and add to it.

Its blatantly obvious the issues with the game start with their lack of security. If people crappy people arent allowed to play anymore the playerbase will change for the better
& I feel one factor people forget to acknowledge is that sometimes you just have a falling out with a particular group you would’ve been 3 stacking with. I legit don’t have any real friends to play with anyways..

I stopped playing this game a month ago after being a day 1 player. I don't trust Apex game security AT ALL. The game has deteriorated to the point where I don't feel like playing.

On console banning people with zens would make ranked playable. Most top players in console especially PlayStation using Zens…. Because they’re not being banned or banned quick enough I’m debating about getting one myself because if you can’t beat them join them….. the amount people I spectate and see straight bullets and reticle staying still is unreal.
His recommending removal of Pred from Master's matches is genuinely stupid enough to discredit his entire thought process. Pred queues would be almost an hour, and early on in the seasons they wouldn't even be able to fill a lobby. The actual fix is adding solo mode, trying to skimp matchmaking to work around the actual solution is just stupid.
The reason why queue times are so high in this game is that they don’t allow cross platform matchmaking. If they did it would be astronomically faster.
Split up ranked between 2 groups - one just like it is now with 3 stacks and another where pre-made teams are removed and everyone has to cueue up solo, getting 2 hopefully random teammates every game.

Bro, it is not just ranked. My friends and my pubs have been f*ckin terrible on xbox, too. Every game is either top 200 pred, or a lvl 26 wraith with 500 kills already. I don't even know how that was even possible. It wouldn't be so bad if we actually stood a chance. It's definitely wearing on my mental health.

I'd say a hacker got access to his inactive account. I set up a fortnite account and didn't play it for a long time, when I went back to it someone had gotten access to it and had been playing on my account

Destiny implemented FTBMM (Fireteam Based Matchmaking) which tries to match squads of the same size. The PvP population of Destiny is wayyyyy smaller than Apex and the wait times were never that bad. They should try to implement something similar.
