Those are 2 completely different laptops running different editions of Windows (Left has XP Professional, right has Home Premium). This test would be reliable if you had 2 identical laptops, one with Windows XP Professional, and one with Windows Vista Professional, started up at the same time (I heard of a thing you can do when you can have the PC started up on a timer, down to the millisecond), and don't dual-boot anything. Make it go straight to desktop.

I’m saying this because what if you want to test 2 different laptops that can only load different operating systems depending on basically their supported operating systems.
