Thank you sincerely for posting this. As a small child in the early 70s I wanted nothing more than to be a ventriloquist. My idol was Paul Winchell. His death crushed me. 😢 But now that we have Darci, I have a new favorite ventriloquist! 💕

I had cataract surgery a few years ago.
Definitely a great change, for the better.
I was blessed to have a physician who cared more about my health than his wallet...
My surgery was supposed to be $15,000
and my doctor cut my bill in half (I didn't have insurance, so I paid out of pocket.)
Also, a huge shout out to the person who donated their lenses! 😊
I can see better than I have for over 40 years.
And my surgeries were very straightforward, no complications at all.
If you're having vision problems, I highly recommend doing surgery...
it has made a world of difference for me.

What makes Darci so cute and cuddly is her nose. The nose knows.
I just watched Cheryl Ladd on Johnny Carson, 1978...she was not much older than our (Oklahoma girl) Darcy Lyn now
Darci could be her grand daughter they sure look alike the facial shape is almost identical but she really looks like her mom.
need to do a little fact checking. actually Bianca Ryan was the youngest AGT winner at age 11, She was born in Sept. 1994 and was crowned the winner in Aug. 1996. but i enjoyed your interview very much and i also voted for Darci Lynne and thought she was a well deserved winner based on talent not like the previous year which was more a popularity vote. that was a joke in my opinion and there were many more talented people who were more talented than the winner. I love it when new talent gets opportunities and step right in and smash them. i remember when Jackie Evancho got her first acting gig. Robert Redford saw her on AGT and told his producer to get that girl to play his daughter. They had her do a screen test and she got the part se was 10 or 11 at the time. She was 10 when she auditioned for AGT and she came in 2nd. I believe she is still the youngest artist to have a platinum album and she is still touring 12 years later. Maybe you could get her on your show. Great singer.
I had thought Bianca was 13 when she won, but I have 'fact-checked' and you are quite right! She was only 11 at the time... and in fact Grace VanderWaal was younger than Darci Lynn by 3 months (12y 8m vs 12y 11m, respectively) when she won AGT.

I have watched the movie and it is very twee and full of improbable coincidences and outcomes, but by and large it is good, wholesome, family entertainment with some nice (not great) songs beautifully sung by the cast. But I wish Darci Lynne could have been given more singing parts.
