I actually have this piece of furniture but in the three door version! I inherited it from my mom. While it’s a lovely piece, I’ve been staring at it for years, wanting to paint it, I can’t bring myself to do it. It was amazing to see the potential it has! I’ve hated the handles and the color. Maybe now I can bring myself to finally do it after having it for 12 years. I’ve been fascinated with chalk painting ever since Annie Sloan came out, but have never done it. So I’m finally going to try it with a dresser, not a great piece of furniture, so it’s my practice piece. So excited to start it! Thank you for always providing such great inspiration!

Kacha, really like your work. Have spent part of my vacation watching lots of different people's videos...we all have our own art...one in particular is a really good artist but totally destroyed a gorgeous table...I'm a former cake artist, floral designer, upholsterer, made several wedding gowns, and forever have painted furniture although not for a long time after I closed my cake business. But, there just are some pieces of furniture that destroying specific things on them, hurts me a lot...so seeing so many gifted artists, I know approximately what I'm hoping to do and absolutely, what I won't do. You are a great inspiration...now I need to find my furniture refinishing box and my upholstery box (for the tools to pull out staples) and make a place in my home to do this again. Thanks for the inspiration.
Thank you Kacha. This one is so pretty. I tried this technique earlier this year after one of your tutorials and it worked out beautifully. I used dark wax on white at the end instead of dry brushing. You’re such an inspiration to all of us. 💙💙

My favorite so far because it looks simple to achieve a beautiful look. I like the fact that you can let each process dry overnight. Definitely going to try some Dixie Belle Dusty Blue. Would love to see more blue projects.
I really like this for an easy technique that anyone can easily do. I will show this video to my granddaughter who wants to paint her dresser.

This is so pretty. May I suggest removing the drawers and doors to paint? It certainly will make painting the body easier and better. You do beautiful dry brushing.

I’m getting ready to try some dry brushing to see if I can get a look on a piece that is missing a je me sais quoi. I’m always amazes me that you paint your hardware instead of removing it. I need to remember that next time I come across something like that. To let it it go like Kacha does! Lol
