Federal Signal Modulator 4016 - Short Alert | Hurlock, MD

I know in my Smyrna video I said this would be my last siren across the Bay Bridge, but it's not so yay. I had some doubts about this test but also some hope, because dorchester county sometimes don't test because they are slow! (Just kidding). Before the test, I wanted to call fire dispatch to make sure they test, but on the web, their is no number for the fire dispatch. So instead I called Hurlock VFC. They didn't answer twice, and then the next day they answered. The guy on the phone said it ussually goes off every Saturday, so he's saying generally they go off, and it could fail or not. I said ok, and i'll I had to do was just hope for the siren to go off. When it hit 12, the scanner actually went off, and I thought it was for the test, but instead it was just a call for abdominal pain. So I thought they weren't gonna test, but then I forgot that sometimes they test late because in Owens video (Sweet Tea Sirens), when he went to Vienna to see the Darley Screamer. It tested at 12:05. So I waited, and then my intuition was correct, and the siren went off at 12:04. Also another thing I noticed, I watched a video off this siren going off in 2013 for a fire call, it had a slow windup to it while doing attack, and now when I come back to this siren I don't see that. I wish this they didn't fix that problem but at least the MOD is still their.
Location: Hurlock Volunteer Fire Company
Testing: Every Saturday at noon (May test late)
Cycle: Short Alert for siren test, and full attack for fire calls

So what is frequency clearing? The tone was meant to page the FD.

I didn't know what the frequincy was originally for, so I just put frequincy clearance on their to make the video more finished, but thanks for letting me know that the tone was for paging! Also frequincy clearing is just a tone to put any calls on hold until the test is over
