- Sorry about the amateur quality of this video but I am an amateur! It's not easy recording music direct to computer and voice directly to a recorder and the pictures via a camera strategically placed as best as possible in a small room and then tie all these bits together.
Anyway, this is meant to be an overview of my new Johannus Opus 377 organ.
If you have any advice or questions, please put these in the comments below.
Wonderful instrument! Thanks for the "tour". It was quite interesting and helpful.
So awesome!!
I thought that was very interesting - good to learn about the different parts of the organ and how it all works.
Congratulations again on your home organ loft!!! Wonderful :)
Lovely to have the walk through. Sounds good.
Great job! You did very well for the video.
Maravilhoso
You still play beautifully Sir.
Technically, the piano is a percussion instrument, not a _string_ instrument.
❤️
Thanks for the demo. I have demo'd a few digital organs on my channel and you gave a much better explanation than I can, probably because I'm more used to pipe organs? Not sure if this is information you would like to share, but for somebody interested in buying a home organ of this specification, what sort of cost are you looking at? Wishing you a Happy New Year!
What are the stops on the sides of the Manuels
Pedal stops on the left, couplers on the right.
@@theorganloft8421what was the cost of this organ? (Shipping fees, actual cost, etc.)
I've never quite worked out what the roman numerals under mixture stops mean - could anyone enlighten me?
It relates to the number of 'ranks' I.e. lll means three ranks and lV means four ranks, which is 3 or 4 pipes for each note voiced on higher harmonic sounds, which adds texture to the sound, mixing the harmonics.
@@theorganloft8421 thank you - that's cleared it up for me! Best of luck with your future organ-playing
