- This is a film about a woman barista in Indonesia, Della Mifti.
Showing the world how important it is to be
passionate and dedicated in the coffee industry as a barista.
Because it is not just a coffee making job, it is more like a role.
5 years experience in handling coffee at bar while having her study in food technology
made her very deep doing what she does. Eventually, passion and dedication
that brought her to do what she likes to do the most: making coffee.
Being a woman barista was her own choice out of so many options out there as a food technology graduate.
Because this choice was all about her deep connection with coffee,
her passion to what she’s been doing at coffee shop, and the dedication within.
She is into the coffee
in fact, the coffee industry in Indonesia is growing great right now.
Every detail and aspect of the industry should be taken care of by enthusiastic well knowledge visionary people.
For her, to choose being a barista was one the very basic steps to know the detail of this industry.
Thus in the future, she could contribute for something bigger in the coffee industry.
It doesn’t matter what background you are from,
man or woman, as long as you do what you like, you’re difficult to break.

Thats why i brew my coffee by hand. Taking the beans every morning. Cracking them and using boiled water to prepare my coffee.! Simple as that! Water temperature areound 94 degrees. Hand made coffee that is.!

Nonton video ini, bagus banget. Aku termasuk baru mulai suka sama seluk beluk kopi. Minggu kemarin coba untuk cari dan berinteraksi langsung dengan petani. Semakin paham bagaimana panjangnya proses dari petani, roaster, barista, sampai ke konsumen. Tapi aku bukan belajar semakin menghargai kopi. Tapi belajar menghargai semuanya. Kadang kita lupa, hal apapun yang kita, pakai, gunakan, dan konsumsi sangat panjang dan melibatkan banyak sekali manusia dan kehidupan yang mereka perjuangin.
