@@Rmzullo Hi jumping in here because I have a similar question. What ate the photo slides in the second box for? is that the film? And if so how do you install the film?
No that is not film. The camera does not come with any film. Those are just examples and tips on how the pictures will turn out like! To load a pack of film you need to open the film door in the back, align the yellow tabs while putting the film cartridge in, and close it!
The one thing I was looking to do easily and did not get a clear shot of was how to insert the batteries. Oh, well. At least, you don't linger on instructions like a lot of other CZcamsrs do.

How do I properly load film into the camera? The loading chamber area is massive and it doesn’t want to lock into place
You need to align the yellow tab on the film with the tab on the camera. It doesn’t lock into place. When you close the door the door keeps the film in place.

The flash on mine stopped working randomly and I’m not sure how to fix it. The flash button is on but no flash

Quick question what is that green gel for? And how do you use the cover?
The green gel is to put on the flash to give your pictures a green color to them. I’m not sure what you mean by how to use the cover. You just put it on the lens when you’re not using it.
This video was very helpful but I still can’t get the camera to take a picture 🙁 please do a video of loading the film and actually taking photos
Hmm I wonder why you’re having trouble. Does it just not eject the film? Or does it eject and the film comes out dark or white?
Hi! I’m trying to decide between getting my girlfriend this or the instax mini 11. I’ve heard the lomo can be inconsistent but wondering if that is true. It would be part of the adventure challenge bundle! Thanks
Totally fair question. I think for ease of use you should get the Adventure Challenge book and the mini 11 instead of the book and this camera. While the lomo is a great camera, the learning curve is a little too steep in my opinion. Especially for a person that’s new to instant photography. If she has used instant cameras before and is used to it then the lomo isn’t bad. Just depends on what you’re looking for and what her experience and comfort level is. I hope this helps!
It was weird getting the batteries separately and not getting any film…. Seems like for the price there definitely should have been film with it instead of a box of already taken films with useless tips.

I received some batteries in the mail but I didn’t receive the book nor camera... does this sound normal?
No that doesn’t sound normal at all. There should be a camera.
I just got this camera. Why is there a black vertical line in the viewfinder? Is this some camera thing I don’t understand?

I like the challenge book, camera sucks if taking pics outside, even when I use the '-' when it's bright out and '+' when it's cloudy... lot of film gets wasted and it's not cheap!!!
Can't open the back film door until the film is ALL used, or else all the unused film goes to waste

If you’re looking for an easy to use, on the go instant camera I’d say the Instax Mini 11 or (if you like the style better and have the extra money) the Instax Mini 40. They’re the same camera just in different body styles.
What to do with the other small box that has photos already taken?
Those are just sample pictures. You can either keep those or get rid of them and use the box to store your own pictures!

Do you know the size of the film it takes? The film sold thru their website is just too expensive, there are a bunch of instax mini films on ebay for 1/3 os the price. I just want to make sure I’m getting the right size. Do you know anything about that? Thanks!

My lense doesnt want to twist and turn on the camera
Hmm not sure why that would be. Maybe the thread is on crooked? They shouldn’t be hard to put on and off
What kind of battery does the lens take?
The lens remote shutter takes 1x CR1632 battery! I hope that helps!

Is this camera better Than the intax mini 11?
Depends on what kind of photography you’re into. This camera is more expensive and has more creative control. But if you’re just looking to run and gun and just want a camera that is user friendly, this is the one to go with!

I’m looking to purchase this camera purely to take some cute newborn shots after my baby arrives, is this easy to use?
It’s pretty easy to use but can be a little tricky in certain situations. If you want an easy to use instant camera I’d look into the Instax Mini 11 or 12. Those are more for quick “pick me up” shots. I hope this helps! And congrats on the new baby!
What do you mean by "defrosting"
I cold store my film in the fridge so it doesn’t expire as quick. When you do that you have to take it out of the fridge and let it come to room temp before using ☺️👍🏽

I just bought it from their website. No batteries and no film included... Paid over 250$ for something not ready to use. I wasn't impressed.
