My 2006 is a Limited model and the best car I have ever owned. It has satellite radio, am, fm and CD player. Very quiet ride and very smooth.
And I don’t miss the huge black grille the newer ones have - a reason I still own mine.

For a sub 10K car I think this is the best deal on the market for a commuter.
Toyota reliability, it won't break down, keeps going forever, ride quality is certainly good enough to absorb bumps, if you're coming from a Corolla, older Camry, or some cheapo-economy car, this thing will ride really nice compared to it.
Unless you're pushing air-ride, this thing is up there with ride quality, its entry-luxury and you won't want to go back.
V6 is peppy, decent luxury features, dual zone, push start, plus you get remote start in the higher-end trims which is great.
If you install an aftermarket head unit with android auto, its basically a modern car at that point.
Id rather own one of these clean with 100K miles fully loaded over a new sub-compact anyday, ride better, more luxury, and save 10K all day.

The Avalon has always been my favorite vehicle. I prefer the 2005-2010 years so much car for the money not to mention the v6 power which I prefer

This car is one of the best used cars on the market, i had a 2004 Lexus Ls430 i traded because of Check Engine lights and bought this one its has not had 1 problem in the 8 years i had it ,bought wit 60,000 mls now has 100,000 and is as strong as the day i bought it...i highly recommended this car ...keep in mind they dont come cheap in mint condition..the resale is still pretty good for a 14 yr old car.

Sorry i didnt see your guys message but honestly ! The car is perfect ! Nothing really bothers me its so spacious cause im a big guy lol and it runs smooth i got it with 90,000 miles and i havent had one single problem with it yet. Rn it is at 130,000 miles

This car reminds me of the 2005 Lexus ES 330 which i think i prefer. Newer model cars seam ugly in my eyes and the quality of the materials can't seem to stack up to these older models.

My two main options for my first car are either 05-06 Lexus es330 or the 2006-07 Toyota Avalon. It's a hard decision! The Avalon has great space in the back, more horsepower and looks a bit handsome on the outside and less old in my opinion than the Lexus. But damn the Lexus has an amazing interior. If there was more space in the back on the Lexus it would be a no brainier for me to choose the Lexus but the Avalon having lots of space in the back makes it a bit more unique.
My stepdad had an es 330 and now I'm looking at these for my first car looks very similar to it that Lexus has 226,000 miles when he sold it and ran like a champ.

I just bought one from FL with 177,000. Absolutely mint condition for $2500! My 16 year olds first car. Nicest car I've ever owned.
@@benluce4062 I got one in ny with 132k for 3600 and my dumass connected the new battery the wrong way and it's in the shop as we speak. But when I drove it from Brooklyn back to jerz it was so smooth. Only thing is that when I brought it it was sitting so the battery died. I don't know what I was thinking lol. Love that car tho.

Try re-teaching yourself to hold the steering wheel at four and eight (o’clock) After airbags were installed in all the cars instructors said that was the new preferred position for hands. Holding above the steering wheel causes hand and arm injuries if the airbags are deployed in an accident. It’s easier on the highway to hold at 4 and 8 and, you might have trouble in stop in go city traffic.

how does this compare to a Lincoln town car in terms of ride quality, power and reliability?
Excellent question! Unfortunately, we have not been awarded an opportunity to drive the Lincoln Town car. In our opinion and generally speaking, we would have to say that the reliability factor of a Toyota product would be high than a Lincoln product. This vehicle rode very smooth, it was quiet, and you can drive them until the wheels fall off...LOL Thanks for watching our video!
My opinion on it, though its late.
Keep in mind that a car being maintained well is the difference in ride quality for allot of cars.
Ride quality; LTC is going to win but barely, if the LTC is a 10/10, the Avalon is a 9/10. The rear air-ride is nice on the LTC, it absorbs bumps better, but its not a game changer, comfort is comfort, and both ride nicely, but if the rear air ride has been replaced, it's more comparable.
Power; Toyota is going to be faster and more on-demand, that V6 is pretty solid and torquey.
Reliability; Toyota is going to take it on that one, many could argue the mid 2000's is peak Toyota and its never going to stop running on you, the LTC is great but in the end, its still a ford, build quality isn't going to be the same, though they're both reliable, if I had to put it on a scale, the Toyota is a 10/10 while the LTC is a 9.7/10.
Opinions outside of it;
Comfort; LTC will take the cake, seats will be more cushy, more adjustable, etc, though the Avalon seats are still great.
Tech; the Toyota has heated/cooled seats, higher-end models have remote start, push to start, rear sun shades, etc. simple, but still reliable and superior tech over the LTC.
However, when when we're talking luxury features, the LTC's seats roll back when you turn the car off, has an option to power adjust petals, etc. It feels more like a traditional luxury car.
Quality; I think the Toyota takes the cake, but barely, it just feels slightly more solid.
Noise; I don't think there is a big difference between the two.
Design; I think Toyota takes the cake here too, the Avalon is more attractive IMO, especially on the interior, which looks more like its from the 90's in the LTC, though, this is debatable.
If I was looking for a car, id probably go Avalon personally, mainly because they're everywhere, try googling a LTC in your local area code and you might only find a few, compared to the Avalon, which isn't in short supply.
Might find yourself compromising on a LTC, meanwhile, you can go pick up a dealer-serviced, 0 rust, immaculate condition, 1-2 owner Avalon for the same price.

I wish someone told me this before I bought my avalon. 1 month later I realized the car had blown head gaskets. The quotations I get for the headgaskets are insane. So anytime you buy an old car take it for a pre inspection. Lesson learnt too late

I'd say this generation was the best looking of the Avalon series. It looks classy like a Benz and does an okay job at bridging the gap between Toyota and Lexus. and it has a bumper instead of it all being grille.
