As a Spanish speaker (from colombia), I can say that some of these expressions are similar to Spanish expressions. Is the first time listening to "to die for", "cracking", and "out of this world" and I understood them because their literal traductions in Spanish (colombia) have the same meaning: "esta como para morirse o esta de muerte", "la esta rompiendo/ la rompe", "esta fuera de este mundo".
How interesting. Thanks for sharing!

Your class is top notch!
Many many thanks
As far as I grasped the topic, we use the “top notch” expression while describing a visit to a restaurant, and primarily their delicious food.
When we intend to say something good about the advanced English lessons, the expression “your class rocks” seems more precise. Hope that I’m not mistaken, please correct me if I am.
I really appreciate you telling us about how much an expression is used..I find this information extremely important because we as non-native speakers can't relate to that and it gives us confidence to use the expression while being sure that we will be definitely understood when we use it.
Thank you so much, Sir for such an amazing video as always. ❤❤

Morning professor!
Hello sir Harry. You are great and Handsome Teacher. You English language is Amazing. I like you sir 💜💚 je 🍀
Thank you! 😃
Your lessons deserve nothing but praise, although I believe there's a huge gap between "good" (7/10) and "out of this world" (10/10). I see the latter as a replacement for "amazing", a very overused word.
I agree
Thanks a lot the best teacher 🙌🏼🤍
Thank you! 😃
Good
Sir, do you make videos on synonyms and their uses? I think this is also a difficult aspect of learning English. For example, when to use words like inculcate, infuse, imbue, impart, infill, ingrain indue and inject.
Thanks for the suggestion!
@@LearnEnglishwithHarry Thank-you so much sir.
Your lesson is the business, like always 😁
Can I say that our teacher has a sweet tooth?many examples related to cake😁
Have to confess i do. Well spotted 👍
Hi Harry, is especially the same as specially?
There is a slight difference between "especially" and "specially." "Especially" is used to emphasise something as particularly notable or above others, while "specially" implies that something is done for a specific purpose or tailored to particular needs. The distinction is subtle but important for precise communication.
The breakfast was top notch
❤
🤗
💗💗💗
Can i say that "you are out of the world"
Yes, you can use "you are out of this world" For example, if someone performed exceptionally well, showed extraordinary talent, or was incredibly kind in a way that left a strong impression
English for beginners
You have looks to die for
haha
I heard "boss level". Not sure whether it relates.
Walter White ( Heisenberg ) 😳😳
That’s me. Nice to meet you
Even I got the same vibe.
Older version of Heisenberg
I will avoid to the thing.
I just want to show out natural life.
If its good i say terrible in russian.
Please, remind us, is this phrases English or American?... It is not the same. For me, it's sounds strange and awful:- this cake is killer, OMG!!! 🙄
It is a very common phrase in BE
@@LearnEnglishwithHarry Thanks for an answer, but what is BE?
@@namesurname8987British English
British English
That's sick! or killer! Pretty strange ... neither of those are good things. Now they say beast in the bible the beast is not good in the mark sense.
What message are we sending the kids? It's no wonder they are confused.
